Burritos are good. Carnitas off the hook better than anywhere else around. Y’all should try their food. Won’t be disappointed.

The little Mexican boy in me(not like that… geez Nando…) rode his bike over to get some rice, beans and salsa to accompany the«cochinita pibil» in the slow cooker this evening. Rice– good, though I’m not sure how one could mess that up. Beans– you’d think the same, but these beans are super tasty/flavorful. Hence, me getting these instead of opening up a can of Rosarita. Salsa– the fresh stuff is almost to die for. Canned/bottled stuff will never ever satiate like this does. David B. out.(mic drop)

Great place to eat for a mom and pop Mexican restaurant. The food is delicious and I really liked the Aqua fresca.

Love, love, love their food. Chile verde is amazing. Salsa is perfection. My only complaint, wish it was bigger and little kids won’t lay and play on floors.

Every time I drive on route to San Francisco I stop by this place to eat their carne asada burrito. It’s cheap $ 4 and its delicious! Call to order because they make the burrito fresh each time, which means it takes about 10 minutes. I also love their Mexican bread. Yum!

They serve the best burrito(if not best mexican food) in town! My employees and I always end up getting food here a couple times a week. The food is priced well and has a LOT of flavor. They can get busy at lunch, so call your order in so you aren’t left standing around waiting for your meal.

The carnitas here are pretty good. We always get them here for parties and get-togethers, and everyone says they’re yummy. Not the best I ever had(that’d be in SF), but definitely hold they’re own. We’ve also had the rice and beans for our parties, and everything seems to enjoy. The store is smaller, but they have an abundance of items. Service is fast and friendly. Plus, it’s right off the freeway so you can make quick stops for a yummy paleta :)

Their marinated Chicken and Carne Asada is pretty bland, and how can you call yourself a Mexican market when you don’t carry Achiote paste?

Phenomenal. You will enjoy whatever you order here. You know its bad when someone in the office has to drive from North Sacramento just to pick up lunch. You wont be disappointed. At least I haven’t been. Family owned, great service and the food quality is consistent at both locations. My favorites are the burritos and the salsa but between myself and my office we have tried EVERYTHING on the menu. Go. Go Now… aren’t you hungry?

The best take out Mexican food in town! The mild salsa is so perfect, you could find yourself downing a whole container of it before you realize the quick shifty movement of chip to dip to mouth! The burritos are big and bountiful on meat and other glorious ingredients of your choice. The specials will assist even those digging quarters out of their seats to be able to enjoy a bite of something amazing without spending a fortune. Try the shredded beef – it is flavorful, juicy and addicting! They actually have a very nice array of meat options to choose from to purchase alone to make tacos at home or in their own tacos, burritos, tortas, and tostadas. Yum! Run to Lupitas Carniceria for your next meal!

I just felt like I needed to update this. Just recently I got a torta from here with chicken chipotle… Wow!!! Probably the best torta I’ve ever had! Seriously, go have it! It’ll be on of the best sandwiches you’ll ever have. Go taste it now… Somehow it wasn’t dry at all, so moist with the juicy chicken, guac, and cream. My stomach was very pleased that day

Carniceria Lupita is a small, but well-stocked Mexican grocery store with all types of packaged and fresh foods. The real deal. Notable is its meat deli where you can get freshly cooked Mexican dishes such as tacos, tamales, burritos, etc. Prepared while you wait. I like their super burritos with choice of meat from their deli counter. The food here is better than at the nearby Mexican restaurants and far better than Taco Bell. Strictly take out food. No place to sit and eat.
