If you appreciate home made food, this is the best Peruvian spot in Doral ! I normally go for lunch to take advantage of the $ 6.99 lunch specials. All lunch specials include their house soup, DELICIOUS! It is a very humble location and the servers are great. It can get busy however, it does not deter them from providing great customer service . Auténtica comida Peruana !

I love this place. The food is authentic(the owner is the chef). Waitresses are genuine and friendly. I lived in Peru for a while and this food is great in comparison and much better to fancier Peruvian places.

Food was great. We got a seafood fried rice dish and ceviche. Only bummer was we spoke no Spanish and they were a little rude to us but the food was delicious. I recommend it

I work nearby and order from here now and again. Love the chicharon de pescado and their chaufa. Their ceviche is also pretty awesome. Definitely a hidden gem. The restaurant is not too big and gets really full during lunch time. I suggest you call in your order and pick up.

We came in a few minutes before they were closing, but they invited us right in. Best seafood I had in Miami, perfectly cooked, the squid was not overdone or chewy, nearly never happens right? Huge portions, wonderful server, almost like being served by an aunt or very good family member. Will certainly visit this place on my next trip. As for the English, they do speak English, but like most non-native, non-practicing speakers, they get nervous, so work on your Spanglish, but the entire menu does have both English and Spanish, so worst case scenario, just point, nod and shrug… Go, judge for yourself, but really great seafood, fresh, and their spicy table chili sauce is perfect, note the spicy, but its so good I’d probably eat it on a shoe.

Tucked away in a strip mall in an industrial section of Doral, it would be easy but ill-advised to overlook Chimu. The room is nothing special but the food sure is! They have a reasonably priced menu of all the Peruvian favorites. The Mr. and I came here on Saturday for lunch and shared the piqueo(I think that is what it was called) — a HUGE platter with 4 mussels topped with red onion and tomato, a mound of jalea, 4 thick slabs of fried yucca, and ceviche mixto. The leche de tigre came in a dish on the side, so the fried stuff didn’t get soggy. Brilliant! The food was excellent — the fish super fresh, fried items nice and crisp. Service was friendly and the waitress was fluent in English! They do auto-tip, but only 15%(!!!) and the service is fine, so no issues there. Definitely stop by — it’s worth it!

Seafood cerviche to die for! Excellent menu and excellent food. The place is small and tucked away in a strip mall. It is always packed with locals. Expect it to be pricey, I have been there twice and both time a lunch for two was around $ 50 with tip. Worth it in my opinion! ps no one speaks english, so no hablo, good luck…

Small authentic peruvian restaurant serving big bold flavors. I had the lomo saltado and it was phenomenal! The place gets packed but I was able to call ahead to place my order and reserve a table. Great price!

This a very small Peruvian Restaurant located in Doral, Fl. The Place is nothing fancy but the food is worth the stop. I usually go there for lunch and during the week. They have great specials which always include a cup of soup, just great! They are very inexpensive, one of the dishes for the lunch menu can cost you $ 6.99 + Soup for example. A ceviche can cost you anything from $ 11-$ 14. The two waitresses are really nice. The food is 100% authentic. Check it out!
