Unique Nails

My review is based on the facility and the owner of this place, not the ladies who work here! The staff seems to do a good job but the owner is SO CHEAP! The gel colors are displayed on the bottles, not painted on plastic nails so it’s easier to see how the color looks! The «massage» chairs are sooo outdated! They just «vibrate»…you will not get any sort of «massage», and to move them forward/​back, it’s manual. The tools they use are NOT sterilized! They use them on someone, then spray some alcohol and use them on you!!! Ugh, and to save money on buying aluminum foil, they put your fingers in a nasty cup filled with RECYCLED acetone that every single customer has dipped their hands in… and you can see the diff. nail polish colors floating around! Oh, and don’t even try the hair salon next door! A few months ago I was getting my hair washed with FREEZING COLD water! When I told the lady, she apologized and said they had told the owner the hot water hadn’t been working but he wouldn’t fix it! But hey, guess what? THEY CHARGE THE SAME (AND EVEN MORE) THAN THE VERY NICE AND CLEAN NAIL SALONS DOWN THE STREET!!! Never coming back! I’ll stick to «Icon Nail» on 107 and 19^th st!!!

My supervisor recommended me Unique Nails (she’s a regular here) during the week of Thanksgiving, because all the other nail places in the area were booked!
I was able to book and appointment for 2. When my sister and I got there, it was packed! Everybody was getting there thanksgiving nails done haha! I don’t know if the other people there waiting were walk ins or not, but we waited about 35mins, with an appointment, until the owner (i believe) noticed us waiting in the salon section and asked us if we had an appointment. The lady that did my nails was very nice and was able to do nail art.
Gel nails with reg Polish on toes was $ 40 or $ 45
And regular mani/​Pedi was $ 35

Don’t go at 9am without appt. They won’t take walk ins. Even though two manicurist were available.

I love this place, Maray is my to go girl, she is excellente!!!

Highly recommended. All the girls are polite and they take time to do my nails. The plus for this place is the hair salon next to it where you can have everything done in one place.

Tita no longer works there and Keka recommend Talia. I now ask for her every time for my gel mani & pedi. Talia sits at the first station on the right hand side. Look at my pictures to see the wonderful work she does.

The ladies were nice and didn’t botch my nails, however, their sanitation and treatment procedures are questionable. I’m all about recycling and saving the planet, but I noticed that the nail technicians were reusing Victoria’s Secret body mist sprays and spraying cuticle oil out of them. They don’t rub down your feet which is probably the best part of the treatment, very surprised they left that out considering how much they charge for a spa pedicure. I also noticed that the nail technicians were not using gloves. The place is normally busy and noisy from all the shop talk too.

I’ve never had such a horrible experience at a nail salon like I did at «Unique Nails». Most of the ladies were very rude. The owner is the RUDEST of them all. If you are part of the LGBT community DO NOT EVEN ENTER! They will treat you badly. I felt discriminated against because I went in there with my girlfriend. I sat there for 5 hours for a mani and pedi AND still left unhappy. Two ladies did my nails and they did not do them correctly. I feel it was done on purpose because of my sexuality. I will never go again. Venezuelans are the rudest women I have ever encountered.

The establishment is beautiful. everyone is so friendly. I always get my nails done by a lady which call Ani (I can’t pronounce her name). she’s amazing! she is very sweet and helpful. I have ingrown nails, and she always leaves my toes clean and pain-​free.

Great nail place. All ladies work very good my favorite lady is Marly, she takes forever doing my nails but is totally worth it. The owner is always around making sure clients get proper service .
The place is really clean, brand new spa seats. Best place for nails in Doral area .

I’m a regular since this place opened and I love the environment. Keka is my mani/​pedi girl and although she takes longer than the others, she really takes her time and the outcome is amazing. I will keep coming here.

Great new nail salon in Doral. Came in on a Wednesday morning, without an appointment and was attended to immediately. Prices were great, $ 35 for a manicure/​pedicure. The salon does offer waxing services, as well as gel manicures and acrylics.
I will definitely be going back here in the future!
