so decided to come here last minute. first of all this place is 24 hours! I mean as New Yorker I was honestly surprised but excited. it’s huge in here and clean. staff was friendly. They have a good amount of pool tables and the crowd was extremely chill. The only disappointment was the bar being closed at the time we got there(12;30am) I mean the place is 24hrs. everything should be open 24hours. Other than that this place is awesome!

Easily one of the most embarrassing situations I’ve ever been in. My date and I ordered drinks from the bartender, who decided not to serve us because we were«too drunk and don’t need enough». Upon questioning this he tried to get me to go outside and fight him. Fair enough except for the fact that we hadn’t drank a single drop prior to coming there, weren’t rude to the gentleman at all, and received this treatment in front of everybody for no apparent reason. This is the first review I’ve ever written because I’m sitting here dumbfounded, that a guy like that can have a job dealing with people, and isn’t already in jail for assault because somebody looked at him wrong at some point. I’ve never been treated that way ever before. Have fun being a bartender your whole life because you clearly can’t be a functioning member of society, buddy.

Used to be one of my favorite places to hang out — not anymore. What used to happen was that you’d need your id if you’re gonna drink and that’s only if it’s after 10 or 11. However, on my most recent visit, this incredibly rude not even a police officer stood in the front entrance and required all of us to have an id before heading in. The requirement was 17+ which we all were. The second we took out our ids, he told us that they apparently don’t accept college ids, only legitimate ones. Okay. I was fine with that and was about to turn and leave and he said, «Hurry up, you’re holding up the line». There was no one behind us. Overall, if you don’t have a legitimate id, not 17+, and don’t want to deal with this ahole, don’t go.

I absolutely love Boston Bowl. I have been a few group functions here and also just bowling with some friends. It’s a very clean, bright, cheerful atmosphere. I am not a professional bowler by any means but I always have a good time here. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the prices are reasonable. The food at the onsite restaurant is not bad either. I would say there is definitely something for everyone here. I would definitely come back again and recommend this place to a friend!

Great place for kids — extremely poor service — especially by Corina — apparently on ‘Party patrol’ — was rude, aggressive, short tempered and without any people manners. Not really sure how she got the post of ‘party patrol’.l without having the necessary interpersonal skills.

Love this spot — great deals for non profit groups! I’ve been bringing kids from my youth group here for years, and have never had any issue — in fact, customer service has always been top notch — polite & efficient. Parking can be a bit of an issue, but the place itself is huge, with an arcade and pool. Arcade is pretty good, but I’ve never played pool so I can’t speak to that. Also one of the only 24⁄7 spots in Boston.

Boston Bowl is ok. They have a decent amount of lanes for bowling. Really dusty/dirty/worn looking shoes, I swear I get really grossed out by those shoes although they give you brand new socks. The pool table are way too close to one another which it makes it super difficult and it gets kind of stressful having to ask people to move. They have a decent baseball/softball outside space which needs major update. It’s so crusty that sometimes the machine gets stuck. The video game«room» is small and there’s not that many machines to choose from but enough to keep someone entertain for a good 40 minutes. They serve alcohol which is a plus and crappy food that I would never dare to eat. They also have vending machines. They are open 24⁄7 and the crow that comes here is not THE best. A lot of younger kids that smell like weed and act like punks. At least they have plenty of parking space in the front side of the locale.

My BF and I came her on a busy Saturday night and had a total blast! Once we decided on ten-pin(vs candlepin) we ponied up the extra moolah for the«Destination Room» which is a fancy name for a bowling alley/lounge with a bar and lane service. With music videos playing over each lane and music blasting, it was sooo much fun! The food and cocktail menu was pretty standard bar fare, but the variety of options from Deadwood Brewery(the onsite brewery) was probably the most impressive, and the one we took most advantage of. it was really good! The downside to all of this is that is it NOT cheap. For 2 ppl to bowl one game(with shoe rental included) it was $ 14… But who plays one game? The pitchers of beer were $ 15(also not cheap.). They do have«all included» options for 1 and 2 hours which might be a better option for larger groups. The staff were also really friendly and helpful when we had issues with our lane scoring improperly and remedied the situation quickly. Will definitely return again with friends!

I’ve come here a couple times and it honestly depends when you come, because you’ll get s different experience each time. I came once with s group to bowl and it was great, fairly priced and not too crowded. The last time I went was a Friday night and we decided to get drinks while waiting for our friends to get there. The counter service bar had crazy long lines with people ordering food and took forever just to get a beer. They had a lounge that served hard alcohol, and while there was a private party in the lounge you could still go in to get drinks. Problem was, there was only 1 bartender and they served the people from the party first so after twenty minutes of waiting, my friends and I finally just finished our beers and left without bowling. Not sure what kind of business they do being open 24 hours but it’s not in the greatest neighborhood so don’t think I’d want to be here late at night.

Boston Bowl is a 24⁄7 facility that offers bowling, arcade games, pool, and food/beverages. The best time to go is during the day. less people. The location isn’t all that great either. Nonetheless, its pretty fun. If you’re playing in teams, you can have the stuff set the system so you alternate lanes

Went here on Saturday afternoon with my family from out of town. The place was full and fun. Our lane went down for a second, but Louis the maintenance guy had our lane back up in less than a minute. Good was great from deadwood. My brother in law was impressed by the microbrew. The bowling lane measures how fast you bowl in MPH and that’s really cool.

I don’t know why, but we came here at midnight and bowled till 3am on a thursday night… and I had a blast LOL. It’s not the cleanest or the«most hip» in terms of the interior, OH and not everyone at the wee hours of the night/morning will be sober in more ways than one, but it’s cheap and you get free socks! Also, I think the pins here are lighter than most bowling places because my scores were rocket high(. I normally suck), so if you’re looking to impress, head here! additional note: they charge by the frame, so if you leave mid-game due to technical difficulties(aka the machine broke), you’ll still get charged for the frames that you played up to that point. Just thought that was weird.

Went here last night with my boyfriend. It was fine, seemed relatively clean. I went to get a drink(a glass of wine which is woodbridge, and bottle of bud light) I paid, then walked away and realized she charged me 35 $… i was confused, but thought maybe they just jacked the drink prices up extra(i even left her a tip not realizing) when I went back to my lane … I looked at the menu– she charged me for a bottle of wine. I went back and they couldn’t reimburse me on my credit card so they just handed me some cash. If you go here just make sure you check what they are charging you.

If you bring your family to this«family fun» place, make sure your family is 18+. They started checking our ID’S. It’s not even about the late nights, they are just checking it for your elegebility to enter. If you want to have fun, have fun making another trip back here with your ID’S.

Why wouldn’t I give it 5 stars, you get free socks every time! Anyways, I always have a great time here when we’re in the mood for late night bowling. They changed the rules so you have to be 18+ at night, but that’s fine… stay in school kiddies.

This has been my go-to spot for billiards, bowling, and DDR/ITG for YEARS nows. It’s has come far in terms of business and renovations. The staffs are super friendly and they remember regulars, which is always nice. They have a great In The Groove machine with some pretty decent songs. The only other spot I can think of that has a wider selection would be in New York. Food here is decent, nothing too special, but I swear on my right thumb the fried chicken is pretty damn amazing! Their specials are pretty sweet as well. $ 3 Thursdays and Half off Mondays can’t be beat!

I love the bowling and free socks. I don’t like the smell of the arcade(like an old persons home). I also dislike the card machines. They suck. You purchase a card it gives a receipt and… error message. Then you wait for a manager with the key(because apparently regular employees aren’t lucky enough to have this high level clearance). But it still doesn’t work so you wait some more… but there’s free socks!!! The arcade itself has decent games. The claw machine with candy has mostly peanut products full of anaphylaxis. Meet claw of death. My kid kept dumping $ into it trying to get the one bag of skittles. Fail. The lanes are in great condition and a lot of fun. Stop by Philips Candy House next store before leaving. It’s not Gowells but better than Hilliards.

Not bad, not bad at all! But far from perfect. First, there is a shuttle that runs to this place(or rather the Inn across the parking lot) every half-hour from the JFK/UMASS RedLine MBTA station. It is called the Phillips Family Shuttle.(Call them for hours of operation, as on some days/times it may not run) Balls are in good condition, and the color coding system with weight and finger sizes is pretty cool! Lanes themselves are in impeccable condition, as I have experienced candle-pin lanes can be a little bumpy sometimes. Lanes also have automatic, computerized scoring. However, the bumpers create a problem when down, as a little piece can stay up. I tried to bowl a ball into the very corner, but missed… because the ball bounced off the sliver of bumper that was still up. Speaking of bumpers, There are many many kids who go to this place, and they can, at time, be a little loud, and quite frankly, a little unsupervised. If you bring kids, make sure they don’t go into the lane, to the line on it. They are well oiled, and WICKED slippery. Shoes are rentals, are are okay. When ten pin bowling, when I let the ball go, there was no support for the weight that had suddenly shifted to my foot. Other alleys, and my own shoes(which I had forgotten to bring) are better. Socks are included with shoe rental, you get to keep them, and they are great!(Especially for me, who has trouble finding well fitting socks) (P.S. if you bowl often, buy your own shoes, they are inexpensive, and will pay for themselves after a year just don’t wear them anywhere but any alley) Staff tries to be polite, but aren’t the nicest people I have ever met, I can’t blame them though, as they probably have to deal with a lot from customers. Arcade is geared more towards kids, and is overpriced… about 2X as expensive as similar machines in similar arcades. Location itself isn’t the cheapest I’ve ever been too either. Location is pretty clean though.

Went for a Birthday Party… Have been many times for Cas hanging and its fine, but when its a Birthday Party just make sure you go with someone who has patience… First off the kid in the ticket section who changes in for prizes… GETSOMECUSTOMERSERVICETRAINING… Grant it there are a lot of bad ass little kids running around, but Im sure at some point in your training or job interview process you had to have been warned you would be working with Children… He would just walk away from the counter, then turn his back on people mid sentence, NOEXCUSEME, or Just a moment… Have some manners… I cant stand to go to this place when Im not required to attend a fam birthday party because everyone is just soo rude… But the food is decent, Bowling is fun… Just Mgmt needs to be more aware if you hire Mean ass people they are going to have Mean ass attiudes…
