New to the area, I looked to Unilocal for a salon. I worked for an upscale salon in Florida, and wanted that same experience. Out of 20 salons near me, only 3 had reviews… Charmaine’s had 10 (all high marks) & the other 2 had 1 each. My daughter, Kaitie, got a cut with Caitie. I got highlights and a cut with Sam. These ladies did a fantastic job on both of us, but the experience was made whole by being spoken to by almost every employee. They are so friendly, and truly kind women. It was a wonderful experience, and the pricing is very reasonable. If you want to be treated like a friend, and look amazing when you leave, you need to go to Charmaine’s.

I liked this place. It was very clean, updated, and the stylists keep up on latest trends. I have long, fine hair, Leah gave me «seamless layers» and my hair is 100% better. It’s very blended and fresh. She also took her time and did an excellent job on drying. I also had a nice hair wash and got a bit of a neck rub. They had water and coffee as well.

I have not let anyone cut my hair in over 10 years. Caitie cut my hair last weekend and did a jam up job. All my friends said I have to let Caitie cut my hair from here out. I agree! Great job Caitie!

I was the Maid of Honor for my best friends wedding and Charmaine’s did our hair and makeup. They were awesome! I can’t say enough how much I loved my updo and makeup! I got so many compliments throughout the night and so did the rest of the bridal party. The bride looked stunning! The ladies of Charmaine’s came on site and were fantastic to work with– very professional and so sweet to all of us girls. The price was more than reasonable for how great we all looked. Highly recommended if you are looking for a professional hair and makeup team. Thanks Charmaine’s!

After being referred to Charmaine’s by a good friend, I drove all the way from Chattanooga, TN to see Jena, one of the owners of Charmaine’s. The staff was amazing! Friendly, welcoming, helpful… an overall relaxing & positive experience. I cannot say enough about the professionalism displayed by all of the salon staff. They made sure they knew exactly what I wanted in color & cut, showing me numerous images until we found the perfect one. My color is amazing! Jena is an extremely skilled stylist. I could not have been happier with my color, cut, & style. I will make the 2 hour drive every 4 – 6 weeks as it is not easy to find a top notch stylist who is consistent, professional, and well trained. Charmaine’s/Jena has a new fan!

I have come in here since my stylist Kimber came over. I have really enjoyed the place and she is absolutely amazing. Lori and her always have the funniest conversations. I think the front desk lady isn’t super friendly but cant win them all.

Most awesome place in town! I’m glad that I was referred to this place by a friend of mine. Josh is AMAZING and did exactly what I wanted and then some. This place totally beats the place that I use to go to in Cali!
