Domino’s Pizza

Chicken was alright but the plain pie was inedible. So much grease. Never had a domino’s that bad.

First time getting pizza from a Domino’s in well over a decade. We received a 12″ with sliced Italian sausage.
The good: Delivered in a timely manner and it was hot upon arrival. The improved sauce is indeed better than the old days and the cheese tasted cheesy.
The bad: The sausage tasted little like Italian sausage and more like sliced hot dog. It was thickly cut and frankly, disgusting.
Had the pizza been plain, it may have ranked a 2.5, but the sausage was nauseating and that brings my review down to a 1.8.
~$ 15 with tip for this 12″ pizza brings that down to a 1.01 and I suspect I’ll be tasting this grub for a few days.

I absolutely HATE «chain-​store» pizza!
Having said that, this Dominoes has completely blown me away!
My daughter had seen a Dominoes commercial, & begged me to order one night. Though I was less than thrilled, I decided to give in & ordered. Normally, I hate everything about chain– pizza… grainy fake cheese, sauce that suspiciously resembles ketchup, crust you could use as a pillow, so much grease John Travolta & Olivia Newton John show up, etc.
Not expecting much, I ordered a «works» pizza for my hub, chicken tenders & cheesy bread for my daughter, & a «build your own» pasta bowl for me (penne pasta, alfredo sauce, diced tomatoes, black olives, grilled chicken, & grated provalone). 30 minutes later, our order arrived — hot, delicious, & 100% correct.
My pasta was fresh & so very yummy… perfect portion size — not huge, not too small to hide from sharing w/​everyone. It was made to my exact specifications (not too much sauce, tons of tomato & olives & provalone, a little bit of chicken). My daughter’s chicken was tasty, juicy, not the least bit greasy (w/​a nice sized tub of dipping sauce). The cheesy-​bread was cheesy & garlicky…& NOT GRAINY! Hub’s pizza was fresh, the sauce was neither ketchuppy, or spicy — just perfect.
I was so pleasantly surprised, that we ordered again the next day… only to have another perfect experience.
WTG Dominoes in Dover, for turning this pizzaria snob into one of your biggest fans! We will be ordering again soon…& often.

Gave them only three stars because I placed a carrout order and when I got home, I was given the wrong pizza. The ordering thru my phone app was easy. But disappointed I was not given the correct order.

Ordered online for carryout. Got home realized that didn’t include any 1 of the 3 sauces we ordered (2 for chicken, 1 for bread bites). When I called back, I was hung up on, twice. Will not be heading back to this Domino’s ever again.

Incredible turnaround over the past few years. Excellent web and mobile interface makes it easy and kind of fun to order a pizza. The quality and taste have really improved and chains like Pizza Hut can’t touch them. Delivery is very reliable always arriving within the estimated time range. If you are looking for some solid pizza delivered quickly, these guys get it done.

While the pizza continues to be good, I just had my first cheesesteak. These things are vile. Overly salty with a funky creamy taste to it. It’s just wrong. Driving the porcelain bus all night.

if you like dominoes pizza then you like this pizza. I’m giving it 5 stars because the staff here are the nicest around. Every time we get delivery, the drivers are overly friendly (but not in a creepy way). They’re just good guys and aren’t afraid to exchange pleasantries for a few minutes rather then just drop the pizza off and run.

I love pizza. After seeing the new tv advertisements about the improvements that Dominoes made in their pizzas, we decided to try it the other day. We made use of the (2) Medium Pizzas for $ 5 deals and ordered our pizzas online. The whole ordering system was pretty good. The estimated time of delivery was 25 – 30 minutes and we got our pizzas within that time frame — another plus point.
The delivery guy was nice and friendly — another plus point. Overall, we liked the service and the pizzas were nice and warm just like the commercial promises. My favorite toppings were pineapple and black olive. So yum!
I think we will order from them again. Glad to know there’s one right by our house and which upholds all the good stuff we heard in the commercial.

Dominoes is Dominoes. But the online ordering is a breeze. The drivers prompt and friendly.

. The site itself is pretty cool allowing you to view the pizza that you are building and adjust your preferences for toppings. Once you complete the on line ordering process there is a time line that appears to tell you what the status is at that exact moment.
My pizza’s arrived within 30 minutes hot and exactly as I requested. The driver was friendly and thanked me for my purchase.
