What a wonderful experience with Mary Ann! I’m in my late 50’s and she gave me the perfect haircut that wasn’t dated! She also colored my hair! I walked out feeling great about my new look! Best part besides feeling awesome it was a very good price! Would highly recommend them! Mary Ann also cut my daughters hair and helped her correct a VERY bad color from a very expensive salon down the street! Thank you Mary Ann!

Beauty on the Main is a local beauty salon. Some of the individual hairdressers, asestheticians, and masseurs are really great, others, not so much.
My hair person Kat, is really good at cutting long hair. My side bangs always turn out perfect, which is not easy to do. She also trims up my long layers really nice, and for the job that she does, I feel that $ 25 is appropriate. However, if I just go in for a bang trim that takes less than 5 minutes, I get charged $ 10! This is overpriced Beauty on the Main, and you should consider making it only $ 5. I don’t want to tip when it’s that high, and $ 5 is what most other salons charge.
One downside to this business is that many of the folks aren’t good on the phone. Some are snobby, and a lot of them don’t know how to work the computer system to book you an appointment. One time, I scheduled an appointment over the phone, and they didn’t actually put me in! This resulted in me getting a hair cut by Richard and not someone good at cutting long hair. It was not a good experience. I had to go back and get my hair re-​cut.
I can appreciate that this business tries to be Unilocaler-​friendly by offering a free sample for checking in. However, when I asked for this sample, the girl checking me out seemed unfamiliar with this benefit and struggled to find me a sample.
Overall, tallent of some of the people working here is good, but business organization & management could be improved. I would neither recommend this place or tell people to stay away.

I had a very nice cut and color from Richard! I asked for my eyebrows and lips to be touched up. I could not believe that the two minutes they spent with me was $ 30.00! I questioned the cost and the front desk person said that was the price. I called the next day– no return call. Called again later in day and wax told there was talk about it amongst the managers and all agreed that was the price! They lost this customer!

Do NOT get your eyebrows waxed here. I made a huge mistake by coming here and it looks like I have one eyebrow. ZERO stars.

My grandson can be shy but Donna made him feel so comfortable and did a fantastic job. My grandson was all smiles and very happy thanks to Donna. We will be back again.

My shellac mani with Lindsay turned out flawless! It lasted me a little over two weeks… not a chip, scratch, or even fading. Lindsay was bubbly, friendly, and really worked my cuticles. CND Tropics… so cute for the summer!
Only reason I had to take a star away as that there was some shadiness with scheduling my appointment. I was originally scheduled for 2pm. I received a message the day before my appointment asking if I could come in one hour later at 3pm. By the time I called back they were closed so I left a message saying that I could accommodate them. When I called to confirm later that morning, the receptionist said that they couldn’t see my at 3pm (as if I was the one who asked for the change). She said she had no idea who had called me. So I agreed to come in at 4pm instead. I later listened to the message and it was the very same receptionist who called me to change my appointment. Shady.

I really enjoy going to Beauty on the Main. It is full service with reasonable pricing and outstanding service. Katie is my stylist and nail tech, and Rich and Niki style my husband’s and very picky son’s hair. It is a comfortable place to be, and the entire staff is accommodating and helpful. I highly recommend this salon.

While Renee was applying Shellac polish to my toe nails, another nail tech mentions to her that the Shellac dryer she’s about to use doesn’t work. Um, wouldn’t you have fixed the bulb a week ago when you used the dryer & realized the bulb was out? Very unprofessional like most other technicians there (Renee is the exception). The other nail tech is lucky we were able to use the other dryer which didn’t make me late work for my own Massage clients.

Great Salon! Niki G gave me a great color, cut, and mani-​pedi! I needed a new style and she knew exactly what to give me. I have gotten many compliments on my hair since Niki started styling it, & everyone loves the color! Great prices!
They also have great handmade Jewelry @ affordable prices.

Niki cuts and colors my hair on a regular basis. She does a great job. I highly recommend her talents to anyone that needs their hair done. Thanks again Niki. You rock!

This is a big «yes» recommendation for Karen’s basic facial. My daughters and I found her service to be high quality. Surroundings are very pleasant. Everyone at the salon is extra friendly and very accommodating. We walked out feelling more than happy with the way our skin looked and felt. This lady offers high quality at affordable prices.

Let me start by saying I was a «problem» client! The No Chip manicure I came in with was a pain to remove. I wanted to switch over to the Shellac system they have there. Renee worked like crazy to remove them without damaging my nails. Eventually, we got the junk off, and Katie then finished up and my nails are FLAWLESS! Excellent teamwork! I had a great time there with them and the salon was wonderful. Thanks Renee and Katie! You ladies ROCK! I will definitely refer you!

Renee has been cutting and coloring my hair for a of years now. I always love the results. I have been growing my hair long for a couple of years and the other day I went in with pictures of some hair styles for longer hair. Renee cut my hair just like I wanted– long but with a style. Can’t wait to go back for some color. The one thing I really like about the salon is that it is very unpretentious. It has a very comfortable feel.

Ok, I have to say-​Got the best hair cut by Renee. She also gave a fabulous color treatment on my friend’s hair. It’s the nicest I have seen. The prices are so reasonable and the service is as good as one of those pricey salons. So very happy!

Not only did I get good service — the front desk staff is awesome too. Rarely do you get both in a salon! I dealt with Kirsten and she was so nice and welcoming. I will be back!!!

Renee has been doing my color for a while. She is really great. This place is down to earth with really reasonable prices. Don’t try to leave a tip with your credit or debit card, though — bring cash.
