Brookshire Radiology

Poor customer service, the girls that work here are just talking too loud to each other, patients hearing their conversations. They don’t get their work done because they talk too much which makes us wait longer to get called in for X-​rays. I came here on 9÷4÷15 at 3:50.

I didn’t need am appointment to get my X-​rays, I called but was told to just come in and bring my Doctors orders. Once they told me that, I knew I was gonna be here a while.
I was correct, I arrived at 9 and was out at 1130. The actual X-​rays took only 15 minutes and I think the female technician that assisted me was great, I can’t recall her name. She was sweet and took care of me we’ll cause I was sort of nervous. All this poking and prodding is starting to bother me but it is what it is.
I wish they had magazines or something in the lounge to keep us busy, there is a tv though. Some candy mints in one corner and that’s about it.
Place was in okay condition, semi clean.
Staff was friendly and polite. it’s the long wait that I gave 3 stars for.

It’s 0940… My appointment was at 0900…
There’s a lady sitting across from me, who’s been waiting longer than I have, and she’s getting more tired by the minute.
The waiting room filled up fast since I checked in… A lot of us waiting to be seen, but not nearly enough people being called for their exams.
Upon walking in, you’re asked if you have an appointment and for which service (X-​ray, ultra sound, MRI, DEXA…). Then you’re instructed to sign in on a color-​coded clip board according to which service you’re getting.
Okay… Fast forward just a bit…
My ultrasound tech was really nice (didn’t get her name because she never told me), and eventually the radiologist or tech supervisor who came in was just as nice (again, no name or introduction). They had a teeny tiny misunderstanding regarding my exam, but overall, they were cool.
I was in an apparently new exam room, meaning that it was recently turned into an exam room (previously a storage closet, perhaps???). People kept knocking on the door, which had to remained locked because that was the only means of privacy (no curtains or anything…).
According to my tech, they remain busy from 7am-​7pm, with a little bit of relief around noon time.
My appointment was scheduled right away, and it was very convenient for me, as I was able to choose dates and times exactly without any compromise.
Should all go well, I hope to not return here for some time, no offense to Brookshire Radiology…
Oh, and there are two different radiology offices, both right across the street from each other. If you end up signing in to the wrong office, they’ll direct you to the correct office. True story.
