This place has so much potential, however the heavy set lady is so rude. I called to place a simple order 15 minutes before they closed on a Friday night and she rudely says «we’re closed» and hung up.
On a separate visit I went in to purchase their $ 5 pizza and I sat there waiting for it to bake for 15 minutes or so, when she was ringing me up, she claimed my debit card was being declined and i should call my bank. I told her to try disconnecting her cc terminal so it can reset but this rude biotch insisted it was my card! Whatever it’s just a $ 5 pizza, I was more upset that I waited in there for nothing.
Went to little Caesars and got my darn $ 5 pizza and guess what, debit card worked!

This is purely a customer service review, since I haven’t had the opportunity to eat their food due to their inability to answer their phone.
I work in the area and decided to order delivery since what I’m assuming was one of their workers came and dropped off menus at my store recently. I don’t really eat meat and was pretty stoked to grub on a good veggie pizza, but I’ve been trying to get a hold of them for over an hour and there is no answer.
Seriously, this is totally unprofessional, ESPECIALLY for a «restaurant.» Furthermore, the fact that this place is both a Peruvian and pizza place should have been enough warning for me to not bother, that’s a really sketchy combo, in my opinion!

This is a customer service review. I have not eaten here, due to the failure of their customer service.
They use the Eat24 service on Unilocal to place orders for delivery, as many restaurants do. I placed my order with them and waited. After fifteen minutes, they hadn’t confirmed it, so I requested through the service that they call me. After another ten minutes I called them. They said their delivery driver was out today and they weren’t delivering.
Fair enough — but you needed to tell me that immediately. I ordered lunch. Now I’m a half hour hungrier and lunchless. Don’t wait for your customers to track you down before you tell them you’re not going to serve them.

Their food is not good at all, worst pollo a la brasa ever, el cholito which is also in Downey is WAY better. Don’t even waste your time here. Oh and I believe he is the owner anyway he is very rude I complaint about how my food was cold and he gave me an attitude about it and didn’t even said sorry. Dissapointed of this place.

Please avoid this place, they suck at customer service. I called to order a pizza and the lady did not know there daily special and I then ordered a Large pizza and soda, they then said «we will not deliver that» becuase it was below there dollar amount. I then said whats the dollar amount and she put me on hold and came back with I dont know, but if you order a specialty pizza we can deliver. Let this place go out of business so we can get a better restaurant in the community.

Read the reviews on Unilocal.Had to try the Lomo Saltado Pizza, OMG!!! One of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. I can’t wait to go eat there again. Great little spot to grab an excellent Peruvian dish /​pizza.

This is the second time I have ordered delivery from them through Eat 24, and I have no complaints.
The delivery is prompt, and they usually get here before the ETA.
Both ladies that have delivered on both occasions have been friendly and outgoing.
Both times I have ordered the Pollo Saltado. It is one of the best I have had! The chicken is so juicy, the fries are perfect, not too greasy, and the rice is cooked to perfection.
I also ordered the whole chicken a la brasa. It comes with a salad and a large side of French fries. I would take that chicken over El Pollo Loco’s any day!
My only complaint was that their aji sauce was a little watered down today compared to the last time.
I HIGHLY recommend ordering from them if you’re craving Peruvian. Next time I order, I will have to go for the Lomo Saltado pizza.

If you are a FAN of Peruvian food then this place is a damn MUST. Lomo saltado PIZZA?! The hell?! BOMB! Hands down… delish and you will NOT FIND IT ANYWHERE ELSE! You have to come through and try it.

Used the Eat24 app to order from this place tonight, I ordered lomo saltado, ¼ Peruvian chicken with salad on the side and a pepperoni pizza (got upgraded to meat lovers). I ordered for delivery, they called to confirm and came delivered in a timely manner. Everything is so good and I’m happy with my order! Will definitely order from here again! Was amazing!

The lomo saltado is very good. I have had it many times and usually its great. Lately they have not been cooking the fries long enough and they taste nasty. Only once the beef was not cooked enough either. The beef is of good quality, seems fresh and the chef does a good job trimming the fat off the cuts of beef. Thats important to me.
I asked them to cook it a little bit more and its been great. I highly recommend the lomo saltado.

OK, this place is basically a new restaurant. A Peruvian joint that I know, love, and visit every week has brought their awesome sazón and food to a new offering of Peruvian food along with a fusion of Lomo Saltado PiZZA!!!
Pizza was good, they use the traditional ovens, not that heat conveyer crap! Chicken was great… I’ll be back for more!

He delivers. Really, he does! Plus, it also says so underneath their logo lol.
Anyway, there’s actually a ton of food to order from this joint! I’m talking pizzas, burgers, burritos, tacos, french fries, soda, and hot wings. You’re ASKING for upset stomach, heartburn and indigestion by the time you’re done with your meal. But you know what? Screw it, you already knew that before you made that order!
Prices at Pizza Man are very reasonable. I’d recommend either getting your food delivered, or just picking it up to go. I sat inside to eat my meal and was sweating up a storm while I eat by my bad self.

I’m well aware that the place is called pizza man… BUT…tacos are worth Unilocaling about!
Gotta admit, I was buying food at a place near by. Thought I’d give this local business some love and bought just 2 asada tacos. Best last minute decision I’ve had lately. Meat was flavorful, tortillas nice and soft, and amazing red salsa. Will def be back soon.

HORRIBLE!!! The quality of food here is atrocious! Everything was under cooked! The ingredients were very low quality. The fries… How the hell do you mess up fries??? I was so disappointed with «The Pizza Man» what a joke!
I know it’s a low end pizza joint, but damn! You can have SOME pride in the preparation of the food you’re trying to sell!
Never again, never again…
