I’m not sure how you can run a business and not open the doors or set up on time. The door was locked at 8AM on Saturday… we waited for 5 minutes but they never opened. There is also no hours on the door; however, the Internet listed 8am as their open time on Saturday. Especially for a place that focuses on juices and healthy drinks… many healthy people like to be up early and start their morning routine or workout… so opening late doesn’t seem like a good way to go for the business.

This place is great! The interior is very cozy. I didn’t try the food, so can only comment on the juices/smoothies. I tried three of the smoothies(berry, green genie and one more. Colorado Summit maybe?) and all three were delicious! I also tried two of the Hydrator juices. The Pink and Watermelon. I would by cases of the Watermelon if I could! I feel like you could pick this place up and drop it in a beach town in southern California and it would be packed all the time. The prices are a little high, but the quality, freshness and overall healthiness is worth it.

This place is very pretentious and pricey. That being said, I had a pre made wrap(last one of the day even though it was 12:45) and it was very good.

Wonderful warmly-lit fresh design that is modern and not, as you might expect, hippie — in a great location in the center of town. Love the natural wood bar counter, All organic, extremely high quality food and cold pressed juices that are expensive(even though crap food is way more expensive in the long run) — well worth it since you won’t be able to finish something like this(nutritionally dense but not thick like a smoothie) in one sitting. I kept mine(lemony greens & cucumber & ginger) going a few days. And most of us would not be able to make cold pressed drinks on our own due to the machinery needed. Also, they only use special alkaline water. Bring your glass bottle back for a $ 1 discount next time. We snacked on house-made(well, everything is house-made) savory kale chips while the owner assembled our wraps, and this is nothing like a drippy Sheetz wrap. The wrap itself is rich dehydrated bread. My spouse got the lemon hummus wrap, and I loved mine with brazil nut feta, apples, and cranberries. I did not eat for the rest of the day, and I don’t have a shy appetite. Owner is very friendly and knowledgeable and willing to share his knowledge. A lot of their food is delivered to various health food stores and markets within a 60-mile radius. Over the door, it reads, «Animal Lovers Welcome.» Aww, sweet! Lots of classes are going on here too, it seems. We stop in whenever we are passing through.

I am giving the place 2 stars and I wanted to love it! I believe they will get better with time and I will update my review. For now, the food was fair, but they also added oil on all sandwiches which were pre made and the price was too high for what you get. The prepared juice was unremarkable. Once again, I will go back soon, because the place is really nice and looks like a cool place to hang out. I am hoping they will get better with time and become more competitive.

I have been a raw foodist since 2009, traveling all over the world to find the best and most exotic live foods. In this historical town of Doylestown Pennsylvania, there is a Pharmacist, who has become Raw Vegan! He has opened up a Juice Bar to «Let Food Be Thy Medicine». Even more amazing is his presence. There is transference of energy«invisible particles» between mushrooms, even between mushrooms and humans, which is why mushrooms grow along busy trails in the Forrest, to exchange information. While sitting with the Doc, I felt his beautiful energy healing me, and his wheatgrass is the best in the world– Sweet and Fresh. His«Green Juice» is in old medicine bottles and some have LIVE«SPROUTS» in them, which is the most potent form of energy in the world! I wish there was a way to give the Doc more than five stars. I made a Youtube, and my channel name is «Kelly Granite» subscribe to be inspired to feel the best you ever have on a LIVEFOODDIET! And play the interview with the DOC! Click link– Love Kelly Granite

My biggest issue with this place is that they have never made juice to order when I am there. They were out of kale. A juicing place out of kale? I’m just not comfortable having to spend $ 8 – 10 on a juice that has been sitting out in the cold case… I expect to be able to get the freshest juice possible if I am going to take my time and money and stop at a juice bar. Please show customers how you make your juice!

I am giving 3 stars but I won’t be back. It’s simply too expensive. The cheapest thing on the menu is $ 8 for a little container of «fresh» juice. I ordered one with apple, pear, kale, mint, etc and the girl got it from the fridge. I am guessing it was pressed that morning(?) but not sure. There is plenty of space and chairs and there is free Wifi, which makes it a good spot to work or meet people, but I would probably need to bring some«solid» food in with me :) Most other drinks average $ 10 for a 14 – 16 oz. drink… it’s just not sustainable unless you’re moneybags.

More like 2.5. I want to like this place My Kiwi, pear, carrot, wheat grass juice drink was good… just not $ 12 good. I get that its Doylestown and«healthy», but that sort of price point precludes repeat business. Ditch the corny lab coats

My wife and I are weekend regulars at this unique gem. The juices and food are incredibly fresh. The atmosphere is eclectic and well appointed. My only drawback to giving this place 5 stars is that there is no consistency in the menu. One can fall in love with a particular item one week, eagerly anticipating it the following, and it won’t be available. I’m certain much of this has to do with what produce is available to him. But it does lend to a little frustration on my part from time to time.

Got the berry smoothie from here today– cost me $ 10 and it wasn’t anything special. It can easily be made in someone’s home kitchen with the same ingredients for cheaper. $ 10 is a bit excessive for any kind of smoothie(healthy or not). Also– the vibe was a little uncomfortable in there– can’t really explain it

Another chance to eat at «Doctor Baker’s office» so to speak and we weren’t disappointed. This time I took along two clients who happen to be Registered Dietitians in order to gauge their opinion of what I already believe to be some of tastiest and healthiest food found in the capital of Bucks county. To save the suspense, they fell absolutely in love with the place and its healthy menu. Equally impressive was the care and shared knowledge by the proprietor, Angelo who was trained as a Pharmacists. Lucky for us he traded in his synthetic lab coat for an all natural one! We enjoyed the lemon humus wrap, the cran-nut salad and lemon alkaline water which just makes you feel like healthy from the first sip. The atmosphere is laid back and roomy with unique seating that just invites you to stay. The pricing is slightly more(maybe a dollar or two) compared to what you would pay for a hoagie or sandwich some place nearby, but you have to ask yourself if it was worth it when you factor your cost to your health. I forgot to ask if they can cater as I think I’m going to start serving this at my lunch meetings. Check it out.

I go here often because of the convenience, and everything I’ve had tastes really good. I typically stick to only a few items on the menu. The price is out of this world, but I am willing to pay because my health is worth it. The menu is HUGE and awesome, anything you could ever want. Unfortunately, they’re only serving about 1⁄8 of what’s on the menu at any given time. Rarely will they make me a juice to order and I have no idea what’s so hard about that. So I’m forced to choose a juice that’s been sitting in the fridge for God knows how long. I typically just get the same smoothie every time I go. The staff is all really nice, but there seems to be a major turn around amongst them. My suggestion: if you can’t serve it to me, don’t put it on the menu!!!

Awesomely fresh. I had the Tex Mex wrap in a collard leaf and it was super tasty and a green juice. It’s pricey(hence not 5 stars) but I’d definitely come here again to treat myself.

This is the type of place you just want to hang out at – unfortunately it is GROSSLY overpriced. Small juice, coffee and a small smoothie brought our bill to nearly $ 30! Staff is wonderful, atmosphere is comfortable but who can justify that price tag? Doubt I’ll be back, but I wish I could because the drinks are delicious!

When Doc Bakers first opened, I knew I had to haul myself over there immediately. If there’s anything I really love, it’s radical, new healthy foods. After befriending things like nutritional yeast, brussel sprouts, and hemp in my own cooking, I wanted to see what other cooks were doing with similar ingredients. Now, I knew Doc’s in both his locations, but I have to say — the new one is marvelous, so I’ll focus on that one. The restaurant itself is beautiful. You know immediately what sort of food you will be eating from the décor around the room. Fruit hanging everywhere, green-themed furniture, and Blentec’s sitting on an environmental countertop would be the hints. Doc did a wonderful job with his new space. The food — wonderful. HOWEVER be wanted that this is not a place where you go to «start» wanting to like really clean/healthy food. The items on this menu are delicious, but more so to a seasoned palate. There are some items on the menu(mostly the smoothies) that are everyone-friendly. My favorite smoothie there is the Chocolate or Vanilla Mound«milkshake.» HOLYMAMA. This tastes like a rich, luxurious, silky shake. The almond butter and other sources of healthy fats make this shake a cannot-miss on this menu. I eat it almost every time. The green smoothies are also refreshing and sweet, but again, beware if you haven’t ever out greens into a smoothie… contrary to what everyone says, YES you can tell it’s there… but the taste is NOT bad at all. I love all the wraps, especially the sweet greek. My least favorite is the Mexican one because it is VERY spicy! If it were less intense, I would eat it more. I also love the raw chocolate mousse and the raw donut holes. The donut holes are one of the best items in their store. There are so dense and filling that one hole is perfect for a little snack and the taste is absolutely wonderful. Dates never tasted so good. A couple warnings: YES the food is VERY expensive. As with everything, consume Doc’s in moderation for the sake of your wallet. Also, the food takes a while to get to you once you order. They have not seemed to master the art of efficiency yet… but maybe that’s the point, huh? Slowing down to enjoy good?

This place is the real/raw/vegan/fresh deal. Great to finally have an actual healthy alternative in Doylestown. Great mix of hummus style spreads(jalapeño hummus and walnut ones were incredible). Juice and smoothie menus are extensive with great varieties. Workers are extremely knowledgable and helpful

Ok I’ve gotten fresh pressed juice at a number of other juice bars so I’m very familiar with what is involved in making them. That being said, I ordered a juice here and I waited for over 20 minutes for them to make my drink. It wasn’t even crowded or busy. The person making my drink had to look up how to make it, and seemed completely lost. I’m not sure if they had run out of ingredients and had to go get them at a local market, but they should’ve made it clear that they weren’t going to be able to make a drink in less than 20 minutes. After 15 minutes of waiting I politely asked if it was going to be ready soon because I had to pick up a friend at the doctor. They replied«soon». Fast forward ten minutes later and my drink finally appears… then they told me that I should chill the drink before I had it! Are you serious?! They didn’t even say sorry it took so long… The drink itself was just ok compared to other similar juices I’ve had. It’s a shame because the idea of this place is great. I want to try going again, but it won’t be until I have a free morning or afternoon. I can’t get stuck in there waiting for a lifetime. I’m sure this isn’t the experience that everyone has there or it wouldn’t get so many high reviews. Hopefully this was just a really off day.

I’m so glad they moved to their present location. The room is beautiful. The whole ambience is perfect. The menu is now laid out on the bar, nice and big, and they’ve added more items. I highly recommend the Chocolate Mound for a delicious almond protein shake :) Or, of course, their Kombucha out of the tap, which is quite literally, second to none. All of the ingredients are super fresh, plant based, and amazing. They get how important food is and that’s why I love them. Anytime I drive through Doylestown, I make it a point to stop at Doc Bakers. If you do as well, you will be happy you did.

I am still glowing from my trip to Doc Bakers. went in for lunch with a friend, came out with a few of their fresh juices. wow. quality like this does come at a price but it is worth the splurge. first, walk in to a sweeping open space with careful details. the proprieters are a knowledgeable pair who chatted about their food and options. my friend and I had juices and the hummus plate. jalapeño hummus ROCKS! overall a refreshing meal capped off by a cacao treat(to die for rich and tasty). I am health conscious and read A LOT of the nutritional literature. the owners clearly put a ton of thought and effort into their products. the nice thing was i could talk to them without feeling like an unhealthy slob. some juice bars can be over the top intimidating. the cost, though, I think is proportional. this will be a «once in a while» well deserved treat for me but I encourage anyone who even is considering juicing to stop in. this place is quite awesome!

Going to add another 5-star to Doc Bakers Farmulations’ glowing Unilocal review list! First off, the staff is totally cool and skinny. That’s a good sign. The interior is very spacious and comfortable. They cold press the juice in the basement, and told me they are going to open that space up so that you can see the process live! They have free wifi, and nice wooden tables so it’s a great place to do some work, feel healthy, and look cool. They have a lot of greens that you can mix into your creations, so you can really mix it up no pun intended. The menu is varied, and I enjoyed their coffees and teas. The organic teas, in particular, are better than Starbucks’ next door.

The new Doc Bakers location has finally opened and it is a lovely, spacious restaurant. There are tall chairs at the bar, a large wooden table at the front, and a few two and three person tables all around the perimeter of the restaurant. This spot is more like a café in that when you arrive here, you order first, then sit down, or take it your order go. On my first visit to the new location, I ordered a cold-pressed juice and a salad and sat down with my husband and a friend from Doylestown. The cold-pressed juice was full of green vegetables, ginger, dandelion and some other healthy stuff and it was perfect. The juices now come out of the fridge pre-made, which was a slight disappointment, but I was assured that they retained all their health benefits because of the cold-press procedure. My Sweet Greek salad was quite good as well. I really enjoyed the nut-based cheese crumbles and the chopped figs. Every time I’ve visited Doc Bakers, I’ve seen the owner. He’s very down to earth and always asks if everything is okay. This has got to be one of the healthiest restaurants I’ve ever been too in the Philadelphia suburbs and I mean that as a very high compliment.

It’s Doc Bakers in a new space you want to spend time in. The food is all the same from the old location. I had all my old favorites: the Mexican wrap(their best item), the chocolate-banana almond milk shake(now called the chocolate mound) and the chocolate pudding and they were all great. Doc Baker’s is well worth the schlep to Doylestown. Setting a goal of trying it would be a great new year’s resolution for 2014!
