We stopped in Doylestown after visiting a friend in the hospital on Memorial Day. Just about every other restaurant in town was either closed, closing or only doing take out. So we stopped here, and it was a good thing. We started with fried pickles — slightly odd seasonings, but still pretty good. Next was a burger was wonderful and the fries were really good. The other dish was their roast beef dip that was also terrific with a side of sweet potato fries that were hard to stop eating.

Always great. Staff and owners are awesome. Wish I got in there more. Get the pickles!

Pretty bad experience. Let’s start with the service, or the lack there of. As we were seated the waiter greeted our table within a reasonable amount of time, within 3 minutes, we asked for water as we looked over the menu which were delivered within a couple of minutes(although it tasted as if he scooped it from the toilet) I don’t understand why waiters don’t ask if you want tap water or bottled when you ask for water, it’s an up sell and your not upset when the tap water taste like sewage. A couple of minutes later we placed our order, me the ruben and my wife ordered the«tuna» burger. Here is where the waiter disappeared, he walked past our table every 2 minutes without even looking over, we literally had to hang out of our booth to get his attention to order a beer. Our food was delivered by who looked to be an owner(dressed casually in jeans and a button up, but not in the black uniform like the rest of the staff) my Ruben had nothing spectacular about it, the meat was a little dry and stringy, the kraut was pretty much flavorless and the thousand islands dressing had no flavor or acidity(if you have a buttery rich sandwich you need acid to cut though it) and there was no acid at all. My wife’s tuna burger was disgusting, she ordered it rare and it was mid well, it had the texture of a rubber ball and the tuna tasted old. My wife and I have been together 20 years and I have never seen her send something back but we needed to once again hang out of our booth to get the owners attention(because our waiter was non existent) to send back the tuna burger, she ordered a burger instead and it was fine, nothing spectacular. I’d skip this place!

Let’s start with the positives — the flatbreads were good, the servers were attentive and willing to help out tables that weren’t theirs, and the décor was nice. Sadly, our experience today just wasn’t that great. I would recommend avoiding the kids meals all-together. The chicken fingers were so dry that they were inedible … The fries were hot, but so oily and limp that I’m almost certain that they refried old fries(see picture). The Mac and cheese was undercooked(which is not a good idea when on the kids menu). Our server was not very good(the other servers were really nice and helpful though). She did not know several basic things. — Price of kids menu items: «let me check»(and she still got it wrong and charged us more than what she quoted us). — What are the seasonal vegetables for the risotto: «let me check» — Lemon wedges: forgot the first time and after being reminded, walked by our table twice with them in hand trying to find us: «there you are» when she finally did. — She does say«sorry» a lot, but to the point where it’s just a word that is said with no real meaning behind it. Overall, we probably won’t be going back, but if we do, it will be for the Philly flatbread with provolone.

This was our first visit it won’t be our last! We made some excellent choices crab cake appetizer is a winner. The eggs bayou was wonderful with the andouille, perfectly cooked eggs and nice salad accompaniment. Definitely get the buffalo shrimp app and the hush puppies with apple jalapeño jam they are both great!

I hosted a bridal shower here for my sister and can’t recommend it enough. Everything went very smoothly with coordinating and planning the menu. The service was excellent and the guests all raved about how amazing the food was. Thank you to Jason and everyone at MOM’s for making me look like a star when I actually did very little work beyond picking the best place. I’ve also been for brunch as a regular diner and loved that as well. This has become my top recommendation in the Doylestown area. Go check it out!

A little bit misleading. The dollar sign should be at $$$ not $$. $ 15 for a burger, really?

I came here for cocktails for the first time and I thought the bar tenders were great and beer selection was good so I came back for dinner. On my second visit service was prompt, we went with crab dip appetizer which was ok, and the flatbreads. After I got the check I thought the place was overpriced for the quality .Our waitress was ok but I think she could have been way better for the money this place charges. Overall I won’t be coming back, other than maybe for drinks. And for such an amount of money their bathroom is a really tiny dirty space right near the kitchen, so I was truly disappointed and even grossed out.

Stopped in the bar for some pub fare and some good beer. The food was excellent as was the beer. I had the chili with hominy and I could have eaten another bowl!(not really, there was plenty) Delicious

My family and I stopped in for the first time as we are moving to the area in a couple of months and thought we would check out MOMS. Initial perception, cool looking place, historic building with brick and wood floors. Lots of options for seating and the bar was completely separate. Menu was somewhat limited but there were options for all. We ordered fried pickles to start, very tasty but a bit skimpy on the amount served. The beer menu was unique and had some specialty beers unknown to us, we tried several, some were really good, others not so much, not cheap… My wife had the Thanksgiving sandwich, she absolutely loved it! The fresh cut fries were spot on! 3 of us had burgers, asked for them to be medium-rare, big disappointment as none were even close to medium– all were well done/charred. If you are going to advertise burgers, please learn how to cook them right. Will probably stop back again once we move to give it another chance, just will not order a burger…

Have you ever had fish taco’s where the fish looks like potatoes and tastes like them too? If not, you can get them here. Have you ever had a bbq flat bread so dry you have to beg the bar tender for barbecue sauce, only to be charged .50 extra for it on your bill? Well you can get that here too. We’ve been here before and the food was better so maybe we ordered poorly. The only thing edible today was fried pickles and they were awesome. Service was unenthusiastic to say the least. We had to go to mcdonalds to get something satisfying to eat after. McDonald’s drive thru service out shined the bar tender by far.

Unfortunately it’s the painfully slow service that will probably keep us from returning. Again, slow night, friendly server, but SLOW service. So bad, we couldn’t even order dessert. We timed it: From our asking for a dessert menu, to finally being asked what we wanted for dessert took 21 minutes. Got the check, took another 7 minutes for the check to be taken.(The rest of my party left to go to Nina’s for dessert) Then another 6 minutes for the credit card to be returned. I was standing with my coat on watching the server walk around the back part of the restaurant, while I was waiting to get out of there. So not right. Too bad, the food is consistently wonderful.

Solid local bar with a large craft beer selection, pretty good food, and an ambiance for whatever you’re looking for. It’s located in the heart of downtown Doylestown and you’d think it’s a small restaurant/bar. When you walk in, there’s a narrow bar in front of you, a larger, separate dining area to the left, and then some additional high-tops back behind the bar. The front bar is usually pretty packed, but it’s easy to do so because it’s extremely tight in that area — with people sitting on the stools and standing at the wall, there’s barely enough room for you to walk by. However, there’s an extremely large upstairs that’s open, with a huge bar and some tables. Typically, that’s where the music is played and gets a bit rowdy compared to the downstairs, more family-friendly type of atmosphere. I’ve been to MOMs a bunch and it’s probably one of my go-to spots in Doylestown(can’t say favorite because I haven’t been to that many). Their craft beer selection is fantastic and I believe it changes fairly regularly/seasonally. The service is normal — pretty standard for a bar of their size and capacity — just stand politely at the bar and someone will serve you soon. Their farmer flatbread is pretty tasty. I wish they had more veggie flatbread options, but this one is a unique combination with goat cheese, mushrooms and onions. It didn’t have much sauce, but surprisingly wasn’t too dry(maybe because I was also drinking some beer with it). I also got their fries with a side of honey mustard, and they’ you’re standard crispy french fries. Overall, a solid place, and a place I’ll continue to go to when I’m in the area. Keep up the quality and consistency, and you’ll have repeat customers.

Place has great food but it does get pricey. Menu is small and they change it up daily. Selection of beer is great. Nice place for a dinner date… at night a great crowd forms at the bar so it’s also a good place to hang out for the night.

Great chicken dinner and bread pudding. Service is friendly and atmosphere nicely pubby. Chicken finger kids menu item was excellent and my companions meat love was apparently equally satisfying. We will be back. Potential for 5 if there is consistency.

Great spot in the heart of Doylestown. It can be tough to pick a restaurant there because there are a ton of options, but M.O.M.‘s is always a go to for me. They have great fried pickles and a decent beer list. I would recommend a beer infused margarita if you get the chance, they are much better than the typical coronarita. I also suggest their brunch where they provide you with a complementary mason jar full of bacon!!! Also the service was great. We must have had about half the staff stop by to see if we needed anything. Beware though, this is not a sandwich and fries type of bar!

Beer selection is pretty solid. Everything else is mediocre. Selection on the backbar is very disappointing. My next time in I will try one of their cocktails. For food, we had the Squash Soup which was exceptional, gumbo, a salad, and spring rolls. Pretty average on all the rest. I believe what stuck out in our minds the most was that we were seated in the back underneath a huge light fixture hanging from the ceiling. In the bottom of the fixture were dead insects, one of which was most definitely a cock roach. So, the entire time we had to be reminded of this. Kind of gross. And distracting. And starts the mind to wondering how well they actually clean the place. I should probably mention the service – top notch.

Holy Jesus! The Alabama White wings were worth the 5 stars alone. Made with horseradish and are the best non-buffalo wings I’ve had. Great service and the steak salad was also amazing.
