I went here a few weeks ago for the first time to get my hair cut. The hair cut was fine — nothing to get excited over. Prices are pretty high. What really made me mad was that they do not allow you to add a tip onto your credit card. They told me they only accept cash for tips and directed me to the atm they have in their lobby. No doubt they make a profit from that. They are lucky my friend had cash on her otherwise my stylist would not have received a tip. I will not return here.

I went here a few weeks ago to get a haircut. Emily did a great job and the price was quite reasonable. I thought I found my new salon and was thrilled that it was so close to home. So – I went back this week for a touch up. I also had my hair«blown out»(dried). I was kind of shocked at the $ 86 price tag. I went home and looked at prices on their website and saw that I was probably charged $ 46 for a «blow out»!!! I don’t have long hair and it’s just DRYING the hair, which really should be included! Anyway, I called and found out that the touch up and blowout was $ 61 and the remainder was for extra color because I have very thick hair. My usual salon is in Glen Mills and is a first rate salon/spa and even THEY don’t charge extra for my color, which I usually require. Bummer. Salon search again.

This review is for waxing services only. I couldn’t get into the city and needed a quick body wax job done. I managed to pretty easily schedule at this salon, which is close to my house. I was greeted after the receptionists got off the phone(the wait didn’t bother me; they obviously have to answer the phones) and then directed to sit in the little waiting area at the front. I was there a while, but I think the appointment started only 5 – 10 minutes late. I honestly don’t get too upset about that sort of thing, especially when I don’t have anywhere to be afterwards. As far as friendliness, I’d give the staff and my waxer(can’t remember her name, unfortunately) 4 stars, but obviously, that’s not the only thing that matters in this review. The actual process was fine and relatively quick, but I didn’t realize until I got home that she didn’t actually get the wax off me. Like, I had to shower when I got home to remove it all. Ugh. And on top of that, it was expensive, because there are evidently no inexpensive, effective, and safe places in the ‘burbs to get this sort of thing done. Bummer. I will say that the salon is much bigger and nicer than I expected, and it looked like they were doing nice things for the customers’ hair, so I’d consider going back to try out those services.

Okay, I may have finally found a decently priced, quality hair salon in my neighborhood! Walked right in on a Tuesday afternoon(no appt. but they took me right away). Sammi really took her time talking about my hair, how I style it, etc. She was quick but thorough, and very sweet! At $ 37, I was very happy with my cut and style. They also do mani/pedis, massages, facials, waxing, you name it. Everything was clean and attractive. I’ll definitely be back.
