An abomination. Don’t usually eat here but my son wanted a cheese burger. Drive-thru was extremely slow — when I pull up to window there are 4 lazy ass employees standing around running their yappers — reminded me of the Rez back home. Not an ounce of urgency. Burger was cold. Absolutely pathetic that I just paid for that level of food and service. EADFDAU

There were 6 cars ahead of me when I pulled in. I’ve now been waiting in the drive thru line 30 minutes. And there are still 3 cars ahead of me. Ridiculous wait time. There goes my lunch break.

Solid restaurant, good staff, reasonable wait. Cruised in late night and had a fried food fest. The fish sandwich was ordered in a lark and I enjoyed it. The onion rings were a bit over fried. Maybe the heat was too high. Standard WhatABurger and would go again if nearby.

Let me begin by stating that I really like Whataburger. They make a solid product, sell at a reasonable price, and they’re open late. All plusses. Compared to other outlets, this one is pretty darned good! I’ve been by twice and a) the service has been reasonably fast, and b) the bathroom was clean. Thanks for making those patty melts guys! This place gets 4 stars on the ‘CTJ Scale’, as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a meal here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK being seen eating here by Mother Mary. 3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus’ Dad. 2 out of 5 stars: Come-to-the-Apostles good. Meh. Wouldn’t have my last supper here. 1 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Nobody good. I wouldn’t have my penultimate supper here, either.

We are currently going on 25 minutes waiting for our food but it’s all good. It’s a Friday night, everyone is wanting some whataburger. As I’m sitting here, the staff is up on their feet, & working hard. It’s nice seeing them doing their best, it makes the wait a little better. They could use a little more hands but it’s okay. Can’t wait to get my burger! I am starving.

I don’t usually review fast food restaurants, but this Whataburger has earned it. By far, the longest I’ve ever waited for a burger and fries … 45 minutes. Last time I only had to wait 30. Ridiculous. And the order was wrong.

I go to Whataburger in dripping springs at least 3 times a month. Every time I go, the staff is friendly and always polite. I have never gotten a bad meal from there. The only negative thing I can say is sometimes the wait in the drive thru is a bit long, but other that, it’s good. I would recommend it to anyone.

Whataburger overall gets 5 stars. This location, not so much. Ordered 2 meals and both burgers were screwed up. Also, our tray was given to another table. The kids working here don’t pay attention, nor give a shit.

18 minutes from the time I ordered to the time I got my food in the drive-thru and NOAPOLOGY! Fries tasted as if they had been under a heat lamp for a couple of hours.

I love whataburger! All whataburgers! But this one is especially amazing. Customer service is though the roof. Especially Linda! She always remembers me and greets me whether she’s the one helping me or not. I’ve never seen her remotely close to being anything other than extremely friendly and cheerful! Always asks about my work and how I’m doing. She makes me feel at home! In addition Iv never had to wait long for my food and it’s always delicious!

Linda is amazing! She made sure my special request order was done right. She was downright cherry and lovely, even at 7am! Someone give this lady a raise!

We love whataburger and go there weekly. They do mess up our order sometimes but they are always friendly and fix it with no problem. The food is always hot and fresh.

Ask for extra ice to see if you can get the hamburger any colder. Call corporate office and its your fault according to customer service. Remember when whataburger use to be good anywhere you went nowdays it rates low…

For fast food, I gotta say that this was pretty dang good! I asked for light mustard because my fiancé told me that when he went, his burger was just drenched in the stuff. The wait was a little long, but my burger was amazing and my fries were pippin’ hot. The burger patty reminded me of a Seattle fave of mine and everyone in Seattle– Dick’s. It was flat and really fresh. I also dug the spicy ketchup. Good stuff.

It’s a standard Whataburger location. Same menu, same food as any other Whataburger. There’s something to be said for consistency.

DATE: 4÷6÷2013 I don’t usually review fast food restaurants, but I decided to just this once because I’m bored. So parking is pretty hard to find, mostly because it’s next to an H-E-B, and anybody in Dripping Springs doesn’t want to go all the way in Austin for groceries. We found parking and entered the restaurant. Old Whataburger paintings were on the wall, it was cleaned, and smelled like, well, a fast food restaurant. Ordered the #10(WhataChikn sandwich), got our drinks, and our ticket to place on our table. I remember one time here I got root beer, and something happened to the root beer, but got it replaced. Hey, mistakes happen. Waiters were happy, friendly, and funny. I asked for ketchup and he replied, ”Of course, we have gallons of it!”. Got my chicken sandwich, a note is that the buns are brown instead of white like on the hamburgers. Even with the brown buns, the chicken sandwich was great. Fries were a little over salted though. There are free refills for drinks, so before you leave, get a refill and bring your drink home. PROS: Good food, friendly service, free refills CONS: Drink mistakes, busy for lunch sometimes, over salted fries OVERALL: 4/5, if you hate McDonald’s, but want a burger, come on down.

As far as the food, this Whataburger is about average when compared to other fast food joints. Service is a little slow and the drive-thru line can get insanely long! So why am I giving it 4 stars? Customer service. I drove through the other morning for some breakfast for my husband and I. As I drove up to pay I realized that I had forgotten my wallet. I told the girl to cancel my order due to this. A manager came to the window and said they’d fill my order and that I could come back later that day to pay. I was shocked! When I came back in just a couple of hours, he thanked me! I just don’t know many places(fast food especially) that are going to let you leave without paying for your food!

After recent events I’ve gotta reward another star to the Whataburger in Dripping Springs. Little Rooster loves his single pancake with two butters, bacon piece, and one syrup tub. No more, no less. This proved a successful reward for his recent potty training. I did it; we all did it. But, when you have to do it to a tiny person, you pick what they love. Take for instance the usual counter guy Pedro. He makes ordering an event! I have to chase the boy thru the line straight to the counter. Its that important, a whole lot of words that equates to his above mentioned order. He gets one pancake and bacon in there somewhere. Ol’ Rooster has been hitting the biscuit and gravy train, substituting the chorizo breakfast on a bun with grilled onions a few times in between. Burgers are above average compared to the other chain outlets in the area. The make it to order! I’m usually a cheese and grilled jalapeño with no lettuce kind of guy. And thank the fast food gods for onion rings, something McDonalds hasn’t even ventured into. A cinnamon roll in the morning on the way to work completes a summary of my dining pleasures. The management team and the staff at MY Whataburger is phenomenal. Small town friendly and they take the time to care for regular customers, especially the boy. Sure, I rather be dining at some fancy place but in the real world of a three year old, work schedules, and ranch chores this Whataburger has found its home in my routine.
