First time visiting the today. We thought it was awesome! I had the TNT Super dog .(hot dog, pastrami, chili, cheese, French fries and grilled onions… I decided against the optional fried egg) All Wrapped in a giant Tortilla. It was delicious! The chili and pastrami were good quality. Mom had the picnic dog and the potato salad was tasty. Sister had the Reuben dog. All were delicious. The service was great. As we were first timers she took the time to explain the menu to us and provided great friendly Service. We dined on the patio which was nice. They also serve beer and wine. We will definitely go back and try other hot dogs and also a burger.

This place used to be awesome years ago when it was just a hot dog place with veggie options. Maybe it’s a new owner now but they are trying to have SO many things on their menu that I can’t believe they are more than mediocre at any of them. They’ve also now tried to turn it into a «dine in» experience but seating is fold up tables and items are still served in plastic baskets just $ 2 more than before. Trash was littering the patio as well as stagnant bowls of water for dogs on the floor. Ordered the green monster with a veggie dog, they served it with a real hot dog. Luckily I’ve been a vegetarian long enough to confirm with the waiter before I took a bite. He hadnt even checked with the cook before bringing it out. It then took 20 minutes for them to gather a veggie dog which I assume was frozen since it was cold and mushy when I got it. At least they didn’t argue with me about comping the dog. Never coming back! Just go to DogHause instead.

Went there for lunch. The menu had changed so much. This was the place to get a gourmet dog, now they have added some much not hot dog related! The dog has taken the back seat to pancakes, omelets and burgers! I got a LA Street dog… the worst… the hotdogs was so over cooked as were the onions and peppers. These guys need to go back to making the hot dog the focus. If I want pancakes and omelets, I will go to IHOP, Dennys or Norms! Why can you do a proper LA Street dog when your near the same area… then charge $ 7.00 for it in Duarte is NUTS!

This is probably one of the worst places I’ve eaten at. The hot dogs in the TNT were rubbery and overcooked as well as in the rueben sandwich which was so disappointing as I was really looking forward to the food. My stomach started hurting after 3 bites. The kimchi fries were just as bad super soggy sweet potato fries and so much nasty mayo dressing on top. The diet pepsi was even flat. When we first got there the waitress was very friendly but after that we received horrible service and straws thrown on the table and had to go inside to get our check. We shouldn’t have even left $ 2 and I’m a bartender myself. I honestly don’t know why all these people are saying it’s so good maybe we just had the off crew. Needless to say I will not be coming back or recommending to anyone.

This was my first time trying the food and I had really high hopes for this establishment just upon reading all the great reviews. I was excited to satisfy my appetite with the«TNT dog», «Rueben» and the«Kimchi fries.» We were initially received with great attentive service but once our order was placed it was all down hill from there. The hotdogs in both the«TNT» and«Rueben» were both horrifically over cooked to a point that they were as chewy and tough as octopus. The Kimchi fries were good except for the fact the they didn’t drizzle the mayo, they globed the mayo over the fries and it completely took away from the Kimchi flavor. Then they forgot about my Pepsi but once I did get it the flavor was not Pepsi or carbonated. I sat there for about 15 – 20 minutes waiting to get my check which never came. Yet a table that was a table over from me was tended to 6TIMES!!! I eventually decided it was never going to come so I walked over to the register to pay. I was simply DISAPPOINTED to the point in which I will definitely not be returning or recommending this to anyone.

Outstanding Reubens dog! First thing I noticed when I walked in was a customer drinking a Bundaberg ginger beer and I knew this place was going to be good! WAY more on the menu than just dogs, although when I read the Reuben description I knew that was the one! I’m coming back for more.

I just picked up the Chinese chicken salad for lunch. I know, this isn’t their speciality but I feel I should comment. The chicken itself was decent however the salad was almost all romaine and iceberg– the ratio was definitely off — and they left out three ingredients(green onions, almonds, and sesame seeds). I just paid $ 10 for half my salad. I was debating on giving it two stars because I don’t appreciate half a Chinese chicken salad, but what I did get was decent. Just check to make sure all your food is in there. –_–

TNT superdog never lets you down. Enough to split or definitely fill you up. I like it was an over hard egg but it is definitely a good pick.

This should have been amazing. TNT dog from Slaw Dogs Café in Duarte. It’s a double hot dog with pastrami, chili cheese fries and a fried egg wrapped in a tortilla. It sounds like an orgasmers for your tongue! Sadly, it was just so-so. Cheap wieners, dry pastrami, not enough cheese… so dissapointing. Add to that the horrible service from what I assume was a new kid, and I won’t be back.

CINNAMONFRENCHTOAST. is da . seriously, this is a must. 5⁄5. it was like a cinnamon roll in my mouth, and the maple syrup is diabetes, in a good way! TNTSLAWDOG was on the saltier side. Definitely a man’s man food. all the different sorts of beef in it, but it was definitely pretty heavy. Personally, I wouldn’t get this again, but don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t bad at all. Biscuit or toast? BISCUIT. Your mouth, brain, and stomach will thank you for that buttery goodness. Tried the GHOSTOMELETTE, just because we wanted something spicy. I love spicy, and this wasn’t too bad. You do get that kick of spicyness that kinda lingers for a bit. It was good to try, but most likely wouldn’t get again either. must I repeat again? go for the cinnamon french toast. you won’t regret!

I absolutely loved this place. I wish there was one like it close to where I live but alas, I will have to make stops here on my travels up north! We got The Green Monster, The Traditional, The Chicago Dog and The Kimchi Sweet Potato Fries. The Green Monster had a little bit spice to it but it was insanely good. I would definitely get this one again! The Traditional was great. It had a ton of chili and cheese on it. Done to perfection. The Chicago Dog is a classic and is done well here. I really loved The Kimchi Sweet Potato Fries. There was a lot of fries and everything paired so well. I’ve never had anything like it but it was insanely good. Overall, this place was absolutely fantastic. I would definitely come back here. The service was great and the food was done perfect.

I had just came from a hike with my sister an we where next to this place so i wanted her to give it a try because i knew it was pretty good. At first we called an they left us on hold for a while which is understandable the said they where pretty busy, which in my eyes is a good thing it lets you know they have good food. Even though the food was awesome. The reason i gave them 3 stars was because they total got our order wrong. I had asked for a slaw dog and they gave me a chili cheese dog with coleslaw whoch like. i mentioned was good but it. was the wrong.order. i also order chili cheese tots with slaw and. they ended.up giving us the parmasean tots which where still good but once again the wrong order. I was happy that they at least got my sisters order correct :) which was the most important to me because i wanted her to tey something she wanted since she had never been there. I was fine with trying something different also because i love trying new food. All in all the food was as great as always but they missed up on our order alittle to much this time. I will still be back an hopefully next time. i could give them a better review because the food diffenitly deserves it :)

Was pretty busy when we came in. The staff is great. Very friendly. So many choices, we wanted to order everything. I love that there are a good amount of veggie options. I came in wanting eggs Benedict. I was disappointed because I wanted smoked salmon but it came out as cooked salmon. Hence the 4 star instead of 5. My husband ordered the hulk and kimchi sweet potato fries. I’m not even sure I normally like kimchi but these fries were good. The hulk was too spicy for me to even try. I placed a bite in my mouth and I had to spit it out BC it burnt my tongue. But my husband liked it. I just can’t handle spicy. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I ate other types of meat. The TNT looks bomb. I wouldn’t mind coming again to try out the other options on the menu :)

4÷8÷15: It’s about time I wrote a review. Came here many times before, but mostly before I was a real Unilocaler. And now that I have this new life, this new duty, I have finally decided to give justice to my times here! First off, come here for the dogs. Sometimes the burgers. NEVER the breakfast. The dogs are awesome. All are quite tasty, and most are pretty creative. I like Pink’s, but consider this your alternative far closer to home, and with a far shorter line. Okay, maybe not really the same, but… I dunno too many other places offering such special dogs around this area. This is it. The hot dog itself is not the most gourmet or most juicy, but they work. It’s really what they do with it that’s awesome. The burgers are good. Some are super messy though, so be prepared to get your hands dirty. Not the most epic meat. But overall good. The breakfast… REALLYAMAZINGLYBAD. In fact, I really really really recommend avoiding anything other than the dogs and burgers. Trust me. On a previous occasion I got… 0.1. Chicken Fried Steak: The Very Worst Chicken Fried Steak I have EVER had in my entire life. That bad. The steak itself was smaller and round. They said they made them there, but it really tastes like the frozen ones put on the burner for 2 hours until turned dryer than beef jerky. It was truly horrible. 1⁄10. 0.2. Biscuits and Gravy: Okay, I will type this out again: The Very Worst Biscuits I have EVER had in my entire life. That bad. Really THATBAD. So dry, so tasteless, so much like brick. 1⁄10. Alright… got that over with. Like I said, the hot dogs are excellent and burgers are good. What did I get this time?(I tried pretty much all of them): 1. The Hulk Dog $ 7.99: Frickin’ hot. It’s HOT. Do not get this unless you seriously can take pain and heat. But it was awesomely green. And beat the sht out of me. 7⁄10. 2. TNT Super Dog(aka«the Good Timer») $ 8.88: I would say this is their most awesome dog of all, though I guess technically not a dog. They put a bunch of stuff inside a tortilla, so I guess it really is a burrito, but anyway, whatever. Tons of great stuff like beer chili, pastrami even!, cheese fries, heart attack, etc. Great stuff. My favorite. 10⁄10 Come for the dogs. You’ll love them. 4⁄5 #hotdog #burger

If Slaw Dogs were a religion, I would be the most faithful disciple. I’m glad me and the boyfriend came here after dating for some time now, because if I had discovered Slaw Dogs early on in the relationship, I’m not sure we would’ve lasted to this day after how he saw me eat here. I’m not even joking I have pictures, but I’ll save you guys that horror. First of all, you are presented with a ridiculously vast menu that makes you feel like you’re Sophie in Sophie’s Choice. Okay, I exaggerate but it was seriously hard to choose just one dish and the pictures on the menu really don’t help. They have a full breakfast menu and unique brunch/lunch options as well. After going over the menu multiple times and weighing our incredibly important decisions me and the boyfriend decided on the TNT super dog and the Kimchi burger. For brunch. at 1030 in the morning ._. Anyhow, you can add sides and they have two tiers. The cheaper tier is $ 2 I believe and you get your normal fries and garden salad or soup of the day and the more expensive tier at about $ 4 is sweet potato fries, tater tots, etc. The TNT super dog is a ridiculous two hot dog monstrosity wrapped in a burrito and stuffed full with pastrami, chili, jalapenos, bacon and fries. It was really good and as much the instant heart attack you expect it to be. But my complaint is that it’s a little too salty. You can also add a fried egg for $ 1, course we added it and the result was x. x My Kimchi burger was very good, I was really impressed. The burger comes with a fried egg, kimchi, tomato, lettuce, the patty itself, onions, all your usual toppings with a garlic aioli. So, so good. Like I said glad we came here after dating for awhile because I completely finished my burger in the most barbarically enjoyable way possible. Their garlic aioli is really good with fries and they have a chitpotle sauce that’s good as well. In Slaw Dogs we trust.
