Holiday Inn Express Dublin

Great clean hotel. Friendly staff, quick check in. Easy on and off the highway. This will be our go to hotel on our southern trip. Even a soft and firm pillow boor your choosing. Great place.

If there’s nowhere else but the Bates Motel… stay there! Two thumbs down on this tax shelter. No maid service, arrogant useless staff, cheap cheap food, and the hot tub should be closed by the health department. The owners are to blame.

Stay-​Feb2015. Overall nice hotel, friendly staff and clean room. Only ding on it, the tub would not drain well. Otherwise a good place to stay.

Thus far a wonderful experience, the pool was the best way to relax after a long days drive. The room is great no extra blankets in our room but I was prepared. Haven’t had breakfast yet, but I’m sure it will be great. Their also are cats outside… But no need to worry they are both very friendly, I’m guessing their owners are nearby and they just come here for some affection and water.

Stayed here on the way back from Florida to New York. Took 95 to 26 to 77 to 81 rather than 95 for the first time after years of 95 travel. This hotel is roughly the midpoint of the trip.
This Holiday Inn Express is awesome. It is cheap, clean, and has amenities such as an indoor pool, and free breakfast from 6 – 10 as of this writing. The staff is friendly and unlike most hotels on 95 they actually had a room available at 11:30 pm when we got there. Hotel is AAA approved, and they also accept the AAA discount.
It is highly likely I will stay here again.

Stayed here for two nights. Front desk staff was exceptionally helpful in answering inquiries and helping us find our way around. Simple breakfast, but a variety of options. Room was clean and comfortable. It looked like the rooms had been recently renovated. Only qualm was that the pool was glassed-​in and entirely viewable from the lobby, but we hadn’t brought suits anyway, so it didn’t matter. Two cats occasionally hung out by the front entrance, which made it feel a little homier.

Normally HIEs I stay in are first rate. There are many things right with this hotel, but a few things wrong. The breakfast is standard HI Express issue, which is adequate. For some reason, this HIE loves to «over-​nuke» and burn eggs and sausage. The breakfast area is too small for the hotel, and I had to get creative in order to eat… no seats left! The staff is super-​friendly. 4 out of 5 for cleanliness. Housekeeping needs to learn how to clean a bathroom. From my observations, the problem is with the distracted and slow GM. Just my guess here. Staff and GM smoke about every 10 minutes at the front entrance. Too many smoke breaks-​and it stinks. And what is with all the cats hanging around at the front entrance?! Who’s feeding them? Will I be back? Maybe.

Good experience for the money. Clean room. Reception service was nice. Free WiFi. Breakfast was OK. Haven’t had a chance to use gym or pool as only stayed one night.

Clean room. Fairly modern. Didn’t use the pool or gym. Shoney’s and Bogangles within walking distance.
