9 months later and this is still my go to spot! Absolutely love Tina’s work. She does my brows, toes and acrylic full set. I always get something different and she always accommodates.
If I want coffin shape, stiletto or square; she does the best job!
Highly recommend anyone looking for a relaxing nail salon to come to Silk Nail Design!

I typically have Vy (the owner) do my shellac manicure; however, I went in on her day off. I opt for Tina instead. She is a perfectionist. I am SO picky about my nails, but she did everything right like I asked. I am such a loyal client to this place, I won’t go anywhere else for my nails.

Long over due review for my favorite nail salon! I’ve been going to Silk Nail Design for a few months now and am so grateful to have found a reliable consistent manicurist! Tina does an amazing job and ever manicure she’s given me has been flawless! Everyone at Silk Nail Design is friendly and welcoming, they definitely make you feel at home. I come all the way from Hayward every two weeks because it’s so worth it! If you’re looking for a quick perfect manicure this is the place to go! Thank you, Silk Nail Design, keep up the good work!

Very nice place :-) I would have to say this is my favorite salon in the area for multiple reasons. It’s not normally crowded when I go, so the environment is very relaxing and the ladies there are very friendly. I typically experience this awkward 30 seconds when you enter and all the other customers stare at you, but here they greet you nicely. The color selection I would say is average, definitely better than some I’ve been to but not the best I’ve seen. They have plenty of special effect polishes and also limited edition ones. I’ve always had a great experience the few times I’ve been here, and the prices they set are not bad either. I have acrylic nails, so every time I return for a fill it is $ 20. The only reason this is not five stars is because I really would love more color choices!

I am /​demanding and love unusual nails. I go to get pampered and I want to leave feeling like a queen. Tina and the rest the team are customer-​service professionals and Tina is an artist. I have tried Almond Plaza, Winnie’s, Ken’s and others and none are at the level of Silk.

Excellent nail work first and foremost. Definitely a great spa pedicure and they massage your legs and feet really nicely. Also the acryllic/​gel nails they do here are amazing!!! I love Tina she does my nails better than any other place has and she talks to me and does the fastest job for doing such a perfect job. She makes sure to do exactly what I want. The male owner (I wish I got his name) is so friendly and accommodating. He even helped me pull down my skinny jeans pants leg when i was struggling and he didn’t want me to break a nail, lol. He offered me a drink while I waited and truly I have never been to a nail salon where they have such great customer service. prices are very reasonable for the area. I highly recommend coming here. I will continue to come here, it happens to be the closest nail salon to my house anyways. :)

Coming back here for the massages that you get with the pedicure!!! My calves and feet have never been so well loved before.
The application of the color was kinda messy but then again I did give her a WHITE color, so that’s understandable.
The place itself looks brand new and very clean. The staff was all very nice and accommodating. Even though the color looked kinda meh I would come back here just for that massage :)

Hubby and I were so lucky they had room for us. Love this place! We treated ourselves to the Firewalker pedicure since it had been such a long time and we needed the extra pampering.
Both ladies were excellent and definitely took care in what they were doing. From the amount of clients were obviously regulars coming in, I can tell we found a beloved place.
We’ll be back during this trip and I’m glad that I found a place to go to whenever we are in town.

Most nail places are about «how many people can I get in/​out of the door in x amount of time», this shop gives you realistic wait times, and is pretty good about 5−10min max past your appt time before you start service. Once I came in without an apt, and all the techs had someone… instead of hearing 15min like some nail places– she looked at their schedule, and said she could fit me in an hour. I love that, I went and ran some errands came back and was seated within 5min. Thank you for being honest, that will keep me coming back for sure!
I love that there is no tv (feels more spa like), I love that there are only 5 work stations so it doesn’t feel like a giant shop with limited customer service, I love that every special nail design picture I’ve brought to them they’ve done it so beautifully, and I love that my shellac mani actually does last 3 – 4 weeks.
Every standing appt time I’ve made has been kept, and after 5 visits with great service and skill– this is my favorite place to get my nails done I’ve ever been too :)
