The best description for Mr. McIntyre is Joe Pesci’s character in the first part of the movie«The Super.» He is an arrogant, self-centered landlord that would rather watch his buildings fall down without fixing them up, all while raising rent. He is a smug man that looks down on everyone, while putting his nose so far in the air that even The Donald would feel small next to him. His apartments have mostly families and he wants them to stay out of trouble, but refuses to allow any playground equipment, picnic tables, and scoffs whenever he sees children playing outside on one of his properties. He belittles his managers and employees and takes full advantage of their desire to make the most with nothing to work with. Are there worse landlords than Jesse McIntyre Realtors — yes. But, from the fact his properties used to be the best in town to now extremely run-down and the way that he treats his employees, he should be made to live under the same conditions he puts other in.
