Wonderful Facility. This place has a great location, just on the outskirts of town, making it a nice«escape» from the city while still being conveniently located. The main lobby inside is a bit small, but for it being a «community» ice arena, it services itself well, as opposed to an «arena» atmosphere. I’d personally like the interior of the lobby to have the walls expanded a good 8 – 10 feet outward, to allow for more space, but it’s good how it is. The inside of this facility is the typical«bowl», with great seating views from each seat. The DB+T Lounge is a nice, cozy atmosphere with large windows directly on the South Side of the facility. I took in pre-game festivities at a VIP event here and the service was wonderful. The Fighting Saints staff(I was here for the USHL Top Prospects Game…) is the best in the business. They coordinated the event with incredible professionalism and the game and entire event surrounding the game(including the pre-game Luncheon) was extremely well produced. I can’t imagine a Fighting Saints game being any different. My one issue with the facility is the lack of Amenities. There were only two small concession stands, selling the basics and two bathrooms on one side of the arena from what I can recall. In my mind, there should be a bit more food and restroom options. Overall, for what it is, it’s an excellent facility and I encourage anyone in Dubuque to come to a Fighting Saints hockey game. It will be a great time.
