Radford Place Apartments

This one of the best apartments I have lived in. My husband and I really enjoyed living there! The apartments are really nice and allows pets. We were also able to get garages which was really nice to have during the winter. The managers are also very nice! If you had a problem you could call them and they would make sure it was fixed. It was also very quite. I would definitely recommend these apartments! :)

One of the best apartments we’ve lived in! It’s in a great location and the apartments are so beautiful inside. Dan and Steve were great to work with. The apartment is so quiet, you hardly ever here the neighbors. We would definitely live there again!

By far the nicest apartments in Dubuque. I lived there for 18 months and it didn’t start off well, the old management company was horrible (never returned calls, maintenance requests were never completed), but the owners of the complex took over the management after I had been there for 11 months and the entire experience was 100% better. I agree with the previous reviews under old management, but new management is keeping the grounds maintained and the buildings in proper working order. Two examples are when my A/​C failed it was repaired the following day and when my deadbolt jammed it was fixed the same day. I have recommended these to several coworkers who are now living here and also enjoy the complex.

I agree with the review from Adriana! We have lived in apartments for over 5 years. This is by far the worse place we have lived. The apartment is nice and has lots of storage. That’s as far as it goes. The apartments are not safe. The police were called here due to a hand gun incident in the parking lot. When I asked about it I was told by management the issue was involving some one visiting a tenant and that it wouldnt happen again. I’m not sticking around to find out. The property manager is not on site so rules for the complex are not enforced. She is unavailable if you do have a problem. I have tried to get a hold of her for two weeks with no return call. If something breaks they have a number for you to call on your own located on the front door. Good luck getting a return call from him too. The weeds on the lawn are terrible and they leave grass clippings all over the side walks that get tracked into the hallways. We also didn’t have a dog and experienced dog doo doo right outside our front door. A neighbors cat got out and urinated in front of our apartment door. They came sprayed some deodorizer and vacuumed. The carpet was not replaced. You can only imagine what the smell was like espically when the weather turned warm. They only empty the trash bins once a week so theyre always full and smell. People park where they want including on the grass. With the city growing and little renting opportunities I would spend more time and money looking to live elsewhere.

Stay away! The apartments are brand new, so that is a big plus, but, the management is the worst. It seems like they have no clue of what they are doing or it could be that they simply do not care. Before moving in we requested new blinds for the sliding door because the ones in the apartment were defective. These were never replaced. The garage door broke after two weeks of living there and it took the maintenance man a month to fix it, only because we called multiple times. The brand new toilet clogged all the time, and guess what? Although we harassed these people, the issue was NEVER resolved.
Another big problem with this place is that they sometimes waited two weeks to cut the lawn, so imagine the weeds. Also, this is one of the few places in Dubuque where dogs are allowed, so everyone had one. The only problem with this was that people did not pick up after their pets. So the place always looked dirty with the long grass and weeds, and the piles of dog waste. Don’t waste your $ 950, utilities NOT included.
