Friendly staff and fast service. The place is nice, big and clean. The décor is interesting. If you drink beer, in the middle table near the bar they have a table fill with ice from one end to the other end and put the beer bottles in there. I ordered to go a family pack of 50. I could get up to 5 flavor. I had hot, lemon pepper, hot braised, mango habanero and garlic parmesan. The hot braised is flavorful. My daughter’s favorite is the hot flavor. The lemon pepper is also flavorful with the right amount of lemon seasoning. The mango habanero is not strong enough, the garlic parmesan is not a favorite. Would I come back again? yes, but not for the mango habanero and garlic parmesan.

We decided to try this place for me and a friend’s birthday. It was somewhat difficult locating this since Google Maps led me to around the corner on the other side of the shopping center. But I figured it’d be somewhere there and drove on. The place was empty, especially for a Friday night at 7:30. It’s always sad seeing why a business isn’t doing amazing, but after trying the food I can understand why it’s not as busy as most owners would like it to be. The food was meh. I got the garlic parmesan wings which were kinda small. I shared a 20 pc with my sister who got her 10 in the mild. It just had a scent of spicy but tasted like almost nothing. The bleu cheese that came with it was really good, but it’s a little useless to dip it into a small wing. Other wings at our table were the mango habanero and the lemon pepper. Lemon pepper burst in my mouth when I bit into it. Not sure if I was into the blinding lemon juice that I tasted, but it was good for the one wing that I tried. The mango habanero, which I expected it to be spicy considering how far along it sits on Buffalo Wild Wing’s spectrum of sauces, but it was as mild as the mild. My other friend had the burger which was okay, nothing special she stated. We were able to taste the fries and the sweet potato fries. Sweet potato fries were nothing special and not great. The regular fries were very crispy and I actually really liked them. The other side that could’ve came with a meal was the fried rice which was drenched in oil. Even one of my friends who eats almost anything didn’t want to finish his fried rice. The last person in our party got a sandwich which he ate almost instantly. Oily and mushy, but the taste wasn’t bad. After realizing that he was still hungry, he ordered a Philly cheesesteak. Same as his previous sandwich. The waitress was nice, but too casual with us. I understand that it was a bar and it was a casual setting, but some of the things she said or did was not what a server should. She was accommodating when one of us asked to have the large projector changed to the Hawks game instead of the HGTV that they were showing. We had to ask to have our food out once since it was forgotten. She also had a hard time understanding some of the things we asked/said. It’s not the worst place, but it’s not something I would want to come back to.

I love these wings. Garlic and parmesan to be exact. Chi mac is a really cool looking sports bar with very good food. The staff is also extremely good and friendly. This by far the best sports bar in Duluth.

Before writing this review, I tried it twice just to make sure I wasn’t being too harsh. I tried their wings and Steak & Cheese(Philly) and I have had better. Their wings were small and the flavor wasn’t as great as I think it could have been. Essentially, the wings were… plain. The Philly was better than the wings, but again, I’ve had better. The server was super nice though and was attentive, thank you! Overall, just disappointed in the quality of the food.

Came here to watch the Falcon game! Music is a little off, but the bar itself is very clean. Love the environment, overall. Food is great! Beer is ice cold! What more can I say? Come check this place out! You won’t regret it!

So happy we tried this place out. It’s very close to my home so it was convenient and I just wanted bar food. I came here with my mother. She got a philly and fries, I got 10 wings(they gave me 11:)!) and I had two beers, one blue moon and one craft The food was very good. And the portions were very generous! The philly was cheesy but it had too many onions(I forgot to ask for light) the wings were crispy and had great seasoning What I loved were the prices. I didn’t look at each item separately but for two entrees and two beers it was only $ 25!!! Usually one entrée and a beer would be this much in Atlanta. You don’t find these prices anywhere else. Very happy. Will be back!

Mediocre wings and bad service. Went with group of ten ppl. Waitress didn’t know what any beers were we wanted and didn’t know if what we wanted was in stock. She couldn’t even read the menu smh. She did everything 1 by 1. So she would get 1 persons drink order, bring it back, and repeat for each person. forgot 2 people in out groups order so we all ate and they sat and watched for an hour for 2 plates of wings and rice. Ordered lemon pepper(was sweet wtf?), Mango habenero, hot, and garlic parm. Garlic parm was only wings everyone said was good. Only good thing about this place is buy one get one free deal on Mondays and Tuesdays which we got. Would only come here on those two days especially if they play Monday might football. Thought it was a korean run place from the name but it’s a korean owned American Bar I think.

Chi Mac Bar & Grill is located in the shopping plaza right next to The Melting Pot off Satellite Blvd in Duluth. This bar and grill has been open for about a month now. The previous business here was a Korean pastry store(I’m presuming didn’t do too well). INTERIOR Décor is a little off probably transferred from the previous establishment. It’s nice though, but portions of it looks like a more upscale-type of place. The whole Paris décor just looks out of place for the bar and grill. There are plenty of tables, booths, and bar seating. Spacious. SERVICE Greeted by the owner upon entrance. She was walking around checking on tables and checked on us like 2 – 3 times during our dine-in. The waitress was attentive with water refills. FOOD They really advertise their wings! There’s a sign in the window for it. The menu has a full page dedicated to wings. Also, on Mondays and Tuesdays for the time being; there’s a special promotion on any wing order, get second order free. Imagine ordering the 50 piece wing order, and getting an extra 50FREE. WHOA! #wingpartyatCHIMAC So my friends and I ordered wings during our visit, obvs. Wing Combo Section; comes with choice of fried rice or fries. –20 piece wing order(15.99): half hot/half lemon pepper with fried rice –10 piece wing order(7.99): half garlic parmesan/half medium with fries So the wings were good and on smaller side. I’d personally stick with medium/hot wings. The lemon pepper is a sauce here. It’s sweet for some reason. The garlic parmesan sauce was okay. Nothing special. The fries were bland; some seasoning would be great or stick with ketchup. The fried rice was very greasy. Like… my lips were glossing. Overall, an affordable bar and grill. Easy finger-food eats. There are tons of beer on draft and a full bar for drinks. Friendly staff.

Dropped in on a whim on a Friday afternoon(5ish). Loved the environment. Nice bar hangout feel but totally clean! Food was good and reasonably priced. A burger and fries for 6.00. Someone else had the short rib(Korean bulgolgi) plate I think it was about $ 8 and came with 2 sides. Our waitress seemed a little off. maybe timid because she’s new but it was forgivable and did not impact our service. The(owner) came over and checked on us a couple times! Seems like a good late night meal! Lots of beer options from what I could see(didn’t have any).

The food is nothing special when I ate here with my friends. And very slow service. Had to ask twice for a knife for my steak(never received the knife) and asked 3 times for mayonnaise(asking once should’ve been enough). Maybe I’ll try again one day, hopefully with better service next time

This place is simply amazing. The staff is out standing. And the food is great. I had the lemon pepper, hot braised, garlic parn, and medium. Wings packed with excellent flavor. Even the owner came out to speak with me. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This place has a bar, a private room(for big groups) and lots of tables all around the restaurant! This was my second time at Chi Mac. Anyways, the wings here are fabulously delicious! I would recommend the Mango Habanero, Lemon Pepper and the Hot Braised flavors! Those are my top picks! ***TIP: Mondays and Tuesdays: Buy any wing order(entrée or combo) and get the second for free! Isn’t that awesome!?*** I ordered a pitcher of Yuengling Amber(draft beer). The prices online are different from the ones on the menu. so from the top of my head. I think it was around $ 10. Singular Entrée(just the wings) Single(10 pcs) $ 6.99 Double(20 pcs) $ 13.49 Triple(30 pcs) $ 19.99 Family(50 pcs) $ 31.99 Combo(wings) Menu (10 pcs) $ 7.99 (15 pcs) $ 12.49 (20 pcs) $ 15.99 The combos come with either french fries or fried rice. Both are really good, but I’d go with french fries since the fried rice doesn’t really match with the wings. but it’s totally up to you. Also comes with celery sticks and carrot sticks with bleu cheese or ranch dressing. Yep, yep! OH and the service was good. but our waiter wasn’t that great. maybe he was new? I don’t know but the owner did most of the serving for us. He was great. he should be, right? The first time I came here, my waitress was awesome! She was friendly, attentive and cool! I forgot her name, though(sorry!). but she was amazing! I would definitely come here, again!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant. They have some games lying around that you can play while you wait for the food. Speaking of which, the food came out surprisingly quickly, and the owner was very friendly and accommodating. I came here with a group of five friends; we ordered sixty wings altogether and got fried rice and fries as sides. The wings are delicious — I especially enjoyed the mango habanero and the garlic parmesan wings. The prices were reasonable, and it is located nearby other(Korean food) hot-spots in Duluth. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for big groups as well as more casual smaller group hang-outs. Will be coming back soon.

We drove by this place and saw that it was having their grand opening… so decided to give it a try. Chi Mac Bar & Grill is in same plaza as Haru Ichiban, the melting pot and ect on Pleasant Hill, Duluth GA. The decors is a mix between modern and bar style. There were comfy black and white seats and booths but also little bar signs and such on the walls. Me, my brother and the boyfriend ordered the following: –20 piece hot wings combo with french fries.(10 Pieces in the mango sauces. Kind of a mixture between spicy and sweet. Deff. recommend; 10 pieces in the normal medium flavor) The french fries were a little dry… so I don’t recommend the fries. Hoping they will switch to a different kind of fries. And they don’t have sweet potatoe fries. –2 plates of the short ribs with two sides for each plate. Their sides are fries, fried rice, potato salad, cole slaw, and stir fry veggies. I opt for the potato salad and stir fry veggies… while my brother got the fried rice and coleslaw. I really like the potato salad. The stir fry veggies were a tad bit salty. My brother seems to really enjoy his sides. I didn’t had a chance to even try it and it was cleaned. We were all pretty starved. For the short ribs… it was cooked korean style. I believed grilled and marinated in the signature galbi sauce. It was good, but a little over cooked and has shrunk a bit in shaped. But overall. still pretty good. Overall…I would recommend this place. And right now since they are having their grand opening it’s 18−20% off your check I believe. Not sure how long that will last. So come give them a try!

We tried this place on a whim after hearing about it from friends, and we were so glad that we did. We went in as two couples, one with a baby, and the owner himself brought a high chair for our friends’ child. We were seated immediately and started to look at the menu. They offer the usual Korean style hot wings, smaller than your wingstop or zaxbys or any«American» wings, but crispy and juicy with the right amount of sauce. We both ordered the 20 piece combo and tried the medium, mango habanero, extra hot, and garlic parmesan wings. The mango habanero was perfectly sweet and had a slight kick as you would expect. The extra hot were standard hot wings and tasted great. The garlic parm were the surprise favorite, though, as the wings had plenty of sauce and were by far the juiciest of the 4 flavors we had. Typically, garlic parm wings are too dry and kind of flat tasting, but these were much different and better than average. Our group had both the fried rice and fries and sides. The fried rice was better than what you would expect from a wings place, and the fries were big steak fry style fries yet still crispy which usually doesn’t happen with steak fries because they tend to get soggy. Not at all the case here! The portions for the sides were also huge for what you pay. As it is a Korean owned place, you do of course get some free starters with some Chex mix and some cabbage and sauce, and this was a welcome surprise. I saved the best for last for this review: the prices(especially for beer and wings, the speciality of the restaurant). You can get beer for about $ 4.50 a glass draft or $ 13 a pitcher, so we ordered a pitcher of blue moon and got about 4 glasses out of it. The wings are also priced a bit lower than most competitors in the area, yet the flavor is not sacrificed at all. We had stellar service from the waitress and the owner who came by several times to tell us he was glad we came and made small talk with us, so I figured I should write a review here in hopes that it helps out the business. It seems that they just opened recently and not too many people know they’re even there. It’s in a great location on the main drag of Koreatown on pleasant hill, and the food is delicious and priced well. We will definitely be back! I hope more people find this place because they deserve more business.
