This is my favorite place to eat my favorite is the Kung Pao Tofu. I usually get an extra meal out of the large serving. It is at the Hmart food court. Don’t let that fool you. Excellent!

Came in tonight to get some take out for dinner. Tried this place out. Had some pork with vegetables, pork belly with bamboo, and salt pepper chicken nuggets. It all tasted very good. I definitely will come back again.

I’ve tried this place twice now due to the awesome Unilocal reviews and both times were pretty disappointed. The food is good, but nothing spectacular. The Mei fun is not super authentic and the beef noodle soup is ok. Not amazing. The pork chop rice and stewed meat rice were both good, but again, nothing awesome. If you’re in the area and want some semi-taiwanese food, then come here. I didn’t try any of their stir fry dishes, but maybe that is better. For true Taiwanese, I still prefer Ping’s Place.

Spicy seafood soup, panfried dumplings, and house lo mein. Home made noodles! 22 $US. What a delicious mom and pop shop. Go, try, you’ll like it for sure. We do…

The rice noodles and and pan-fried pot stickers were delicious. The salt n’ pepper chicken was okay, but was not seasoned evenly and tasted like there slight freezer burn on some of the pieces. If in the area, would definitely go back to try more.

We used go to Great Wall for authentic Chinese food but stumbled into Mama’s Kitchen one day and so glad we did. This place is great. Their food is made fresh to order and all of their noodles and dumplings are made from scratch. Being from Taiwan, their food brings back memories of childhood. Definitely the best beef noodle soup I’ve had in Atlanta. Highly recommend this place.

Located inside the Korean H-Mart, you’ll find Taiwanese food that is DELICIOUS. Niu rou mian(beef noodle soup) = huge portions, hand pulled noodles, tender beef — amazing! Jajangmyeon with the hand pulled noodles are also amazing. Everything here comes in huge portions(one dish could be shared between two people), low prices and is consistently delicious per my parents who frequent this place every week. It’s part of the mini food court, so the ambience that of a food court — not fancy, disposable utensils, etc. There is limited seating, but tables big enough for 6 people.

While working and living in Johns Creek for 10 weeks, I must have eaten here every week. Everything here is fresh, authentic and delicious. I’ve tried two other eateries in this market and this is the best. I’ve had the beef the noodle soup, which is perfectly savory and spicy(upon request). The broth of real beef flavors and Asian spices topped off with a thick cut of tender, juicy stewed beef that has just the right amount of fat/tendon ratio. I’ve had the Mama’s chicken, like a version of sweet and sour chicken, except its better. No dough or heavy breading here. You get real, well-seasoned white breast meat, lightly fried and tossed in a red sauce that is not overwhelmingly sweet and does not take away from the chicken. I’ve had the peppered beef over rice. Not my usual go to, but the tender meat is wok tossed with bell peppers and onions in a peppery, savory, very light gravy sauce. I’ve had the Seafood noodle soup. The noodles are soft with a slight elastic and chewy finish. It’s in a spicy, perfectly seasoned broth that tastes seafood fresh with shrimp, mussels, and scallops. This is a winter day must have. I’ve had the steamed pork dumplings. The chewy and soft doughy skin holds in a juicy, fresh, and tasty pork and chives filling. It’s not overly salted so you can taste the fresh chives and pork flavor. It’s not what you would expect from a supermarket food court, and that is what makes this place a legitimate food destination.

It tastes like Taiwanese home cooking. Great spot for no frills delicious food on the cheap. When I’m too lazy to cook, I come here for some take out. I recommend the Taiwanese stewed work and Taiwanese chilli pork bean noodle, but everything is great. Check it out!

My Taiwanese cousin-in-law recommended this place to me, and I’m glad she did! This little stand inside the Johns Creek Hmart is a neighborhood gem! Although we only ordered 2 entrees and a hot & sour soup, I thought everything tasted great. The big portions made the meal even better. The two of us couldn’t finish everything and they were very nice about giving us to-go containers. I’m definitely coming back to try other dishes.

I have been a regular here for nearly a year. In an area with no shortage of Taiwanese and Chinese offerings, this place truly stands alone. Your first thought, it’s in a grocery store? Really? Let me break it down for you: 1.) H-mart is to grocery stores as NASA is to bottle rockets 2.) Mama’s Taiwanese chili bean noodle dish can be ordered in a variety of configurations and they take tremendous pride in its authenticity. 3.) If you are a fan of spicy, tell them. I have had several iterations of a variety of their dishes ranging from intense flavor heat to blazing seafood dishes. 4.) In a small unassuming container on the counter contains a spicy oil/paste that can only be described as mythic. I literally put it on everything. 5.) They are the absolute nicest people and do whatever they can to make sure you enjoy the dish they’ve prepared for you. 6.) Their dumplings are outrageously good. 7.) I drive nearly 20 minutes to have lunch here passing a litany of more convenient places. Building a rapport with a group of people who take great pride in their food is something many overlook. Do yourself a favor and give them a chance. When you’re done, you’re still in an awesome grocery store with a massive ramen aisle.

MAMAMIA! When David R. posted a photo of his Taiwanese Rice Noodles, I knew that I would have to run down and check them out. I was actually in the store on Sunday morning but they do not open until 11am so I had to wait for another day. :( This restaurant is located in the H-Mart food court so ambiance and décor is not why you would choose to eat here. Therefore, this review is all about the food. Today I had the pleasure of having lunch with my son(Awwwwwe!), so we decided to try out this new Asian restaurant. I decided to order the Taiwanese Rice Noodles without curry and he ordered Mama’s Chicken with Rice. My dish arrived smoking hot while my son’s arrived a short time later. We both waited until the smoke dissipated before diving in. My noodles were perfectly seasoned and were neither greasy nor dry which has been an issue with other restaurants. It was a perfect balance of beef, shrimp and vegetables and the serving size was HUGE. This is definitely enough to share or save for another meal or snack. My son liked his chicken and rice. The chicken was lightly breaded white meat that had been fried and dressed in a sweet sauce. He really liked it because it was a quality dish and he loves a sweet sauce. Even the rice was nice! Each dish was $ 7.95 and more than worth the price. So glad to finally have a new option for one of my favorite Asian dishes. Thank you David!

Rice noodles has become one of my favorites dishes. After seeing a picture of them from Mama’s Kitchen, I had to try them. My visit here was the first time I ordered from one of the restaurants in the Super H Mart food court. I placed a takeaway order. Inside the container was a generous portion of rice noodles. They are prepared with beef and shrimp and complimented with an assortment of vegetables. The dish is seasoned perfectly; a good balance of curry and seasoning.

The best Taiwanese style noodles you can find in metro Atlanta area!!! Best beef noodle soup(yes better than ah ma’s), best seafood noodles, best dumplings, best stew pork rice with the price under $ 10 for each item. We travel to here for many times from midtown just for this. Worth it!

Newly opened Taiwanese restaurant located inside the super h mart in johns creek. One of the best quality Taiwanese food in town. We had Taiwanese pork chop rice and beef noodle soup, which are the two basic Taiwanese dishes. Both are pretty good. Definitely recommended!
