We LOVE Dundee park district! I just read a review about someone giving one star and complaining about them having their child restricted from the track. There is a HUGE sign that says no kids under 11 or 12 unattended. I run there a few times a week and recently this little kid maybe 5 years old has been hanging it while his parent wherever the hell they are leave him UNATTENDED. One time I went up to him three times because he was hanging on the railing of the track with his legs DANGLING over the edge. If any of you know Randall Oaks this is like a 50 ft plus drop to the gym. I know it’s not my child, but how could any adult see that and not tell this little child who was left UNATTENDED to stop hanging off the side rail. I was so close to tell the front desk about him, and I can almost guarantee the person that left the one star has got to be his parent/grand parent. There is two days a week that allow you to take your strollers in and go around the gym for exercise. The facility is very CLEAN. The child care works CARE and are very friendly and personable. The rates are great. I couldn’t ask for a better gym to be a part of!!! Oh yeah and I’m a mom of two and would never let my child be in the track unattended or even bring them since there is a huge sign that says not to. Respect the rules!

We have used this teach for 3 years and recently have allowed our kids to come for a few minutes. After the kids finish their warm-up, they work at the tables where we can watch them as we train for the Avon 2Day. Today we were asked to remove our youngest from the track because they recently had an «incident». Apparently there is an actual age limit but it’s not posted anywhere. The two staff people we dealt with we so rude and smug. It was very sad. I guess since we don’t pay for a membership, they don’t care about our business? Our youngest is heartbroken. He’s always been excellently behaved there and watched carefully by us. I’m not sure how we’ll train for the 2-Day now until it warms up.

This is a newer facility, and has a pretty good selection of machines, and probably just a little more Cardio equipment than they need. When i use this Gym it is normally pretty early in the morning so i never really see it too crowded, maybe when its busy all of the cardio equipment pays off. They have a fairly small free weight section, again not really a problem if you go off hours. The indoor track is really nice, and i know they offer quite a few classes here although i have never taken any. The locker room has always been very clean, and they have the fancy digital locks so you don’t need to bring your own. If you are looking to get on the path to better health this is a great place to start. They will give you an orientation and go over all of the machines, which is very important for newcomers to avoid injury.

Very welcoming and friendly place. The body pump classes with charles are awesome. I did the seven day pass to see if I’d like it, and I was hooked from the start.
