Got food to go, service was great but the food was not good at all. French fries were soggy and undercooked. Sandwiches were over or undercooked as well. Place was well decorated and appeared clean. Good menu selection and specials for the day. Will try again simply because the staff was so nice and welcoming, but for a $ 10 sandwich it needs to be a lot better for me to go back a third time!

Awesome little place with a great selection for breakfast and sandwiches/burgers. Had the California breakfast which had great taste and just the right amount of heat. Highly recommended when in Dunedin

A sweet waitress and a patio full of dogs earns them two stars. Their food earns them zero. This spot was delicious before new owners arrived.

Food: Food was good for a deli. Nothing too unique which will make you have to go back, but not saying we wouldn’t come back. We got a Philly cheesesteak it was good, but not so philly. The bread was fresh, it was draped in provolone cheese with nice chunks of steak. My wife got the Cuban and it was delicious. Would definitely recommend the Cuban. Coleslaw was good, tasted like Marie’s slaw dressing Service: Was great, very nice attentive staff. Atmosphere: Tucked away on a side street in a newer block of shops with a tavern, pottery painting place, gelato and coffee shop, and this Deli. Bathrooms were a little untidy and could have used some cleaning. The restaurant is bright and vibrant inside, and there is outside seating which is nice but was full upon our arrival. Would have preferred to sit outside and enjoy the day. Lastly, there are so many good places to eat in Dunedin which brings me to the question, «Would I come back here again?» I would, but only if we had a similar day like today. Wife and I took the kids to the park across the street, went for a walk along the water, and wanted a semi-light but filling lunch. Because it was Saturday the kids ate for free and the price was just right for our experience here.

wife had the shrimp salad which she liked very much. The service was good, but now the bad part. I had the«california» which is a french dip or at least it is suppose to be. The bread was wonderful and au jus was medium plus but the roast beef was horrible. Very tough fatty and brown and very little on the sandwich which was probable a good thing. It was very low quality(no way it was boars head not that that is much good either. There could not have had an ounce and a half of meat. It almost made me gag just nasty and had no flavor. I left most of it on the plate and ate the bread Don’t buy it We loved the old place and were regulars for three years and we live full time in Dunedin. Sorry folks this is just not that good

Meh. Ordered a chicken cemita sandwich. Took a while to arrive, but it was busy, so understandable. When it did though, it looked great. But then I realized it was missing the avocados. Not a big deal, I was hungry. Took a big bite and it tasted like fish! That is the WORST. Sent it back and we were comped. A damn shame.

The food is ok if you ever get it. The food does not come out as described on the menu and no one seems to have a working knowledge of what the menu even says when you ask where the rest of your meal is. My mother-in-law’s food never even came. They eventually brought out a substitute meal but by then the rest of us were done. To their credit, they did comp the meal that never came and they did give the whole check a discount. The ambience and live music were great. Even so, I would never return.

Menu is not as good as the old Broadway Deli. Service was extremely slow(and it wasn’t even busy), charged extra for salsa– about 1 oz(because it was homemade in) and it tasted like tomato sauce, hair found in food. Gnats or fruit flies were extremely annoying until we told the staff and they remove the plant. Overall the food was ok. Not sure I would recommend this place to my guests.

This used to be known, with different owners, as Broadway Café and Deli. It looks as though it changed hands sometime in November or December. After reading more recent reviews when I got home I feel that, had I read them first, I would have not stopped here for breakfast… but I did. I ordered a Ham & Cheese Omelette. It is described on the menu as «Maple ham & sharp cheddar cheese with a honey-mango drizzle & green onions.» Sounded good and I asked to have bacon added inside. When my food was brought to me I was in for a surprise… an omelette that looked like no other I have seen. Generally, omelettes I have eaten at restaurants are kind of(or a lot) fluffy and look quite formidable — a feast. This one looked flat, because it was flat, and it had pin holes throughout. I am not sure what causes that flatness nor those holes.(I did just read another reviewer, at the earlier Broadway Deli & Café page, who had the same appearance with her omelette.) The tastes of the bacon and ham were fine. The eggs, however, seemed to add little to the dining experience — perhaps due to the deflated status and the hundreds of holes. The rye toast was fairly thick and tasty, but I am curious why only one slice. Now, this next thing is partially my bad. When I asked to have bacon added I did not ask the cost. I should have. I was thinking a buck, buck and a half. When I got my bill, I got charged for a full side order of bacon, over 3 bucks. Sorry, but I know there were not 2 or 3 or 4 slices of bacon in that omelette, probably one. Live and learn on that one. I should have either asked the price when I ordered or just ordered a side. Anyway, the service overall was very good, pretty attentive, but I am not sure I will return. I will read other reviews before I decide.

We stopped in here today for lunch and were greeted by a very friendly gentleman. He brought us menus and promptly returned to take our order. My husband ordered a cheeseburger. My mom and I both ordered the Georgia sandwich, which was described on the menu as «pimiento cheese spread… whipped light as air with cheddar, mayo, salt and cracked black pepper, and diced jalapeños for a little kick» When he brought our order I thought someone had misunderstood. It was 4 slices of dry white bread with a slice of yellow American cheese barely melted between each slice and about 3 tiny pieces of jalapeño on one of the slices. No mayo, no salt or pepper, and definitely not«whipped light as air». In what universe is this pimiento cheese? It was literally 4 pieces of cheese toast, only barely toasted. We told him that this is not what the menu described and he said they had made a mistake and immediately took it back to the kitchen to change it. He came back with the same exact plates that had just been placed under a broiler to brown the cheese and burn the bread, and also burned the sweet potato fries that they didn’t bother removing from the plate before placing under the broiler. I posted a photo above of the plate exactly as it was presented. We didn’t touch anything on it. We paid for my husbands cheeseburger and left.

Awesome food, awesome owners/staff…definitely will be coming back! The vibe is great, and the concept is even better! they have a menu made up of different items that are the most popular is specific states …ie for breakfast you can get Texas:which is breakfast burritos Florida:blueberry pancakes New York: egg sandwich For sandwiches Florida:a Cuban Louisiana: a poboi Ohio:some meat concoction New York: Ruben Obviously the menu is much more vast than the few I remembered but you get the idea! Oh and the hot chocolate is to die for… an odd thing to think about drinking while in Florida but let me tell you that in the winter months we do get some chilly days and @50degrees today nothing sounded better than a warm drink!
