We hired Steven’s to trim back a neighbors extremely large Camphor tree which was dropping huge branches on our roof. They sent an estimator first to inspect the tree and provide a quote for the trimming. Chuck arrived as scheduled and did a thorough inspection of the tree. He was very knowledgeable about the species of the tree, the growth rate, an had several recommendations on trimming it to keep our roof safe.
After the inspection Chuck e-​mailed us a quote from our meeting. No sticker shock here, the price was more then reasonable. We scheduled the trimming and on the day of the trim two crews arrived in large tree trucks and began work immediately. Working in teams, one would trim a branch while the others cautiously removed the large limb from over our house. The limb went right into the tree truck to be mulched.
The crew was done within an hour. They cleaned up any stray branches which fell and the tree was shaped nicely, it didn’t look like it had been chopped back. They removed LARGE branches from this tree — the tree itself has to be more than 50 years old. I thought for sure after trimming the tree would look like it had a bad hair cut, but after Stevens was finished the finished trim was like a nice fade from a good barber. You could tell the tree had been trimmed back but it was done neatly. We were so pleased with Stevens we’re having them come back to remove some unsightly shrubs.

This company is fantastic! We had neighboring trees growing over the fence line and needed it cut back. They cut them back and all the way up (approx 20ft high). They reshaped our «mushroom» tree and also trimmed our overgrown bushes against our back fence line: 70ft of bushes cut from 10 ft high back down to 6ft high. Everything was done in less than 2 hours because they sent a massive crew to get it done! What would’ve surely taken several weekends if we would’ve done it ourselves was done in less than 2 hours. The team cleaned up everything and left the yard looking fantastic. Super nice crew as well. Worth every penny!

Stevens Tree Service just did some very extensive work on a huge old oak tree in my Mother’s yard in Palm Harbor and we could not be happier. They were extremely professional, prompt, courteous and did the work in a timely manner. The clean up afterwards was immense and they did a wonderful job on that as well and hauled everything away. I would definitely use them again.
