Calabria Pizza & Restaurant

I wish we lived closer to Dunmore so I could be a Calabria’s regular! We eat there just about every time we are in town. The food is wonderful — we often get «dinner for 2», which, for example, may be chicken Parmesan with pasta and salads. Really good and enough for leftovers the next day! The red pasta sauce is the tastiest and sweetest I’ve had anywhere. Service is fast and friendly and the prices are excellent! I highly recommend.

This is one of those places that looks very plain, but had dynomite pizza and dinners. The NY style pizza is awesome. The sauce is on the sweet side, but it is darn good. The waitresses are super sweet and welcoming. The prices of the food are super reasonable. We come here with small and large crowds and it is always a great experience. i would go to this place over a fancy italian restaurant any day.

Love the pizza here. Thin chewy crust with a sauce that has just a touch of sweetness instead of the bitterness most pizza sauces have. Pizza made quickly. Really enjoy this place.

We went there for dinner last night. Service was terrible and food was absolutely horrible. It took 15 mins before someone came over to our table with menus. Once we ordered the food came out piece by piece so the 1^st person was done before the last person even got their food. Half the food was left on the table because it was not even edible. I would not recommend this place to anyone ever.

If you like your sauce sweet, Calabria’s is a good choice! The service is always good and very friendly. The prices are a great deal. I can’t complain. I have never tried anything on the menu except the pizza and the antipasta so I can’t speak for their dinner items. As I mentioned the pizza sauce is sweet, which I love. If you don’t like sweet sauce, you won’t care for this pizza. I have never had a bad experience here.

Great food & great prices! If you’re a veggie like me try the hot veggie hoagie! My fiancée loves their italian. Salads are great & the pasta dinners are the best deal going! Pizza is yummy too! Yes the sauce is sweeter, but add some red pepper flakes & life is good :)

We stumbled in, and we had a great meal.
Tired and hungry, we had 6 people ready to eat after a day on the slopes. The front of the place does not do it justice. You can’t see a dining room from the front, and EAST Drinker is full of bars and pizza carry out type places. As such, we were not completely sure this place had seats.
It does.
We ordered up a storm, and were really happy to eat some basic italian food. This is not olive-​oil infused regional cooking were the chef was trained in Tuscany. This is NYC style, big pizzeria type italian. They do offer more more than your typical ‘joint” but it is very much a basic spaghetti joint.
The sauce they use is very sweet. You may or may not love that. But it worked for everyone at our table, including kids. They served us great steamed broccoli and garlic bread on the side.
I had eggplant parm, and it was great. I kind of liked the sweeter sauce, and my parm came with a side of ziti which was a nice addition. It was WAY WAY more food than I could eat myself, and I had it for lunch and dinner the next day.
The service was simply perfect. She kept the squirmy kids going with super fast salad and drinks, and then got the food out quickly, refilling drinks while in-​between. All that was very much appreciated.
3 adults, 3 kids – $ 75 and we ate like pigs.
All and all, it was a great meal in the nick of time!

Wow, three reviews love this place! Yikes… god awful pizza! Sauce is way too sweet for my tastes… sat 15 mins till our drinks even arrived. I ordered chicken Parmesan with pasta. The pasta was laying in water on the plate. Sauce as well, way too sweet! A total of 40 mins till the meal even arrived. Dining room was very warm, even as mentioned separately by three staff members during the time there. Yet, no one bothered to turn on the A/​C sitting in the wall unused! Definitely would NEVER return to this joint. Don’t waste your money, though, was obviously very popular with the locals. They must not have ever had really exceptionally good Italian food!

Gotta love Calibria’s! Very unique pizza (my wife’s fav). We dine in and the service is always great. Prices are good as well.

Good food at a great price, nice atmosphere.
They have recently undergone a remodel and it looks great!
I have grown up on their food. Sauce is a bit on the sweeter side if you like that and they have so many different items to choose from.
