Naan pizza! This place is awesome. Everything is sparkling clean and the food is so fresh. I love the rice bowls with tofu but also the naan pizza. You can also park for free in the garage across the street. Finally, Indian fast casual is here! Please open a location in DC!

Spice6 provides good Indian, quickly, at an affordable price. Hard to nail the golden triangle there, but I appreciate the niche there looking to fill. Lots of options to mix it up. I’ve stuck with a curry variant both times, lots of great sides to pile on top. Service has also been excellent.

The food is amazing. I’ve been twice this week and I’m about to go tonight and tomorrow with friends, don’t judge me. It’s clean, service is excellent, food was shockingly great. I mean, it wasn’t weighed down with oil. i went yesterday as soon as they opened, can you believe it’s all cooked fresh.

Glad I was able to swing by for lunch today. After seeing all the positive reviews and tips, I knew my inaugural meal had to be the naan pizza. The naan makes for a fantastic crust. Mine was made with Tikka Masala, mozzarella, paneer, tomatoes and cilantro. It was so good I had to check myself for involuntary sound effects, lol! Great food, friendly service, I’ll definitely be coming back soon.

Stopped by for lunch and got the lamb kabob entrée with tikki masala sauce. My room mate got the naan wrap with chicken tikkia masala and a side of samosa chaat. Our meals were between $ 13 – 15 without drinks — which is what I’d expect to pay in DC, but not Fairfax. We both thought the food was ok, but neither of us were impressed and decided we won’t be going back. There are better places with cheaper prices closer to us. Parking in the garage, taking the stairs up, and basically walking around the entire building was annoying compared to places I visit in Fairfax.

This is the place to go to get your fresh Indian food fix! I’ve been to their MD location many times. This location is just as good if not better. They are a small local business. They’ll greet you with a smile, and remember you by name if you eat there enough. They treat first timers well and help pick out a dish based on what you like. They bake fresh naan(with different seasonings of choice) in a fire pit right in front of your eyes. All other ingredients are also freshly prepared many times throughout the day! The ambiance is fresh, clean, well and decorated. I usually eat here many times per month. My favorites are the rice bowl, naan pizza and kabobs. My go to is usually a rice bowl with basmati rice, chick peas, chicken, Tikka Masala Curry, cilantro, lettuce, cheese, peppers, spicy green chutney, and a freshly baked naan on the side. They have since added new editions to their selection including seasoned rice and a different kind of chicken. They are all scrumptious in my opinion. They also offer special juices and traditional Indian desserts which are worth trying. If you eat here enough I definitely recommend getting the free Spice 6 app to pay, which will earn you $ 10 off every time you spend $ 100. If you are looking for something fresh and new, or if you are a seasoned customer from their other MD location, definitely eat here!

«Indian Chipotle.» The term that you’ll probably hear a lot when this place is talked about, and it’s only accurate in the sense that it’s an assembly-line style fast food place with Indian cuisine. At first glance at that description, you might think then that the authenticity or the taste might be diminished… but oh it is far from it. Spice 6 is an –excellent– Indian restaurant in its own right with its own creative twist on the assembly line structure. You can choose from a wide array of bases: rice bowl, salad bowl, naan wrap, naan pizza, and my personal favorite: the kabob platter! Now I will be honest and say this can probably considered a slightly pricier lunch, with the main dishes being from $ 10 to $ 14ish, but it is well worth in my opinion. The flavors are rich and authentic, and the ability to customize your dish is(like in any assembly-line establishment) teeming with variety and interesting combos(I would try to name all the different ingredients, but I don’t want to play around with words and spell them wrong.) Moreover, the kabob platter was HUGE. I am a mighty eater myself but finishing the kabob platter was not exceedingly easy for me. In my opinion, it is the best bang for your buck as the rice bowl is $ 2 less but has noticeably less volume. Nevertheless, it is a great place to get a very good meal. Located conveniently at/near the Dunn Loring Metro Station, all you need to do is walk down the block and see the establishment on your right. The location itself is very spacious with plenty of seating and nice décor. I look forward to coming back again to try the pizza!

Pizza with regular chicken and kadai masala is delicious. We added tomato, bell peppers, onions, cilantro, and cheese. The tikka masala in my rice bowl was spicier than I was expecting. If you are a spice wimp like me, ask for help!

I had the naan pizza with kadai masala, chicken, and lots of veggies. Ended up being one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a while. Also tasted the brown rice bowl with chicken, tikka masala, raita, and veggies. Also good but not as good as the pizza. I’m just glad this isn’t my metro stop because I’d eat here way too often. Hope one of these opens near me!

This place just opened in Dun loring. I have seen good reviews about this place at other locations and decided to try it out. We ordered a naan pizza and naan wrap. The pizza was absolutely amazing. Fresh, quick, spicy and looking extremely good. The naan wrap also was relatively good although not as good as the pizza. It could have been better. Overall good ambience, tasty and quick food make this place a really good experience. Will definitely come back

The service is what makes this place 5 Stars worthy! My husband and I were personally greeted by the owner/manager as we walked up to the counter to place our orders. The staffs assembling our orders were friendly and helpful — any requests were enthusiastically acknowledged with«Course of!». Second serving of toppings? Half and half proteins? Extra masala? Mix all the sauces? Yogurt on the side? — literally, any way I want! Even half way through our meal, one of the staffs approached our table to ask how we were doing and if there was anything else she could help. Honestly, this level of service in a fast food eatery is unheard of! I ordered the chicken(half mild, half spicy) salad bowl(half spinach, half kale) in korma and spinach masala along with chickpeas, tamarind, green chili, and yogurt sauce. Packed with flavor and enjoyed every bite! My husband ordered the lamb kabob platter plus tofu(additional $ 1) with brown rice in tikka masala sauce. I thought my salad bowl was a better value since the kabob platter was basically the rice bowl with each component separated(but $ 2 more). Nevertheless his platter was beyond delicious and he polished it within 10 mins! Overall — great value, delicious foods, outstanding service. If only they would open a location in DC!

Amazing, I come here probably twice a month. Their naan pizza is super delicious and I get it every time. The Mango Lassi is also amazing, I talked with the owner and he told me they make it fresh every day! The only thing I was not a huge fan of was their Kulfi which I believe they get from some place else so I can forgive them for that.

The rice bowl is fantastic with biryani! The nan pizza is excellent. The tofu and paneer are perfectly cooked. The décor is perfect. Excellent customer service. The Mango lassi tasted good, it helped me cool down :) Try the strawberry banana lassi as well. Rice Bowl: Biriyani, channa(chick peas), tofu, Gravy: korma masala, red tomato mild chutney,(get it on the side if you aren’t sure) Raw: lettuce, cilantro, jalapeño, onions, etc., Mix it all up in a bowl, its amazing. For $ 8.50, its worth it. Get a lot of napkins, it is called Spice 6 for a reason.

This place is great! Modern Indian food made quick, easy and accessible for those who haven’t tried it. Décor The décor is made up of lovely neutrals, light wood and accented with walls painted in a deep Mediterranean blue and bright lemon yellow. Industrial lightbulbs hang from the ceiling along with pretty modern light fixtures akin to flowery white pompander balls. Indian music plays softly in the background and light floods through the many windows. Food You can get traditional Indian dishes in any form you desire– bowl, wrap, pizza etc and you can even sprinkle American favorites, like lettuce tomato and cheese on top of you so desire. Very tasty and fresh. Staff Not bad, not great– passable. Pretty typical of a fast casual restaurant Going with kids? There is only one option– a bowl. It would be nice if they expanded to include child size wraps or pizzas, until then the kids will share the big entrees. They do have high chairs.

This place completely blew my friends and I away. As a foodie and entrepreneur I absolutely love the concept here. If Subway and Chipotle decided to have an Indian offspring? This is it. Make your own pizza? Or rice bowl? I implore any lover of Indian cuisine to come try this place out. The manager was welcoming and explained the concept so indepth to us. I will definitely be coming back!

This is my 2nd time here and I am even more impressed than I was at my eye-opening first visit. Usually these fusion type of spots veer too far off course from authentic tastes but I was pleasantly surprised that they they didn’t sacrifice quality for quantity or price. I had the Naan wrap the first time and that was amazing. This time I had the Naan Pizza and I have to say it is at the top of my list as far as pizza goes. All ingredients look, taste and feel fresh. They have a wide enough selection to keep my taste buds curious to try the next combination. One of the best values in a very competitive part of town…

One of the best places to grab Indian food! Gotta try their Naan pizza! You can build your own pizza with a nice selection of delicious meats, sauces, and toppings on a freshly made piece of Naan. I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area and in the mood for Indian food!

I’m picky about meat. If there is gristle or visible fat, I’m not having any. The lamb bowl here was just to my liking! Tender nuggets of meat that had been carefully trimmed. I chose brown rice, lettuce, chick peas, and yogurt to go with the protein. The reason that I did not give five stars, was that the chick peas were spicy… I would have liked to know that ahead of time. Manager is friendly, staff okay but slightly rushed though there was no one else in line. For a «fast food Indian» restaurant, I think it’s good.

The Naan Pizza was better than I expected! I always appreciate new, innovative ways to make pizza. Used tika masala, a tomato-based Indian purée, as the sauce and added chicken, cheese, onion, chopped tomatoes, and cilantro. They put a good helping of cheese so it was nicely melted. The chicken with tika masala flavor surprisingly complimented the pizza very well. I also tried their rice bowl because I always get rice bowls from chipotle and cava. Basmati rice, half chicken half lamb, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, masala, yogurt, and both spicy chutnies. Even with all those flavors, to my surprise, it felt one-dimensional. Tasted like it was missing something so I was a bit disappointed. So Naan Pizza — YAS! Rice bowl — meh.

It’s funny because I was eating cava the other day and was wondering why no one made an Indian chipotle. THERICEBOWL. I order it with basmati rice, tikka masala sauce, half chicken and half lamb, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, raita(yogurt sauce), and spicy chutney. You would think I’d get punched in the face with all those flavor ingredients but to my disappointment, it tasted generic. Each bite felt like it was missing something. The portion they give you is huge so it’s still a bargain. NAANPIZZA. I’ve seen this on tv and thought it was just a cute gimmick. Let me tell you it’s not! I really enjoyed it. Indian pizza is a gift from the Hindu Gods. Long story short, the pizza is better than the bowl… but that’s naan of my business!

I feel like this is one of those it’s-not-you-it’s-me instances. Spice 6 has has a wonderful concept and exceptional customer service, but I just wasn’t super into the bowl I had yesterday evening. It had nothing to do with the quality of the ingredients or the taste(for what you’re paying, Spice 6 has pretty top-notch ingredients); it was more of a personal preference thing as I prefer the more traditional experience of Indian dining versus the fast food version. That being said, I am definitely not opposed to coming back to Spice 6 for another go, especially since I still want to try out the naan pizza! My boyfriend and I ordered the bowl with basmati rice, chicken, chick peas, yogurt sauce, and a wide variety of veggies(tomatoes, onions, cilantro, peppers). We also ordered a side of naan. From what I understand, they offer chicken, lamb, tofu, and paneer(cheese) as bases. In terms of quantity, the bowl is quite large. I ended up giving about 1⁄3 of the bowl to my boyfriend because they filled that thing up to the brim! The naan was decent tasting and HUGE. I don’t think I’ve ever seen naan that big before. I didn’t hate the bowl, per se, but I was missing that flavor bomb you get with Indian food from a sit-down restaurant. Until next time… stay tuned for a review update. — Garage parking and street parking available — Walking distance from the metro

Spice 6 is fast food Indian food. To preface the review, the concept is good think Cava except with Indian cuisine. It’s definitely unique since every other Indian places I know of are sit down restaurants. With that being said I definitely prefer the sit down atmosphere for Indian food. I feel like the food here is not as well seasoned/flavorful, in fact in my opinion it’s more on the bland side for an Indian establishment. I had the rice bowl with basmati rice, chick peas, chicken, kadia masala sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion, pepper, cilantro, cheese and the yogurt sauce. The selection of things you can put into the bowl is decent. As far as meat is concerned you can either get chicken or lamb which might be a bit limited for some. The food here is bland for my taste and it personally got tiring for me after approximately half way into the bowl. It didn’t have that nice zest/kick/oomph to satisfy my taste buds. The main reason why I enjoy Indian food is for the flavorful and deep aroma, but at this establishment I feel like they toned it down a notch. Portion size is decent for what you pay for. I also ordered a naan on the side– naan and the bowl will definitely fill you up. So in conclusion Spice 6 is not horrible and is perfect for people new to Indian food. If you would like to to test out if you fancy Indian cuisine, I would recommend you try out this establishment. For veterans who are seeking for the strong flavor you typically get from eating the standard Indian fare I would recommend eating at a sit down restaurant. Next time I come back I will be trying out the pizza and skipping the rice bowl.

**3.5 stars** I love their concept of a naan pizza since I haven’t seen any other restaurants in the area having it! I got a chicken tikka naan pizza per recommendation by a nice lady who worked there. My bf got a spicy lamb combo, the lamb was a little tough but the seasoning was nice. However, the food here compared to other indian restaurants is average but for a fast food indian joint, it hits the spot.

The pizza was great! I’ve never been to a place that had Indian pizza. The chicken was extremely flavorful and the sauce selections were good. I had the tikka masala sauce as the base, topped with chicken, jalapeño, cilantro, onions, cheese and tomato drizzled with a spicy chutney. It was full of flavor and spice. The establishment was clean and nicely decorated. The customer service was on par as well. I’ll definitely be back. Oh and I even got a rice bowl to go! I haven’t tried it yet but I’m sure it’ll be top notch.

Tried this fast casual Indian restaurant next to the Dunn Loring metro and was pretty happy. I tried the pizza due to positive reviews. I put on paneer(the Indian cheese) and also chicken for extra 2 dollars. You get to pick the sauce(I chose the masala) and a few other toppings too and they add mozzarella cheese. It is very hot when they are done. The pizza is enough for some left overs if eaten by one person. Tasted pretty good. Husband got one of the chicken with rice. It comes with a side of chick peas and a small salad. We were both pretty full afterwards. I want to try something with the Korma(almond based) sauce and also the tofu next time. Friendly fast service. They could advise a little more for novices when choosing toppings.

So far, so good! Friendly staff, and the naan pizza is stellar! I love the tikka masala, and the variety of spice levels(a little nod to their name, I suppose). The mango lassi is a bit thin, but I find that authentic mango lassi is hard to come by, especially when making it for the masses. I’d pass on the mango lassi — unless you mix it with the strawberry counterpart; just temper your expectations, this is more a very tasty smoothie, not much of a lassi. I’m hopeful this place will stick!
