Café Duson is a small café located on the first floor of the Duke Nursing School building that offers up your standard cup of joe, salads, soups, and sandwiches. The food isn’t bad and the coffee is hot, but the menu isn’t all that diverse. The staff is always very friendly, and it is located right off of a large window heavy atrium that can serve as a nice spot to relax, eat your lunch, and get some work done. All in all, not a bad option for a quick bite or coffee on Duke’s West Campus(albeit a bit of a hike from the main portion of the campus).

Located in the school of Nursing, this café serves reasonable coffee to keep me energized throughout the day. They also have hot food offerings at lunch time — varying day to day depending on the theme. The best thing about the place is their general friendliness and the glass atrium right next to the café where you can chill for a little while before continuing with the daily grind. PS. They are environmentally friendly — bring your own cup to save a bit of money.
