We’re building a house and searching for some interesting elements, like reclaimed wood, old mantels, etc. The ReUse Warehouse has a HUGE inventory of everything from old light fixtures, bathtubs, shutters, doors – you name it and you can probably find it here. In all the chaos of the warehouse, we found almost everything to be marked with a price, and if not, we had a price sheet the staff gave us when we arrived. Pus, the staff was available and super helpful. The prices are really good, but compared to other reclaimed wood places, there is no background story as to the origin of the wood or item(like, wood was pulled from old barn, etc.) or age. Through this process we’ve learned that if you want this charm, it comes with a premium price. We will definitely be back. Cool items included lots of black walnut boards and granite and marble remnants priced at $ 5 and $ 10 a sq. foot, depending on thickness. Negative: be careful of dog poop in the yard.

This place is a magical find!!! There are rows and rows of lumber, windows, old metal bits and bobbles, sinks, lights, salvage ah equipment. You could spend a few hours and still not see everything! The prices are very reasonable and the staff could not be nicer. I will definitely be coming back regularly to see what’s new and find some cool pieces to work on some furniture flips. If you’re looking for some inspiration or some cool pieces to transform a room or an art piece this hidden gem is a must! The warehouse is located behind a row of industrial looking store fronts on Greer street. Look for the gate on the far left and follow the drive around to the back.

We were thrilled to find a used Kohler utility sink for a nice discount off new. They have a nice supply of vintage tubs, sinks, windows, and doors. The staff are helpful. I believe they offer true reenameling surfacing to cast iron fixtures, both ones you buy from there and those you already own.

First of all, they’re off of Geer St, not Taylor. Second, the place is awesome. Huge, full of old windows, reclaimed lumber, mantles, tile, doors, fixtures. Didn’t purchase anything this time, but prices looked reasonable and I imagine they might be flexible. It’s everything you want the«construction» part of the Habitat for Humanity ReStore to be. And there’s a quite handsome Brit to greet you on the way in. Definitely going back ;)
