My fiancé suggested we stop into the café this morning as we were passing through town and I’m glad he did. The Red Canyon Café offers a wide variety of sandwiches and homemade baked goods. We tried the Brush Creek Sandwich, which consisted of a bagel with a generous portion of egg, bacon, cheese and sausage. We also had a Cinnamon Roll and a perfectly mixed latte to drink. All items were delicious! Thank you for the great food and friendly hospitality Red Canyon Café.

Service was sorely laking. Ambiance was good but food was so-so. No lattes available at the time and no one seemed concerned about our standing there needing service.

Seriously good selection of sandwiches. If you’re looking for lunch and nothing fancy, this is the place. Plus, the staff is super friendly without being obnoxious.

Our first visit to Colorado and we were checking out the small towns on the way to Vail. Loved the little town of Eagle. We ventured away from the highway to the old downtown — clearly marked by signs The Red Canyon Café is on the left side of the very short downtown street. All of us ordered the California cheesesteak sandwich and we all loved it. The beef was lean and well seasoned. The red peppers added great flavor. The cheese was creamy and mild. All atop a delicious ciabatta bun. Although the building is old, everything was clean and well cared for. Highly recommend.

Just ate here, my wife and I, on a Unilocal recommendation. She had the Greek salad and I had a ciabatta sandwich. Small portions. High priced. These ratings are overrated. My Ratings: a profound ‘meh…’

Five stars all the way! Working down the street, I am lucky enough to be able to grab lunch at Red Canyon regularly. Everyone there is pleasant and cheerful. The bread is delicious and the ingredients are always fresh. The menu has a ton of great options(tuna salad is my favorite) and additions/substitutions are never a problem. Yes, it’s not as cheap as Subway, but I feel the quality merits the small difference in price.

Simple food, simple atmosphere but wow, it is done right! Stayed two days in Eagle and ate lunch here both times. Super friendly people, big menu of sandwiches and salads. They also have coffee and espresso but we didn’t order anything of that sorts. They have a cooler full of upscale beverages. If you get a salad you have to try the pesto ranch! Kudos to this spot!

I love this place. The food is great and the employees treat the regulars awesomely. They always great me by my name and ask me if I would like my Italian stallion sandwich and my iced mocha. The environment is awesome too and they have fun books to read.

This place is an awesome I look place. The staff is super friendly. The coffee and everything is reasonably priced. I’ve had a couple of Latte’s and coffee and it’s all good. If you haven’t gone to red canyon you should do so you won’t be disappointed!

We found this little sandwich shop on our way for a short mountain vacation. We had got off the highway because of the sign for Heidi’s, but that turned out to be halfway to Gypsum. As we drove through town, we saw this place and decided to give it a try. Sometimes serendipity leads you true. There was a wide variety of sandwich options, including vegetarian. We had great sandwiches and the staff was extremely friendly. The bread was excellent. We will stop by every time we are nearby — I only wish they were in Denver.

I’ve been here a few times now and I really like it. The coffee is great, the food is awesome, and the staff is so friendly you can’t help but smile. I like getting a power pellet and coffee before I hit the ski hill.

They have a ton Of sandwich options and fresh ingredients. The downfall is that it is pretty pricey and I have to say the sandwich was just ok.

This place is absolutely phenomenal. I am definitely a coffee shop snob and Red Canyon is FORSURE in my top five of all the places I’ve been. Surprisingly, the food here is WAYYYYYY above average. It seems like in this valley you usually only get good coffee or good food but not both. This place is the ONLY coffee shop in the area with good coffee and an amazing menu. Their hot sandwiches are fabulous. In addition to the food, the employees, including the owner, are pretty much the most fabulous individuals you’ll ever meet. I’m pretty sure it would be impossible to come here having a bad day, and leave feeling the same way! YES, they are just that awesome! :)They will make you feel like family, they are efficient, especially considering the number of ppl packed in there during peak times, they have repeat customer cards and they make great suggestions as well.(Get the jasmine tea latte with soy milk aka«the hills are alive», it’s a WELL kept secret that’s not on the menu but it’s SOOOOAMAZING). However, It’s too bad they couldn’t expand a little. My only complaint, and a VERY minor one at that, is the size of the shop. There are only about 5 – 6 two-person tables inside and it’s pretty narrow. So after you order you don’t have many places to wait without feeling like your standing back in line. HOWEVER, It’s really not a deal breaker. To be honest, the quality of service and fabulous food make being slightly squished WELLL worth it.
