For the ingredients I buy, it is the least expensive store I have been to. I love talking with the ladies that run the place and they know their stuff! Free advice and usually a free taste of something good. I buy every recipe from this shop.

The prices seemed slightly higher than my usual brewshop, but I’ve definitely seen more expensive as well. The lady working said they were low on ingredients because they had had a busy week — they were out of a couple very common ingredients that I wanted, yet I was surprised to find the less common items that I needed for my recipe. The staff was great and helpful, the store was well-kept. I liked that they offer in-store classes. They also promote local breweries by offering information and coupons. They have sample homebrews on tap for customers to grab a glass!!!

Stumbled across this place right next door to Costco in Gypsum. Wine or Wort is a newish business, but they’ve hit the ground running. They have everything a would-be vintner or even a veteran brew-meister needs to set up shop and get the carboys fermenting away. They also have regular events like beer, wine & cheese making classes and game nights among other activities. Undoubtedly, a much needed addition to the Vail Valley!
