Worst Spanish food ever. The plates are dirty and the food is greasy. Stay away from this restaurant at all cost, they are rude and very unprofessional, when I asked for the manager they refused to come out of the kitchen, and as I looked he was picking his nose, later they informed me that he was the Ramiro the owner, after what I saw there was no need to talk to no manager. Really disgusting… never going back that place.

By far my favorite place anywhere near East Boston to get the Colombian typical dish(Montanero plate.) I’ve been getting take-out/delivery since 2004 and it’s definitely the best bang for your buck, as well as the most delicious.

A Colombian dive bar in East Boston with an attractive wait staff. This place is good to grab a cold beer, but as a gringo you may feel a little out of place with the blaring latin music. Din’t try the food but the beer was just fine and the bartender was attentive.

I ordered the«small» tipicos(?) de res, the second item on the mains menu, which turned out to be already an enormous plate of food for $ 8.50. The most memorable part of my plate was the chicharrón, served as a big long strip of deep fried pork belly cut so that when cooked, it looked like a chain of firecrackers, a delicious explosion of pig. I was also a big fan of the beans, and the rice, which was unusually fragrant and smelled like it was cooked with a generous dose of lard. The steak was also pounded thin and cooked well done, but still tender and delicious. The cornbread I didn’t know what to make of, but overall it was an incredibly tasty and satisfying dinner. They have hot chocolate on the menu, but it’s Swiss Miss. Don’t be fooled.

I ate here a few times and each time was really tasty. I got a typical colombian plate which included meat, yucca, chicharron, rice and salad. For $ 10 it was enough for 2 and was really tasty. It was a little difficult communicating with the waitress, but it made it more fun. They have all the typico latin dishes and theyre all really good.
