Pelham Parkway North

Beautiful park along a parkway. Lots of trees and places for both dog lovers and families to sit and play. In the summer, big shady trees keep you cool as families and couples picnic. Lots of locals choose to layout and catch rays as well. To the guys who wear those speedos– there are kids running around! In the Autumn the leaves change color and it’s nice to watch kids pick up fallen leaves Looking for that perfect leaf. Winters with snow bring families back with sleds and tobaggins. Some parts of this park have an incline but majority of it is more flat. Runners, bikers, skaters and blazers are here year round. Thanks to NYC parks dept for filling in lots of holes and cracks.
Been coming here for over 20 years. Love it year round. You can also follow the parkway towards the Bronx Zoo and Pelham bay park.
