Denny’s

Went on a Sunday evening. Not very busy. We were brought to our table quickly, but the floor, especially around our table was filthy. There were things on the floor that had obviously been stepped on and were left ground in to the rug. Filthiest restaurant I’ve ever been in. We decided if it was this bad where customers could see it, it was likely worse where we couldn’t. We didn’t bother to order, we just left.

Poor service. Wait staff not friendly. Menu option isn’t bad but food may or may not cause diarrhea (most likely the former). No wonder they get much less customers than their immediate neighbor, IHOP.

In the end, what was originally a quiet dinner with my family was turned into a farce. Our server, Jennifer, was unable to get even the simplest order right. We were brought cold coffee, and when we brought up the issue, we were brought another cold cup of coffee. Only later was this resolved. Afterwards, with the meal itself, one order was completely wrong, with the wrong omelette brought to us. When we mentioned this, we were met with annoyance from the server, after which she conceded that she was wrong. Similarly, one other order was missing the bread, and other foods were lukewarm. For dessert, two slices of pie were ordered, and one came with a broken crust. In the end, a hefty charge for horrid service made us decide. Never come back here again!

Busy Sunday morning, they lost our name on the waiting list doubling our wait time, no sodas since machines was broken. Our waiter was apologetic and did a good job. Food was fine, typical diner fare, but I felt it was a little pricey for what we ordered.

Wait time was not bad. Dining room was filthy and way too crowded for the amount of people here. Waiter was friendly, but very very slow and barely came to check on us. Food took almost 40 minutes to be brought out. Food was tasty enough once we got it. Would not come back here again.

The food was horrid. The coffe was just ghastly tasted like dish water. It made McDonald’s look 5 star. The service was awful didn’t get any utensils n napkins till after the food came out. I asked for a spoon to stir my coffee never got one. The guy ignored us mostly. If you are hungry and starving I would recommend anything else but here. First place i ever in my life have not left a tip

I ordered my usual, which is the vegetable skillet with egg whites, it’s low on calories and fills you up, hubby gets the pecan pancakes also with egg whites and turkey bacon for some reason they gave him sausage which is not what the menu offers and waiter tried telling my husband he asked for them? Not the case! Oh they charged for a small side of salsa! In my Denny’s in Corona CA it’s complimentary and its in a small bowl not a tiny black plastic cup for a $ 1.09 purely a ripoff but whatever! We’re only visiting and don’t want to ruffle feathers!

Not very lively or crowded whenever I did come here. I like a little more energy in the place when I eat, with people chatting, noises of people eating. Here it seems a bit more subdued, like a truck stop on the highway where people eat quickly and go. I know realistically that’s not the case — there are families and couples here, but still. Just my first initial vibe. Also, the colors are kind of dark. Doesn’t feel bright and airy like iHop which is coincidentally, right down the road.
Always able to find a seat!
Not an open floor plan kind of space, so it feels like you’re close off from others, OR have more privacy — whichever is your preference.
to the right when you walk in, there are little bar stool chairs, giving off that above stated truck stop diner vibe. It’s definitely unique for sure. so if you want to sit there for something different, go for it!
I’ve always had good service. Waiters came around on time, I wasn’t hounding or flagging them down.

24 hours diner restaurant that serves up plenty of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. I ordered the nachos, chicken fried steak skillet, and the unsweetened ice tea. The nachos were surprisingly tasty and the chicken fried steak was decent. Had better but also definitely had worse. The entire menu is reasonably priced. The staff was friendly enough but service was slow even when the restaurant was not busy at all. Will be back for a good value but no frills meal.

totally unprofessional…, the sign said please wait for hostess to seat you… No hostess came at all… A cashier was ringing up peoples bills… an employee was walking around with a mop… What a joke… plus the parking lot is dumb…

The critics are right! This place really is horrible with service and food quality. We got seated pretty fast. And we were waiting for a long time for the waiter. Ice we have our order and we decided to order appetizers also. That we were told was coming late because the food was already being made (understandable) our meals came out together… Totally wrong. We got things we didn’t ask for on the make your own burger. Especially since we stopped eating bacon. We told them to make a new one. They didn’t. They pretended and bought out the same burger. The waiter even told us she didn’t know how they put it in, it was written in your notes. We kept our mouths shut. Cause we won’t come back again. We saw how everyone was being treat and we all felt the same the service from those kids were horrible. Never again. This experience put the only bad taste in going to another Denny’s again. Been here plenty of times prior to this morning visit. Having breakfast and found a peice of hair in our food. Never again will I walk into this restaurant. Waitress was very understanding and took the plate away and the item off our check. But still gross.

Been here a number of times for my pancake-​bacon-​eggs fix. Quick, hospitable, consistent. Weekends get crowded, so it’s sometimes a 5 min wait to be seated. Coffee’s not bad but always wish they had some choices in that department. Have tried a couple of the breakfast skillets as well, and they’ve been filling (and a little greasy). The convenience/​proximity will ensure we pop in once in a while.

Worst dennys ever came in around 3:08 wasnt seated till 320 and was seated in a table that had sat empty the wholetime I sat and was told to wait for by the wait staff. then it took till 4:23 am to receive everyones food except my own which was only pancakes the easiest thing to make that was ordered. Horrible service!!!

Stopped in on our way home. There were a few people waiting but it didn’t take long to get seated. Have never really bothered with Dennys much and if I do, it is usually for breakfast. Today I grabbed a burger and have to say it was pretty good. Good size and cooked properly. Can’t ask for much more from a Dennys. To top it off, we had a very nice waitress who was friendly and did her job well!

Dont go to this place the service is horriable i saw a couple walk right out becsuse they were waiting for ever for their food i sat down the hostess is the server as well not enough staff working first a young waiter guy passes by me like three times i said im ready to order he says im coming hold on he starts cleaning the tables then he procedes to put the dishes in the dish holder i stare at him like whats the story then the hostess/​server comes from the other side Nd says im taking your order i said whats going on here i get my food the broccoli is cold i tell the waitress excuse me this is cold she brings me new broccoli then im waiting around she passes by me dont even ask me if i needed any thing else i said excuse me. Want a order of pAncake poopies to go and here is my dennys card she says oh wait what ever discounts u have take it to the front so i waited for the check never got it i had to leave the table come to the front wait for her to wait on the other tables when she passes by me like three times i said excuse me give me my check i wanna leave she says to me im sorry the kitchen is backed up i said ok who is taking my card points and where is my check please she walks away and says notning they have teenagers working here with no skills no manners no custumer service skills stay away from this place they are rude and they dont know how to treat people

Love this place ! Visit regularly and always have really good servers and good food !

1 star for the service tonight. My pregnant wife had a craving so we went for a late snack. Order over the phone take out. Went to pick it up and I stood there waiting for someone to help me for like 20 minutes. Unbelievable.

Place isnt bad. I would prefer this over perkins and consider it comparable to ihop but I like their 2÷4÷6÷8 menu. I started with the cheese quesadilla and got the chicken chorizo skillet. I thought it was pretty good and the service was quick even though it was crowded

Good value for what it is and that’s a chain diner that markets itself well nationwide. Many aspects in life require expectation modification. I typically go to a buffet looking for quantity over quality, the mall provides tons of stores albeit minimal high end designers, blind date with your grandma’s friends niece and a a meal at a chain.
Denny’s has all the normal diner fair on a lesser quality scale, but the prices are consistency affordable and the food rarely varies in delivery from chain to chain. I have to admit my last 4 visits involved friends or me enjoining the free breakfast slam. $ 7 but FREE for the B-​dayer includes 2 eggs cooked your way, 2 bacon, 2 sausage links & 2 pancakes (coffee is extra boo). Yes they have all the basic lunch and dinner options priced well again, but I don’t think I’ve dined on anything other then breakfast.
So if breakfast is on you mind at any time go get your Denny’s on especially if your B-​day is or was within the last week.
