Located right on route 18 in East brunswick, good location.
Chi is pretty much the only nail technician that knows what she’s doing so she’s usually Jumping around from person to person trying to multi task which I’m sure is hard but at the same time it’s kind of ridiculous to run your establishment this way. All of the other women do not speak any English and they can barely do a regular manicure so if you have an appointment expect to wait at least a half hour-​hour after then just to be taken &rushed through
Every time I get my nails done I always make an appointment and I’ve been coming to this nail salon for over a year (on&off) and I’ve NEVER ONCE had my appointment taken on time.
The prices could be better, 30 – 40 for a fill-​in with gel Polish

I am from Maine and always nervous to go to a new salon. Chi was amazing! She did a beautiful job and in record time. HIGHLY recommend!

It was clean, quiet. I was a walk in. I was the only one in. I didn’t get Chi, I have no idea who she was. The girl I had was OK. The TV was showing an old movie, which was annoying. The old lady was listening to music which interfered with the TV (annoying).
I got a pedi and mani.
Pros — it was what it was, clean,
Cons — there was a lot of colors — but a lot looked old. There were workers sitting around I thought they should be doing something like testing the colors.
It was hard to understand the lady I had.
The lady who rang my up, had no idea they didn’t accept American Express.
My pet peeve — don’t speak another Language in front of me — but I am sure it was for directions.

This salon is great. It’s kept very clean and the girls are extremely friendly. Always ask for Chi specifically because the other nail techs aren’t too great. Only complaint I have is that sometimes when I make an appointment she doesn’t see me for 20 – 45 minutes and I can’t really waste any time on my day off… But Chi is ALWAYS worth the wait because she does nails perfectly! I really hope she keeps up the good work

Chi is great. My nails last a month easy and never chip or break, BUT I’ve been coming here for about 3 months and I’ve had an appointment each time. I’ve never, not once, been taken on time. I wait a minimum of 20 minutes, sometimes more, which infuriates me, but Chi is really that good. So I suck it up. We’ll see how long that lasts though. It’s getting old. My time is valuable and it’s really very frustrating.

I’ve been to this salon a number of times over the past few years. The owner is really the only one people come to see if they want to get tips. With that being said she has to rush through and do multiple people at a time. Because of this the nails come out crooked or not looking as good as they should. The other nail techs are sub par. The atmosphere is okay they just re-​organized the place. The only real good thing about it is she has many options like 3D nails and crystals. I go here when I’m in a crunch and don’t have many other options

Nails 18 is great for crystal fills. Chi is the best nail tech there. Only use her!

decided to give this place a try after i came across their instagram and saw all the fabulous designs. NOW MY QUESTION is, who is doing these designs? OUT OF 4 women in the salon, ONE spoke english. i asked for a manicure and she cut and filed my nails, cut the cuticles and told me to wash my hands. i sat back down and she took out the polish like she was ready to paint. i said no lotion or warm towel? i call that a polish change NOT a manicure. my friend got a gel manicure and asked for a simple design, a santa’s belt… a square and two lines. the woman couldn’t even do it…
when i confronted them about their «manicure» the woman had to get someone else cause she couldn’t understand. i said it to their face and i’ll write it here. I’LL NEVER GO BACK and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone :)

Very clean and whoever came up with matching Gel colors with regular polish by number do my fingers and toes match has my eternal gratitude! Trish is my fav for acrylics. The pedis are also good. Pricing is comparable. NOTE: they prefer that tips be cash. Usually closed on Tuesdays. Very pleasant owner and staff.

Went a few days ago. It was a busier than usually. Got a pedicure which came out great. There was only one nail technician that knew what she was doing the rest were ladies that can do a simple manicure. The nail technician did a sloppy job. Rushed through the whole process bc she was assisting 4 other people at same time. From a distance my nails look fine but up close you can see all the flaws. The designs are crooked, there’s bubbles in the polish and overall it could have been better

This place is nice and clean the staff is friendly but there prices are a bit steep… I wanted a gel manicure and they charged me 25. That is crazy to me i have never paid more that 15 EVER for a gel manicure. The manicure sucked (probably just the girl that did it for me) The only reason i am even giving them 2 stars is that they where extremely nice, and they had a solid color selection.

Gave this place a second try. It was even worse than the first time. They refused to fix their mistakes. Then when they finally fixed their mistakes they charged me $ 2 for every extra mistake they made. The owner was nothing but ignorant. She was not only rude to me but treated her employes like shit.

I went to Nails 18 because my regular place couldn’t take me, and my daughter has been recommending them for a few months. I have a few criteria that I’m looking for in a nail salon: Do they honor my appointment? Do I enjoy the experience? How does everything look when they’re done? And, of course Do my nails hold up?
I made an appointment (of course) and, when I got there, they took me right away. I had a gel manicure, a pedicure (added the sea salt scrub — nice touch), and facial waxing. The pedicure was lovely — I loved the chairs, and the massage. During the manicure, they didn’t hurt me at all. I loved the fact that they had nail polishes for my pedicure that are the same color as the gels they use for the manicure. They had a nice, private waxing room. Everything was clean and well kept. Everyone was very pleasant, and made me feel special. My manicure and pedicure came out wonderfully and lasted for over a month. Oh, and my total bill was just about half what I would have spent at my regular place. Guess who has a new «regular» place …
The only reason I didn’t give them a five star rating is because, while they did take me right away for my appointment, the woman who was doing my manicure was apparently double booked. She was going back and forth working on two people. I recommended that she do my waxing while she finished up the other woman, and then she was able to focus on me when I returned. I’ll have to see how that works going forward.

After hearing raving reviews on this place from friends and coworkers, I decided to give it a try. I came in for a pedicure and manicure (which together only costs $ 25!) and was pleasantly surprised. The woman who did my pedicure was named Julie and she was great. She really took her time and shaped my feet to perfection. This is probably the best they have looked in a while. My manicure was just as good; she didn’t hack my nails off and didn’t cut me while trimming my cuticles. Only downside — like a previous reviewer had written, the nail polish is very old and the selection is slim. I had brought my own polishes with me, but the top coat they had used had bubbled as soon as I put my hands under the dryer. The woman also put very thick coats of polish on my nails which made the drying process take much longer than usual. I would definitely recommend this place and would return if I ever needed a manicure/​pedicure in a pinch again!

I’ve been going to this salon off and on for a while even through the change of ownership. The new owner is great she can do excellent designs on nails and feet. Her pedicures are the BEST in town and she is great with eyebrows as well.
The reason I give the salon a three star is because the products are garbage. The nail polish is old and clumpy and even the gel polish that I primarily get seems to bubble once I leave the salon. If I go back to fix it she does it with no problems but… why should I have to.
I recommend here for pedicures and for manicures if you’re going on vacation and need a design.
