Went for lunch and the place was cold every one had jackets on eating and now i know why it was dead along with the prices very high for the area. The place was not clean at all as the manager sat watching tv with his jacket on. Ill never go back.

Who came up with the idea to include side on the wings as an appetizer, what happen when someone order a burger or fish and chips as an entrée after that? The bartender girl should have asked if I want celery instead, yes she’s trained on how to make drinks but not properly ordering foods. I think celery should have been a side for the wings as a first choice if customer didn’t ask. That menu need to be totally reworked. Aside from some bartender girls lack of experience for ordering foods, if customer is not sure what to order, they should ask customers instead and there were just other flavors of wings I didn’t know. By the way, when I went to the bathroom and came back, the bartenders think I walked away as she told me and she didn’t even asked if I want to closed the tab and yes I almost walked away without paying the bill because of it! When I got the bill I was charged for 3 red Bull tea because of refill, the other TK places didn’t charge me for that. Ps when I complaint about that order gave me extra fries, one other bartender gave me the comment oh well extra carbs wouldn’t hurt! I walked away paying the bill but giving $ 0 on tips! Finally the bathroom paper towel feeder machine never work, that’s not just on one TK, that multiple other locations I’ve been to.

Every single surface of this«restaurant» was sticky! There were bugs flying all over the place. I don’t even remember how the food tasted because I spent my entire time in fear, trying to avoid all the bugs. I needed a shower after eating here. Gross.

May God have mercy on us all. The only redeeming quality is that the heat works during the winter. If you gave this place a 4 or more, thanks for the laughs. Correction: Felt a draft.

By far the best place to come to in East Brunswick. Great apps, great service, and always a great crowd.

There aren’t many places to grab a drink in EB, so my friend and I decided to head here since we were at the mall anyway. I’ve never eaten here but have heard that the food is good and the staff for the most part is friendly. I’ve always been able to get a seat at the bar too. On the most recent occasion, the beer list we were given was out of date because 3 of the beers we tried to order weren’t there. Also, the happy hour prices(3.50 domestic, 4 import) from 3 – 7 M-F were I guess not programmed correctly into the computer and my friend and I were overcharged. I politely asked about the discrepancy and was told that that Happy Hour prices on the flyer that she handed me were out of date and the computer was more accurate. Ummm ok. Not cool. Luckily the manager took off the difference but not before our waitress insisted that we had to close out immediately after we sat down– I guess because her shift was over. It was just awkward. Hopefully next time will be a better experience!

Absolutely HORRIBLE. If you are reading this and sitting down, get up and leave. Horrible service, our order was incorrect and our waitress was no where to be found. We both felt sick after eating a few bites of food.

So the Tilted Kilt is a chain of restaurants that features slightly better than fast food and scantily clad waitresses … think Hooters, Braveheart chapter. The East Brunswick location has done a very nice job of hiring very pretty and lithe waitresses(Rutgers degrees are apparently good for something). Too bad being good at waiting tables isn’t a high requirement. While the gals are attractive, they weren’t very good waitresses, nor did they appear to enjoy working in a place that features them in little more than swim suits. Over the course of a football game, we had a total of four waitresses serve us and all four left something to be desired in the service department(no not like that: P). Enough so that it turned into an amusing drinking game between me and my buddy. The food at Tilted Kilt is edible but nothing that’s really memorable. Burgers and nachos and similar type pub grub. You won’t come here for the food but you won’t leave here because of it either. The reason I give this particular location 3 stars and not 2 … the big screen TVs. My friend and I came here to watch a football game and were treated not only to four mammoth jumbotrons showing our favorite team, but a host of other wide screens showing all of the other games that were being played. It was football nirvana. The waitresses did a good job of checking in every so often to see if we needed more food/drinks/refills(gotta give credit where credit is due) and nobody pressured us to eat/drink and leave. That’s how you run a sports bar. All in all a good time and I would come back again for another football game.

Not so great food and it was dirty a little but it has nice pictures and nick knacks on the walls and the TV made it a nice place to watch a game

I’ve been to Tilted Kilt the last 4UFC events and I will continue to go. I don’t have any complaints about the service or food. I got the same girl the first two times I ate there, now I request her. Kayla is personable and full of energy. She makes you feel like it’s not just a job but she’s enjoying herself and your company. Makes me feel welcome and want to go back. Highly recommend TK for fight night and also highly recommend Kayla as your waitress!

Went for Sunday football… pretty boring. No dj. No crowd to speak of. Decent special 1 lb. Wings + a pitcher of beer $ 12… However the place is LOADED with fruit flies… YUCK.

The food is fine, average… no problems but not remarkable. The service is super slow however. I don’t know if it’s because I go with my boyfriend and the girls feel uncomfortable giving us attention because they’re use to flirting? I don’t know but it takes a whileee to get a beer or the check. The girls barely check on us. A lot of «hillbillies» go, the kind with trucks and sometimes the Confederate flag… no problem with me but it makes up the atmosphere a bit. Décor is cute. Overall, ehh. We never leave too thrilled or happy, just ok.

Great place to watch PPV Fights, enjoy drinks and beer food. The staff are very friendly and the place is not overcrowded. Their signature boneless chicken wings are superb. I had it with their«Kilt Burner Sauce», which is their own hot sauce. Has enough heat and not overbearing. It went well with the«Irish American» Beer Cocktail. The serving size, however, was smaller than I hoped for. Their Irish Beef Nachos with beer cheese, on the other hand, had a very generous portion. It was a perfect match with their American Patriot Beer Cocktail. This place is worth going back to.

For what it is, it’s not bad! Pretty much the Irish version of hooters. If you’re going here expecting to be blown away by fine dining and service of a five star restaurant, however, yes you will be disappointed. Wise up! It’s a sports bar! And as I mentioned for what it is, it’s not bad at all. Quite a good tap list of craft beer in addition to all your run of the mill heini and bud lite assortment. The large amount of TVs is a bonus for sports nuts, and the apps that I’ve had are good for bar food. The grilled tilted wings were good(with what I’m assuming translates to buffalo sauce, since our waitress insisted that they are not called buffalo wings there). The garlic Parmesan fries were garlicy and a nice compliment to our healthy selection of wings and beers ;). Are they hand cut fries? No. But you’re at a chain sports bar, so ease up. If your in the area looking for somewhere to get a quick beer and wings in a sports bar environment, you can’t go wrong coming here. I will not comment on the waitresses other than to say that if this place is going to require that the staff wear really revealing outfits, they should at least give them sizes that fit :-/

I came here on St. Patrick’s Day with my cousin her boyfriend and my boyfriend. The wait was originally 2 hours and we only waited 10 minutes which was great! I ordered margarita pizza and garlic fries. I was very disappointed with the margarita pizza because it was actually a flat bread with a tomato slice and cheese. You can look at my picture… pretty sad. But the tilted guilt is to die for!!! So I wasn’t going to completely bash the place. I’m sure there are many other yummy foods. My garlic wings were very good when I got them last time.

This location is attached to the mall. Pretty much all the women there are attractive. Definitely better looking and better bodies than the girls at hooters. Obviously, Tilted Kilt is a pub, but as for the ambience, it’s far from a traditional Irish pub. It’s not as dark as most pubs and the furnishings are pretty up to date, instead of the typical old school, very detailed, bulky stuff. The food is good. Definitely better than hooters, but I think some of the portions are on the small side. Thus making some of the entrees a little overpriced. The drink menu is decent and they have a good amount of signature TK Shaker drinks. One of my favorite things about this location is that they have a large outdoor dining area that also has a small bar area.

I am glad I tried it, but I know not to come back. The layout of the restaurant is interesting. Convenient for game days which is good. There is a section of a long high top table that is right behind the bar so you can see the tvs. The tables and menus are all sticky. It is like a college frat house the morning after a party. Exactly like that, where you think your shoe might get stuck. The drink menu isn’t that impressive same with the food menu. So when you check in here on Unilocal, you get a free Irish nachos. Awesome! Since they are 8.50. Yet the waitress told me next time I should print it out. So people print out coupons before you go. The nachos came out in a timely manner but it was horrible. The chips were not grab-able. Once you tried to pull it from the stack of toppings, it would break. Also they tasted like nothing at all. The toppings were cheese, olives, jalepinos, bean dip type thing, and some others I don’t remember or not. Do not get it. My friend ordered the turkey burger and she said it was not good but it was not bad. The french fries tasted straight out of the freezer. I ordered a butchers block flatbread and it wasn’t that bad. The breading was interesting, reminded me of pita bread kinda. The sausage topping was way too peppery and the bacon was way too salty so I just left the pepperoni on it which was good. Service was eh. She was very attentive until the food came out. Once the food came out she barely came back. Did not check if everything was ok. Welp, it was a nice try.

Here again on beautiful Sunday since was nearby dropping. stuff off at Goodwill. Shocking how bad this place is again. Ask for Brooklyn lager kicks. Several of the draughts have kicked based onn pulling thebtap off. Ask for beer menu, and bartender says it is not up to date so I should shoose and she will tell me if it is on tap. Worst of all, the dirty disgusting bar top. Food pieces, crumbs, and hair is all over the bar top. Not just in front of me, but at other empty seats at the bar. The place is empty, so I expect it will be closing soon. I originally went to a Tilted Kilt in San Diego, next to the ball park, and loved it. I was real excited when this one was announced — and have tried it 3 times to really give it a fair shake. What a let down. I know it is a «Celtic» Hooters theme — which is fine — but they really screwed up in terms of only hiring eye-candy and not training them at all. I am shocked at how every time I go and ask what is on tap — they never know. They just say they have a lot — so I end up going and looking at the bar. The food itself is below average — they once in a while come out with new recipes to taste, good idea, but the main menu needs work. I have had the nachos, burgers, and salads. All of them are bland with nothing unique. The staff is slow and uninformed — and OK to look at — nothing all that fantastic. The only«save» is that they have a lot of TV’s which can be viewed from any angle — so it is a good place to catch a game.

Tilted Kilt is pretty much Hooters with a Celtic twist. The dishes here are decent, but nothing to rave over. While that may not sound like a compliment, in the handful of times I have eaten here, I have never had anything I would consider bad. You just won’t be experiencing anything spectacular. The portion sizes are large enough so you don’t feel hungry when you’re done, but small enough to finish in one sitting without exploding. There’s also a pretty big variety of things to choose from. If young women pandering to creepy older men is what you’re seeking, look no further. While everyone I’ve interacted with was pleasant. It’s blatantly obvious how much the waitresses spend extra time with the patrons who are undressing them with their eyes. However, most of the girls are pretty attentive to your actual dining needs, but you will get the occasional one who will forget about you while trying to pad her tips on another table. Atmosphere is one area where Tilted Kilt does a very good job. The Celtic theme can be seen all over the pub. There are plenty of of TVs, suits of armor, and Medieval décor. Many scantily-clad girls can be seen walking to and fro taking and bringing orders. It was nice to see they make the male employees wear kilts too, even though I don’t like having to witness all the hairy man leg. It’s only fair though I guess. I can’t complain about the price of everything served here. There are no huge bargains, but you also don’t feel like you’re getting ripped off. It’s a good balance. Food: 3⁄5 Service: 3⁄5 Environment: 4⁄5 Price: 3⁄5 It’s no secret what draws most of the crowd that visits this establishment. Those people will be very happy with what they find. To those that are actually looking to eat, you may be better off going to Buffalo Wild Wings.
