So we came to this station with the attached Dunks late in the evening after leaving Providence and didn’t have any issues fueling up here. We ended up paying at the pump which included limited interaction with staff. We don’t know if our experience would have been different if we had to interface with them but the pumps were fast and the prices were reasonable. That being said, we got in and out quickly, grabbed a coffee for the long roadtrip, and didn’t mind using their fairly clean bathrooms before departing.

I am a loyal Shell gas member. Have never had a bad experience until today. Went inside to prepay for gas. After trying to pump gas. I go inside not once but twice to let them know it’s not working. After the third try I get the person to come out to check. And the lady she looked at me and said«that button doesn’t work. Just pump regular gas». I looked at her and was like ummm no my car doesn’t take regular gas. Then she tells me I can refund you or just go to a different one. Which I needed gas so I did obviously but after going to a different one I still had to walk back inside and tell her where I was. They have no customer service training I guess worst experience ever. Next time I’ll go a few miles down to a different gas station. This-Shell should really look Into what kind of employees they have.

This place won’t let you buy more than $ 75 of gas if you pay at the pump with a credit card. I paid at the pump with a credit card, buying about $ 45 of gas, and they put a $ 99 hold on my credit card. It’s normal for a hold to go on your card for this, but why $ 99? I can only spend $ 75 at the pump. And I did not go inside to make any other purchases(and if I had, they would be a separate charge, anyway). Holding more money than I can spend is not only unacceptable but it should be illegal. I don’t know if this is a problem with just this specific Shell or all Shell stations, but I’m not going to Shell anymore.

I hate giving bad reviews but I just have to on this one… my first disturbing impression was yesterday when I stopped to get ice… was told that I needed to step aside to the second register as the one I stepped up to was suddenly closed. I can work with that — on the condition that I don’t have to stand in line watching an employee standing beside the girl at the register literally clipping his nails. There is a Dunks housed inside this gas station literally 10 feet from the register I checked out on!!! Wth???

This is the Shell Station with Dunkin Donuts off RT146 exit 4; this is a frequent stop for me when going back and forth to RI. The gas prices are usually average and the station is easy to get in and out of. The Dunkin Donuts has good service and an unusually good selection of donuts for a «gas-station» location. The BATHROOM is straight in to the left rear of the building, it is a unisex and it is Meh-OK…ladies remember that is coming from a guy! Overall I am a fan — the location, the convenience of gas in coffee in one spot, and a public bathroom all make this a good stop.
