My salad was lovely, the coffee was ok(I take mine black so good coffee is important). The service was meh. I felt like I was an inconvenience. No water, didn’t even ask if I wanted more coffee. No one checked to see if I liked my food. The only interaction I had after receiving my food was someone asking to take my plate when I was done. Paying the bill was convenient with a iPad at each setting and was able to have my receipt emailed to me. Overall, not an outstanding experience but might go back for the food when I’m in the airport.

Food here is really good! Highly recommend the margarita pizza! I’ve lived in New York for four years and it’s one of the best pizzas I’ve had!!! So delicious!

It all depends on your expectations-our expectation was crappy airport fast food, and Cotto far exceeded that. Food and wine were not terrible(more herbs and spices would have been a feasible way to up the flavor quotient), the décor is well thought out, our servers went out of their way to be helpful, and the fresh flowers on the table were real. The window seating is an extra bonus. Obviously, I would not be so happy with the same level of quality at a similarly priced Italian restaurant in the West Village, but sipping wine over a tiramisu with real whipped cream at Cotto makes hours spent stuck at LaGuardia far less agonizing than many other airports.

Definitely get pasta here. I split pasta and pizza pasta was way better. Rigatoni with meatballs was way better than expected and the meatball pizza was good, but pasta was the best choice. Lots of options in this airport when you have delays but this was a good choice. Service is not great you order from an I pad and it’s obviously expensive. Would go back.

Some to have a bite during a layover and was quite surprised by the quality of food. It was good, I asked for a medium burger and received a medium burger that was never a frozen patty. The seating is super tight and the place is expensive, so if you’re low on funds, skip it. There is a nice selection of wines and other drinks, so yay if you’re like me and a drink before a flight is right up your alley. Be aware the seating is also gate C30, so you might have to look for a seat especially if you’re dining as a group.

I ordered the margherita pizza. It was barely ok — crust was good, but the oven caused the bottom to blacken in a not-appealing way, sauce was bland and not enough cheese. The basil leaves, while seemingly fresh, were left whole, so you either got a BIG bite of basil or none at all. I also don’t understand who I was tipping when no one actually helped me except to put the pizza in front of me. And I had to ask for water — twice — and received no refills. I also still, a day later, haven’t received my «emailed» receipt.

DONOTEATHERE Pizza was burned and the service was dishonest. Could not get a copy of our receipt until AFTER they’d picked up the cash tip — and the tip was automatically added to the bill without my involvement. I did get the cash back, though — and ours was not the only problem at the time we were eating. You’re better off at the food court.

The service is terrible Spending time talking to friends not even a refill on water. Semi cooked bacon, warm milk even after asking her to bring it back with the meal. I ordered a chef special 3 egg omelette. It was a dirty yellow color with grease running out of it and absolutely no taste. Not one person has stopped by to check and see if I was ok so this disgusting omelette is just sitting on my table. If anyone stops by I will ask to speak to a manager but not looking good.

I like the place… Only thing I don’t like is that you have to place your order on an iPad but is looks like the place is really nice

On paper looks great. A clean place, new and fast paced. But the food is rushed through the oven with a very high temperature so that my pizza was burnt on the outside but not really cooked at the center… Given the prices I would expect better food. Won’t go there again…

Laguardia Airport, terminals C and D(Delta) just doesn’t have that great of a selection of eats. It might look good, but the taste of the food and the price just doesn’t fly(pun intended) for me. I met a couple colleagues here for dinner before our business trip this evening. The menu looked promising, from gourmet salads to paninis, pizzas, and pastas. They ranged in price from $ 15 – 30 — definitely on the very, very pricey side for what you get, but whatever, you’re at an airport, right? I ordered the butternut squash ravioli for $ 22 — $ 28 after tax and tip(ridiculous). When it came, I saw about 6 pieces of large ravioli in a very, very buttery, watery, and otherwise not very flavorful sauce. I ate a couple pieces — the pasta was actually not too soggy and was a good al dente, but the butternut squash filing left much to be desired. It looked like, well, frozen ravioli thrown into some butter and salt. The waiter came around and asked me how it was and I told him the honest truth — way, way too greasy and buttery for my tasting(who actually likes this??) and he was extremely understanding and nice about it and let me order their kale salad with shrimp instead(which is cheaper… But whatever). I spoke to the chef and the waiter who were both very nice and understanding of my situation, but pretty much said that this is just how it’s made — with butter, water, and salt, and you either love it or you hate it. Maybe some people like drinking butter. Regardless, props to them for being very patient and understanding. My kale salad was far, far tastier and the shrimp was nicely salted and cooked — not under or overcooked. The kale was not rough, but was a little oily due to olive oil. I’ll probably have this again, but ask for less oil next time. It also came with nuts and honeycrisp apple and cheese. An expensive salad at $ 15(for just the salad) and $ 6 for the shrimp, but I was not disappointed by it. Typical airport restaurant, but with very friendly staff. As with any airport restaurant, just be careful what you order.

Great for a quick stop while you await your flight. Terrific frittatas! You have the opportunity to add and play with the ingredients you would like. If you happen to be there for a night flight and need a drink. The bar has a great variety. In addition, you can always charge your phone while you eat.

We tried Cotto when facing multiple delays on our flight and having spend $ 8 at a neighboring eatery for a small skillet of crinkle fries. Feeling famished and grumpy about paying inflated airport prices, we settled on Cotto because at least the dining area was appealing. Turns out the food is decent for airport and not outrageously priced. We had a bottle of Cabernet for $ 36 and split a tasty pizza. Really saved our moods after a frustrating flight delay.

Great airport dining experience. I arrive at the airport at 7:15am, expecting to grab a coffee and stale muffin before my journey. Instead I was guiding forward to the future of airport dining at LaGuardia. Prosciutto frittatas, cappuccinos served in white porcelain and iPad ordering. The food was good, not great, but what made this experience so wonderful was the friendly helpful service when ordering, prepaying by credit card, quick arrival of food, and then being able to relax and enjoy my coffee I undisturbed.

My main issue with this place? I ordered a salad and the dressing came on the side. Without asking for it to come on the side. And to be honest, I don’t want to live in a world where ordering a salad means that you have to also specify that the dressing should COMEDRESSEDONTHESALAD. Is that an abnormal thought — that a salad should come fully dressed to the table? I came fully dressed to the table, SHOULD I NOTEXPECTTHESAMEOFMYSALAD? On another salad related note, if I can’t fit a piece of lettuce in my mouth without contorting my mouth in ways I didn’t know I was capable of, then that piece of lettuce is too big and should have been cut way smaller. Ya know, an *edible* size. Oh, and one last thing? If croutons are supposed to come with said salad — then don’t plop two pieces of toasted crostini on my plate and expect me to crumble up my own croutons. Don’t get me wrong, I did it and it was messy, but is this what this world has come to? Crumbling my own croutons and dressing my own salad? I know what you’re thinking. I’m being a bit of a baby. But dude… if I’m paying $ 28(tax and tip included) for a drink and a salad, SHOULD I NOTHAVETHESEEXPECTATIONS? Other Slight Issues Why was my silver fork real but my silver knife a fake plastic one? What the hell is going on here? If you’re going to charge these kinds of prices, I think that giving me plastic utensils is kind of insulting. The real problem with these iPad-using airport«restaurants» is that they get away with way too much these days. I’m not saying all of these places are bad, but it’s so easy to get away with being bad when there’s technology involved and that’s not right. Never again, Cotto. Never again.

This a different airport restaurant. The food and beverages are ordered with a iPad and you run your own credit card. Very little wait staff interact. My meal made it to the table before my beverage. It was quick, but probably look for other options next time.

A decent airport restaurant that has tasty food, a decent setting, but pricey with iffy staff. I was slightly hungover on a flight out of Laguardia with a 2 hour layover. At about 7am I needed something in my tummy and a tasty breakfast. Cotto was right in my terminal and easy for me to pop a seat by the bar. Every seat has an iPad in front of it for easy ordering and paying. You make your choices and the waiters come over to you. I ordered a Prosciutto Frittata as my main meal. It was cooked well and had a nice faint meaty taste. I always enjoy a frittata for breakfast and eggs are great for breakfast energy. As a desert I actually ordered a sliced grapefruit. This was a delightful hangover pick me up. Juicy and cut perfectly. It did take a while for my food to come and the waiter kind of just plopped the plate on my table. They forgot about my Black Tea so I had to ask for it 20 minutes in when I realized it was missing. While the format of this place is great for a busy person in the airport, it does not work completely and the service is trying to go for a bit too fancy spancy look. At least I was able to grab that Fiji Water before I hopped on the plane.
