First time I came here I loved it. I had the Alambres illegales. Second time, it was good had tacos. Third time was Eh, ordered the Alambres and they no longer add pineapple! What?! That’s what made that dish. Now this LAST time was horrible. Super salty cabeza meat, super salty pastor and crunchy pieces that weren’t crunchy in a good way. Never coming again! Oh and who’s the lazy person cutting the onions! Talk about half assing your job with the onions. The pieces are almost ½″ big! Onions are supposed to be chopped nice and small. Literally wasted my money because I ate half a taco and threw the other 3 away. SMH.

I’ve had this placed bookmarked for months. It did not disappoint. A small bite from Tacolandia was merely a preview of things to come. Tacos Cuernavaca has so many choices. I ordered the alambre illegal, with the bacon wrapped shrimp. Generous portions of al pastor, chorizo, and pineapple, cheese, onions, salsa… the Mexican version of a hash. Amaaaaaaaazing mixture of flavors. The orange hot sauce doesn’t have habanero, but it’s ridiculous. The salsa verde is good as well. The address is janky since it’s a taco truck. It’s on the north side of Whittier Blvd and Westmont near the McDonalds.

Good luck if you go to this place. Disgusting! Ordered a burrito of asada and a taco of al pastor. Took one bite of the burrito and threw it away. First, it didn’t look like asada, second it tasted like burnt chorizo. Tried the taco and it tasted exactly like the burrito. The worst food I have ever put in my mouth. To be quite honest, the meat kinda looked and tasted like when the cook scrapes all the burnt old meat off the grill. Seriously, do yourself a favor and skip this truck!

Totally disappointed by the alambre ilegale, which was $ 15WITHOUT the lobster($ 30 with!!), and had WAY too much pineapple and hot dog chunks. Seriously? The drive plus the cost plus the disappointment = nasty. $ 15 for hot dog chunks. Next.

Most amazing red salsa! We buy it by the bottle when we come $ 6 and $ 5 if you bring the bottle back haha my honey and I love this taco spot we had a bad visit once with them the tacos were pretty salty and dry like they’d been cooked again but never again just ate some amazing tacos right now we come whenever we’re in the area and we’ve always received good service

Nacho review: I had the midnight munchies so on my way home I stopped by to check out this catering truck. A previous reviewer stated the nachos were the best so I had to try them out. I ordered the al pastor nachos with guacamole which had lots of flavor and it was already spicy, there was no need to add any chili. I really liked them but the only thing that bothered me was the lack of ingredients and they were a bit cold, I ate them on the spot so it wasn’t like they got cold on the way home. For $ 6 they were okay but I will have to try their tacos next time.

Friend brought us here over the weekend. We get to the truck and there are grumpy looking people in front. We see a lady leaving with a plate and it looks amazing. We dont even hide our curiosity. We stop her and ask what that is. She responds«Picadita». We ordered this amazing Picadita and 1 Asada taco and 1 Pastor taco. I honestly dont remember the tacos. But the Picadita was so interesting. Its tasted like a flater sope. They top it with a thin flank steak. Its smothered with salsa and Mexican cheese. Size of maybe a big pizza slice. I’m so glad we got to try this new dish. It was a little on the salty side but it was good none the less. My only beef with this location would be parking and the wait. We waited about 30 minutes for our food and we had nowhere to park. We ended up parking at McDonalds and walking over.

After hearing about this place from a friend, I decided to give it a try and I’m very grateful I did. I ordered the Alambres with lobster, but everything looked really good as I observed from other peoples plates. As far as my dish goes, I give it a 4⁄5 just because it was a little too much on the greasy side, but if that’s your thing then you’ll love it. The flavor was unctuous and it came with tortillas to eat as tacos which was really nice because you can use that to try all their delicious salsas. I would say I enjoyed the green one the most and i observed they use this salsa in some of their dishes as well. Experience was great despite the fact I waited for an hour(yet this kind of shows you how popular this place is). But it was cool because the chef made a special version of the alambres which I thought made the dish more full and created more dimension. Overall, great place to go but be prepared to wait a little bit unless you go at another time. Food was excellent and the people were nice as well. Support your local food trucks!

Was pretty hungry and decided to try something new. I found this place on here and seemed like the perfect place to satisfy my mexican good craving. It’s a taco truck so don’t expect it all fancy and what not but it was an exceptional looking truck for that matter. Tables and chairs right in front so you could eat there if choose to do so. My whole order was basically different type of meat tacos(asada, birria, carnitas) which happened to be pretty good! the tortillas were green for some reason which I didn’t mind I just laughed about it and guess maybe it’s for soccer season. You could tell the tortillas and the chips were homemade which is a good thing but they did fall apart easily. Salsa was pretty hot and had a good kick. The guacamole sauce had a great lemon taste which wasn’t so bad either. One thing I was skeptical on was getting the salsa all they gave me was sandwich bags which I was a bit worried about. Other then that it wasn’t so bad and in the end if you wanna try it then go for it ;) do whatcha want

I’ve tried almost every taco truck in East LA(except the super sketchy ones), this one gets the gold for me. I think they put this special taco/spice sauce on the tacos that gives it a really nice flavor. Owner is super chill.

Mmmmm great tacos and burritos! I actually like that they put cilantro, onions and chili and everything instead of doing it yourself. These guys are open late too. One of the best trucks in east los for sure.

how the mighty have fallen. fallen is an understatement. read my last review here and i was amazed by this place. heres what have changed… The tacos are no longer crispy. they are hardly even heated. Plain and boring. The portion of meat on your taco has gone down. They changed the Al Pastor. Now its too spicy to enjoy any flavor. The owner(the heavy guy working there) has the worst costumer service imaginable. He has time and time again refused to give my friends back their change. He did this to me recently in my recent(and final) trip here. I use to love this place a couple years back and go every weekend. Now i dont see myself ever going back. I need to find a new taco spot.

This place in east LA aka hoods of mexico. I was a little skeptical trying this place out late at night around 2am as I am the only non-mexican person on the street but I don’t mind. I love my mexican brothers so I dont hate… haha… however i did take off my valuables and left my money in the car, just in case any of those drunk people at the truck want to get into some fights, im going have to do some flying kicks without having valuables flying out of my pocket. haha so when i got there, the menus were all in spanish except the basic ones like tacos and quesadilla. so i decided to choose the ones i know for sure haha I ate the meat and beef tacos which were super deliciouz and also got the quesadilla which was also bomb! I go to lot of truck vendors but this one is one of the top and on top of that I wasn’t even drunk! haha now i have to revisit it when i am drunk! i need other recommendations from other people because some of the dishes that people were eating looked so much better then mine!

BOMB. FUCKING.COM! Lets face it kiddies all Tacos trucks are the shit but this is the mother truck of all mother truck. We’re talking about 100% bombaciousness for cheap!!! They have this bomb guacamole sauce that I basically will give an arm and a leg over. I’ve tried the tacos, sopes, mulitas, quesadillas, tortas, and my ultimate of ultimate favs… the Nachos! Highly recommend this place super good especially after a night of pure drunkeness. Yay cuernavaca!!!
