I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kohn. I have been going to him for as long as I can remember. My family goes to him as well. First let me start off with the receptionists and staff. They are darlings (I know cheesy but so true.) They always greet their guests with a smile and are not only friendly, but so helpful! The women working there take the time to remember me and it’s nice catching up with them on my visits. The office is very clean and professional. Even if I can’t brush my teeth before I go (I’m at work or busy) they have a small area for you to do so. Also, I know this has nothing to do with their service, but they have the best selection of magazines. Haha.
Dr. Kohn is a very skilled professional. He is very patient and really cares about his patients. You can always tell when a doctor goes that extra mile. His dental assistants are great too. I consistently receive a very thorough cleaning and she takes her time when assessing my teeth. I have some sensitivity in my gums and she’s very careful in making sure I’m comfortable. Not many places do that. I know A LOT of people are scared of the dentist because it’s taboo-​ed that it’s incredibly painful. But not here. If you have an «iffy» dentist or are looking for someone new, I would highly recommend this place.

While I have not been a patient as long as Barry S, I have been a patient of Dr. Bertram Kohn for 4 years and found him to be very good at dentistry. Even when I first walk in, I find that Marcella, his receptionist is very welcoming and makes sure you are accommodated as quickly as possible. Once you are accommodated, Minella, Dr. Kohn’s hygienist, is excellent at giving you a tooth cleaning as she is gentle and thorough even when she is scraping the plaque off your teeth and also, she gives your teeth a nice polishing to help make your mouth feel fresh. Afterwards, Dr. Kohn comes in and checks your mouth and is very gentle and one of the nicest people I have met. Even when I had to get a wisdom tooth pulled, Dr. Kohn was very gentle in making sure to not irritate my mouth. Also, as a bonus, the prices are very reasonable! All in all, you can’t go wrong with Dr. Kohn if you are looking for an excellent dentist on Long Island!

I’m been a patient of Dr. Kohn for 44 years. There is no finer, more skilled general dentist around, IMHO. I just had a new crown put in, and he showed me how the latest computer mapping allowed his lab to make a crown that fit perfectly the first tiem he put it in, and required no occlusion adjustments. Dr. Kohn is always on top of the latest technology in his field!
