Pearle Vision

Of all the eyewear stores I have visited, this one had the best selection and the most helpful sales staff. More importantly, the eye doctor who examined me gave me the most thorough eye exam I have ever had… no rushing through the «better, worse, same» stuff where you aren’t really sure of some answers. He was patient and careful that the subtle differences in the optical quality of your choices was accurate and took the time for you to be sure. This resulted in a prescription I was sure was right on the money. This is so important and would make me want to ask for him again in the future.
Bought regular glasses that were ready THE SAME DAY! My old glasses were in pieces so this was a big plus. Sunglasses that were ordered at the same time took quite a while but there was an issue with the wide lenses fitting correctly in the frame I picked so they had to be sent out to another place for fitment. When they arrived I could see how precisely they had to be installed so I understood the delay and was actually glad they did whatever had to be done to make them right, they were perfect.
Wish I could remember the names of the people I dealt with but I have an idea that they were all on the same page. Deals for multiple pairs ordered.

One optician is very polite and extremely helpful. The rest of the staff, including the optometrist, seem to think their jobs are beneath them. Their prices are higher than elsewhere and their service is less. They have many competitors close by. Try some of them. This place is, in my opinion, not worth going to.

2365 Hemstead Tpke is wonderful. Had an emergency, gave them no notice, but somehow they were able to replace my glasses, and have them ready by end of the day. Jessi the manager, and Dr Steve, along with the rest of their team go out of their way to accommodate their clients in a professional and caring manner.

Went in to check up for new glasses. Services was excellent. Courteous staffs who were very helpful. The manager Jesse was wonderful he helped me pick out my new frame. After 3 days they called me to pick up my new glasses, basically in and out. Quick turn around time I really appreciated their effort!

Excellent service from the staff at this Pearle Vision. Great product priced reasonably.

Opposite experience as the other reviewer but equally bad. They told me my glasses were ready the very next day. Referred a friend and went with her a day or two later. The glasses I picked out were no longer on the wall. I put two and two together — they sold me the floor model without even telling me. Terrible business practice

Pearle Vision: You will get your glasses in 3 – 5 business days…
Me: That’s great!
Pearle Vision: We will call you when they come in!
March 22^nd…
Me: Hey, I was just calling to find out if my glasses are ready…
Pearle Vision: No… I don’t see anything yet…
Me: Oh, they told me it would be 3 – 5 business days, and it’s been 6 days now.
Pearle Vision: Oh, well the frames your wanted we needed to order so they should be ready in a few days.
Me: Okay.
March 26^th…
Me: Hey I was just checking to see if my glasses are ready
Pearle Vision: Well the lenses have not arrive yet.
March 28^th…
Me: Hey I just wanna know when my glasses will be ready…
Pearle Vision: Well your lenses just came in today they wont be ready today thou, because Easter is coming up.

FINALLY MY GLASSES ARE READY…
3 – 5 BUSINESS DAYS. Turns into 2 weeks, every time was a different excuse.
When I was there, they frames were in the store, and just the lenses needed to be ordered. That turns into my frames needing to me ordered which is what took so long. And then… that becomes… your frames are here… but your lenses are what is holding your glasses up!!!
Easter is coming… so the world must stop spinning.
