Those looking to enter the water very close to Cupsogue can launch from the ramp and park across the street in the lot. Jet skis predominate but kayaking is a joy near the shore; arrive when you want and pay nada, and stick to the bay since the ocean’s overhyped anyways (alright, maybe not, but that can wait).
