Good deal for lunch. Can’t really beat the price, $ 20 for two people. Food was good, servers were nice, the place was pretty clean. Improvement from the previous business for sure.

Different in the best way. It takes a second to adjust to the flow of the grills but worth it. Soup and apps on demand, vegetables are fresh and 3 different types of noodles, variety of meats and tons of sauces to try. Customize everything. It’s a great place for vegetarians!

Brand new décor. Bright and festive. Grill is located right the front so you can see from the outside. Large buffet style selection for one flat price. Literally 100s of different combinations you can try. Bar is now open and serving all the typical drinks. What’s better than having a nice cold one with your made to order plate Don’t forget about the free made to order appetizer included in your meal

Over the years, we’ve been to several of the Kahns franchised Mongolian BBQ restaurants throughout the midwest. Based on the flow and selections, this location is apparently not part of that franchise. I think that it is probably an independent, family owned restaurant(not confirmed). First and foremost, the quality of the food, cleanliness, and hospitality at this Mongolian BBQ were very good. We were there at dinner time, so our meal included unlimited trips to create different meals, desserts on the dessert bar(ice cream, pudding, and melons), and even an appetizer(soups, egg roll, etc.) Good value for the money. The food selection process — the foods and sauces are set up a bit differently than any other Mongolian BBQ I’ve ever been too(including several family owned restaurants in the South.) The good: They have a larger selection of meats and vegetables than I have ever encountered at any Mongolian BBQ. Vegetarians will not feel slighted either — there is tons of variety for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. Speaking of meats, I’m used to meats being frozen and thin-shaved so they(1) take up more room on your plate and(2) cook faster when on the grill. This Kahn’s had thick cut meats — about 1⁄8 to ¼ inch thick. They had fresh chicken, beef, and pork. They also had lamb, mussels, scallops, and shrimp. It was also all completely thawed(but still kept cold in the refrigerated selection bar area), but not frozen. Fresh is good, but I was still uncomfortable selecting soft slippery shrimp and moist chicken open to the air. I’m sure it is safe, but I guess I’m just used to the relative security of selecting frozen meats. Like many Mongolian BBQ’s, they had many sauce selections — but they had unfamiliar names. I’m not an expert on these things, so I didn’t know if the«Mongolian Sauce» would be really hot or very mild. There were 7 or 8 different sauces, and 4 or 5 had names that gave no clue about their contents. Kind of a Pick and Lose scenario if you make a bad choice. Cooking on the grill was a bit different than I’m used to as well. You put it in small bowls as you select from the bar, and chef only pours it over your food when it is done being cooked, as he slides everything on to your plate. So the flavors of the sauces don’t cook in to the food. In fact, one person poured their sauce over their food first, and the chef took the raw food to a sink and washed off the sauce before putting the food on the grill. Weird. One other thing that is different — since the meats are relatively thick, they can get stiff as they cook — especially beef, pork, and lamb. My beef slices ended up being a bit like shoe leather — about the size of a man’s heel actually. Not the chef’s fault — cooking meat that thick will always make it leathery. But once you figure out how to assemble your plate, you can make some really good meals for yourself. How to best enjoy this Kahn’s: Since you can go back for more as much as you want, focus on making several small plates with different types of meats, sauces etc. Try one with just lamb and curry. Try another with pork, veggies, and mongolian sauce. Experiment. And leave yourself plenty of time to enjoy what you create.

Such a better place than the old buffet that was here. Fresh, hot grilled in front of you food! Pick your meats, I did pork, bacon and egg, then pick your veggies, I picked bean sprouts, pepper, green bean and onion, pick your starch, either mei fun noodles or lo mein and pick your sauce, then take it all up to the gentlemen to grill! Awesome! Exactly what you like and nothing you don’t! Will continue to go here!

I would have expected actual Mongolian food at a place that has it in it’s name. To me, it seemed more like a glorified Asian buffet. I like that you pick out the fresh ingredients and they cook it on the spot. The pickings included noodles, rice, vegetables, meats, fish and an array of different sauces. One of the sauces was a «Mongolian sauce» so maybe that is where they try to justify the name of the restaurant. The food was decent, certainly not great. The slices of meats were cut very thin, probably so they cook fast. My beef was comparable to chewing on leather. I stuck with shrimp and scallops for my second dish which were not bad. At the end of dinner, both my date and I had stomach aches. There are better Asian buffets in the area that do not make me feel awful afterwards! I am giving two stars rather than one because the cooks were friendly, the staff was attentive and the concept is nice.

This place is money. It’s a buffet of raw food that you pick your portions of, pick your sauces and veggies, hand it to the cooks, and watch them make it right in front of you in just a few minutes on their Mongolian grill! Bumbed to see the China buffet go, but this place is AWESOME! Plus it’s cheap! All you can eat for $ 13 on a Saturday night, can’t beat that!

We were in the area because we were shopping at the Big Lots a couple of doors down. Upon getting out of the car though, we smelled a delicious aroma and followed our nose to Khan’s. Located in a strip mall, it doesn’t look like much from the outside but it’s pretty large inside. This is a buffet and they have a list of appetizers and a couple of entrees that come from the kitchen that you order sirectly with your waitress. For your main meal, you go to the buffet area where there are vegetables, meats, seafood and noodles as well as sauces that you yourself choose from. You then take the whole thing to the large round grill by the front door. Again, someone will direct you to a spot around the grill for you to get your food cooked. Appetizer wise, we had both the boiled and the grilled dumplings(3 to an order) and both were good though not outstanding. Will R demolished their sweet and sour soup. We also ordered the Sesame chicken and that is exactly what you’d expect from a chinese restaurant. I would stay away from the beef as it looked tough. The shrimp and sausage are safet choices. Also, remember not to pour the sauces over your dish. You’re supposed to pour them into a side dish as they get drizzled on at the end of the cooking time, otherwise the whole mess sticks to the grill. Good place for bigger groups and families! I think it was about $ 12.99 per person, not including drinks.

Fresh, fresh, fresh food! Great variety of meats, fish, seafood, poultry, vegetables, fruits, starches, sauces. Pick ANYTHING&EVERYTHING you want! Grilled right before you. Order appetizers at your table: they’re entrée size. Small dessert bar. For $ 7.99 for lunch, it can’t be beat.

Ok, I blasted them with a terrible review when it was redone as the new Chinese buffet. Now this new makeover is fantastic. Food is fresh and cooked right in front of you. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. If I were to say anything negative, it would be the price at dinner. Lunch is a great deal! Have gone twice in a week and a half. I think it is now my goto place when wanting an Asian buffet! Great job!!!

The food is great here! All you can eat Mongolian Grill. You can choose from meats, seafood and vegetables. Included with your meal is a selection of appetizers ranging from egg and spring rolls to pepper steak and General Tso’s chicken. Soup is included with 5 choices. Also included, like most Asian buffets, is dessert. The staff are super friendly and attentive. I give this place 5 stars not only because the food is great, but also because the environment and staff are awesome too. Enjoy! #nomnomnom

Not great, no bad either. Completely and totally average. Good that they are open late. My parents hated it. Waitress who couldn’t speak clearly or be understood. Don’t go especially out of your way to come here.

This was the worst Chinese buffet I have been to. The food was cold and the shrimp were not cleaned. The ice cream was also freezer burned. No selection and over priced. Will not be going back and hopefully not getting sick from the food.
