The pizza is expensive, the cheese is under cooked. Since the oven change the pizza’s are no longer the same from 15 – 20 years ago!

The«Abbys Special» is my favorite pizza in Wenatchee. The best thin crust. Restaurant is dated. Timely deliveries. Very expensive.

Here’s the thing. Abby’s has been around forever in Wenatchee and pizza has always been good. Toppings to the edge, fresh dough, and lots of space for family & large groups. Another plus is they support the community and local youth a lot. That all being said, you’d think they’d know how to cook a pizza CONSISTENTLY after being here for over 30 years. Sometimes the pizza is lukewarm, sometimes the crust isn’t done, sometimes it’s absolutely delicious. I blame the conveyor belt ovens and perhaps turnover in their cooks. If you want really good consistent pizza try Lemolo or McGlinn’s.

Abby’s is my all time favorite pizza restaurant. I am quite set in my ways when ordering here though. I like abbys special, hawaiian pizza and the taco pizza but I never order them. I only order linguica with pineapple. So good! Their canadian bacon used to be made from turkey but now its not. Non pork eaters beware. I like these pizzas well done. The crust is usually thin and hopefully crispy. The pizza sauce here is great. They have 2 nice fireplaces to sit by if you want the ambiance. They also now have a very nice gluten free crust… the best I have tasted. Unfortunately their quality is somewhat inconsistent but when its right, there is no beating it. That said, an okay pizza from Abbys still beats all the other chain restaurant pizza out there. Thank you Abbys!

My friend and I were on a road trip with her three kids; two of which are gluten free. Kids eat pizza(and so do we!) and we were thrilled to find a local place which had a GF option. The prices were a bit high, but the quality seemed to match. This isn’t a place you’d go for artisan brick oven pizza — but for a child’s birthday party with plenty of pin-ball and arcade games. The crust was nothing to write home about, but was decent. The sauce didn’t have a lot of zest or zing; but it was good. The wine and drinks were priced fairly. Even if the wine was from a box. The salad bar was fresh and had plenty of standard choices. This might not be a regular place for me if I lived in town, but there is NO reason to rule out GF pizza which is decent, in two sizes AND delivers.

NOTSAFEFORCELIACS! I told them my allergy was«severe» my husband specified exactly how I needed it cooked and they said they could do that. Then my pizza pie got put on a regular screen. Same contaminated peel and cutter were used… I watched the whole thing.

Great pizza with quality toppings… High prices… And yeah it’s a huge place perfect for bday parties, sports teams end of year fun. So may seem empty if those aren’t happening, but is a great place for gatherings and kids.

Great customer service. Manager was helpful and funny. Pizza was delicious. Finished the entire pepperoni(with 10000000 peps on it) even though I was stuffed! Definitely see why it’s called legend… wait for it.

Price — high Atmosphere– weak Pizza– decent Staff– tired and lacking in appearance(dirty?) It was hidden and randomly placed so you have to look to find it. It’s kind of dicey lookin but not in that hip urban way, more in the forgotten late 90s way. A few games, one stall bathroom, and a vacant dirty appearance to both staff and restaurant makes it some place you might not venture to more than once. The pizza was good, different than all those chains you’ll go to. It’s a change of pace I guess.

We ordered two pizzas. One vegetarian and one pepperoni and mushroom. Pizza was great with the exception that the cheese seemed like it hadn’t melted all the way. All the toppings were delicious and service was very kind and efficient.

Burnt deep dish pizza. No flavor. Chicken wings were some how all fatty. I tried the legendary pizza based on the reviews. Deep dish with breadsticks and chicken wings are $ 35. I won’t be back

First time visit during early lunch — the place was practically empty. Ordered a lunch special — salad bar, drink, 7″ pizza. With tax about $ 10. The salad bar was the typical ice berg, slightly wilted lettuce, broccoli, day old mushrooms, cucumber, etc. with the basic dressings. You get one trip on a smallish plate. After finishing the salad, I ambled up to the counter to see what happened to my pizza. Turns out it was never entered into the computer, according to the somewhat flustered manager, who mumbled that his staff person didn’t know what he was doing. Had to wait another 10 minutes for that — no apology or acknowledgement of the hassle caused. The pizza was hot but slightly burned on the bottom(thin crust only for the 7″ type). The mushroom caps had a strange consistency — like Lima beans — but the chicken was ok. Given that there are other establishments that have all-you-can-eat salad/pizza lunch specials that are less expensive, taste better, and don’t require me to wait 20 min for my food, I won’t be returning. The ambiance is very nice, though, if you are looking for that.

In central Washington State, there ain’t a whole lot of places you can eat unless you like fast food or large pieces of barely singed dead animal meat. I went to the Unilocalometer and it proposed I try Abby’s. I figured, «why not»? I sure wasn’t in the mood for a Big Mac. I went to the restaurant which is located in a strip mall type setting. Kind of hard to find if you’re not really looking for it. I go inside and the place is almost empty. There are rows of benches, a cove containing video games, a bar area and an open kitchen. I looked at the kitchen and spotted an impeller oven! Impeller ovens are bad news in my book, they blow superheated air on a pizza to hasten cooking. This is what made Domino”s Pizza and Papa John’s what they are today. But the menu said that the crust is made by hand every day. So I said OK, I’ll give it a shot. I ordered the Abby’s Special which is sausage, pepperoni, green pepper, salami, beef and mushrooms. Pizza was ready in 20 minutes and I was treated to a really surprisingly good pizza. Crust was properly cooked, did not taste like premade crap you get from some chains, toppings were generous and sauce was plentiful although on the sweet side. Only knock I have is a Large pie set me back about 25 bucks. But what the hell, beats a Big Mac.

I love their pizza! Probably one of the best local favorites in town! My personal favorite is the Philly Cheesesteak! Delicious! They also have good lunch combinations and behind this Abby’s is a bowling alley.

For anyone visiting Wenatchee, Abby’s is a must to experience. This pizza has been legendary for years in Central Washington. Service is always good, they offer WIFI, have a decent salad bar and plenty of space for large groups. The pizza is to die for!
