My first time here, a bit confused because it is in an industrial park with not a lot of clear signage until you are on top of the building. Parking is great, lots of it. There are signs inside saying $ 5.00 per person. So I pull out a ten dollar bill because I have two kids with me. I am meeting a friend so I am not really paying attention to the nice man behind the counter who is speaking to me, I am too busy looking for my friend and checking this place out because I have never been here. Finally I pay attention to the man and he is telling me that I owe him $ 15.00, I am confused and I tell him that no I only have two kids with me, he must’ve thought that I had three and he tells me that it is $ 5.00PERPERSON… So I tell him that I have no intention of climbing or playing with any of these toys, I am simply here to supervise and he kind of rolls his eyes and tells me that it is $ 15.00. I swear I am not a cheapo but parents don’t get charged for these types of things. I can’t drop them off here and I am not going to sit in the sand and dig so why am I paying five bucks for me? I met my friend and our kids played together and we had a lot of fun. There is a Thomas table, a few play houses, a plastic fruit stand with a cash register, Lego’s, some instruments, sand and water tables, puzzles, books and some other interesting and fun areas to play. It is relatively small, relatively clean and pretty safe. It wasn’t all that crowded either so I could really have a good conversation with my friend without losing track of my kids. Would I pay five bucks to hang out with my friend and keep my kids happy? I would pay a hundred for that so why am I bitching? I guess it just struck me as odd. I am not in a rush to go back but I guess I would.
