I am a mother of a child in Infant A and could not be more happy! The center Director and Asst. Director(Dana and Katie) have been fantastic and Ms. Donna is amazing. A new teacher joined this week Ms. Lashonda, and she is also following their mold of excellence! This review is as candid as it gets(I work in educational administration and no, not for this school or company) and have great anxiety leaving a newborn. However, they are explicitly knowledgeable about NJ daycare laws(I quizzed them) practice explicit sleep safety protocols and truly have an excellent handle on things. I see their infant program is becoming quite popular and rightfully so… do come here!

We had our children in Knowledge Beginnings for two and a half years and only left b/c we moved. If I could, I would have kept my kids there a long as possible. The teachers and staff were like family — responsive to every question and concern i had. They worked with me thoroughly through every issue or concern — whether potty training my son or working through some behavioral issue i had with my daughter, the teachers and staff went out of their way to help my children and make me feel comfortable. I think i cried more than my kids when we left ! These teachers spend more time with my kids during the day than I do and i was extremely grateful that my children received the best care and genuine love they could have. Wholeheartedly recommend this school and summer camp. one of the best investments we ever made!

They place the 2 year olds with the older 8 year olds right at 5. Last time I came to pick up my child up she was being beating up by an 8 year old; and the«teacher» didn’t even notice. When I called the next day and reported it to the«assistant director» Katie. I was told«this situation will be invested and I will get back to me». This never happened. Needless to say we pulled her out shortly after(as soon as we found somewhere else). To add insult to injury, three months after I pulled her out we get an email saying we owe two weeks because we only gave little over a weeks notice! Mind you we spoke with this same«Katie» and she told us «while we normally prefer two weeks notice as courtesy, I understand your families situation». My husband informed her we were having another baby and we may look into a nanny instead«being nice really» because the true reason we pulled her is above. Among other things, like dropping in at lunch and seeing 1 overworked teacher with 15, 2 year olds. Anyway this place basically wants us to pay $ 600 plus dollars for time my daughter wasn’t even there. Mind you we have no contract stating anything about 2 weeks notice. In fact we have no contract at all. This place doesn’t even know where we live, they had to send an email. Talk about unprofessional. Do not go here, if you do you put your young ones in danger. Not to mention your pockets(not the cheapest in the area), and they will make charges up as stated above. Several other good centers in the area. Stay away from this place. Only bright spot is Ms Jamie. I hope she leaves and goes to a better center on the area. We really loved her(unfortunately she would leave at 3pm). So after that it’s madness.
