It’s icees, custard and it’s summer what’s not to love. There are very few in NYC so whenever I travel to NJ or Penn I’m always on the look out for a Ritas. The staff was nice offered samples of whatever flavor we wanted. Got what I wanted quickly and was back on the road to my destination.

Always a great time! I love the gelati in which it’s layered with ice cream custard, Italian ice, and more ice cream custard! They used to only have chocolate and vanilla custards but now they also have orange cream and coffee! I tried the orange custard with green apple ice and it was delicious! I enjoyed the creamy and sweet orange pairing with my tangy and refreshing green apple ice!
They have so many new flavors that I never know what to get! They allow you to take samples, and they are always so nice, friendly and patient about it! Great attitude and customer service!
The only thing is the lack of seating. Sometimes on a nice day, all the seats would be filled and you would have to take it to go. Other than that, it’s a lovely spot for a summer treat with your friends!

Rita’s is a perfectly acceptable place to grab an ice cream or water ice. Ideal for those with kids. Lines may be long, but they move quick. Work staff are all very pleasant kids. Accepts major credit cards. Parking is never a problem. Nothing to write home about, but a nice (and quick) way to top off an evening.

I like Rita’s, but I don’t like that there’s no indoor seating. It’s a large building, but it is only a stand. So even while making your decisions when ordering, if it is hot/cold, you just need to suffer the temperature.

First off, I have said it before Rita’s is my Crack. I used to support a twice a day Rita’s habit.
There is not much that will differentiate one Rita’s from another. This location was my main source of Italian Ice for a couple of years.
The staff is friendly and their service is fine. It’s a clean location as well.
The only knock I can mention about this Rita’s is their lack of flavor variety. I am not sure if the individual franchisee select’s the flavors or if it’s the franchisor. In any case this particular Rita’s seems to have the same flavor’s time and time again unless they are introducing a new flavor.
They seem to never have Twisted Melon, Watermelon or Kiwi Strawberry. They always have Mango and Wild Black Cherry. Which are good but I like variety.
