taken over by a new owner. this place just seems rundown and lacks a focus. it offers nothing unique, and the owner wasnt even there when we were there. we were there for 15 minutes and he/she wasnt around.

What a delightful find! The Grist Mill’s inventory changes constantly, so it’s well worth multiple visits. I’ve been delighted to find all sorts of lovely linens, vintage bottles, unique kitchen items, lamps, fans, radios, and rugs. Unlike many antique stores on the Cape, the Grist Mill isn’t too precious to sell mid-century items, nor is its pricing precious or pretentious. This applies to its vast book collection and often hand-restored furniture as well. The collection is beautifully curated.(Despite the reasonable prices, let me emphasize that there is no digging for finds in the muck here.) The owners/staff(I have met Lisa and Jay) are helpful, considerate, and welcoming. I cannot recommend the Grist Mill highly enough.
