Best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. And yes I realize what a statement that is. Not really sure what else needs to be said after that. Considering driving there for lunch from Boston.

It’s surprisingly hard to find a good sandwich in this area. This deli offers upscale sandwiches of the kind you’re likely to find in a nice city Café. The sandwich menu is creative although focused on typical cold cuts. The prices are pretty good for what you get. The breakfast sandwiches are disappointing though. Just sloppy mistakes: the bread didn’t fit the insides of the sandwich, they got my toppings wrong, etc. Overall better than the local alternatives but not that impressive.

Best option for a good sandwich on the way to the National Seashore. Each sandwich comes overstuffed with meats. The options are endless! The cookies are delicious too. Be prepared for a short wait/line on the weekends during lunch hours.

This place does a good business, but my veggie wrap was mediocre at best and when I asked for it on whole wheat, the kid at the counter was completely and utterly confused. Excellent chocolate chip cookies, though. I returned the next day; I skipped the wrap and ordered 2 cookies.

Everything here is great. Awesome sandwich menu. Great selection of salads and amazing clam chowder. The bakery us fine with tasty homemade scones, muffins, cupcakes and pies. I’ve never been dissatisfied with them. Oh and their coffee is solid too.

Forgotten I’d complained about the coffee here. It’s actually very good. Everything else I said before goes: especially recommend the turkey club. They also make a good chicken pie. My only complaint now is if you buy a quart of soup they put it in a very flimsy container with a very solid lid. More than once I’ve lost a lot of it in the car driving home. Should also add that a couple of friends who visited me on the Cape have now made this a must do when they come up here the sandwiches are that good.

My boyfriend and I were looking a nice sandwich spot to stop at after we left the beach and we’re getting ready to head home. We were searching on Unilocal and we came across Sams Deli and saw it was close by so let’s give it a try! Great variety of deli meats, cheese, chicken salads, potato salads and more. They had exactly what we were looking for I wanted chicken salad and my boyfriend was looking for some prosciutto! We ordered our sandwiches the girl at the counter was very friendly even let me sample the chicken salad that was very tasty! Our sandwiches were made exactly how we ordered and we didn’t have to wait long at all! Ingredients were fresh and we both were very satisfied with our sandwiches! A great quick sandwich shop to stop at when in a hurry or on the go!

Great sandwiches and sides. Perfect place to grab food and go to the beach. Highly recommend the roast beef sandwich and Italian.

It was my favorite place to go. This season they were opening later than usual, once I walked in and the owner was so rude to me almost like I was bothering her. They can’t keep good help and today I walked in at 5:50 and they wouldn’t make a sandwich because the sign says they open at 6… bye, bye Sam and I’m taking my family of 5 elsewhere

Try to pay attention to a deaf customers order more. You gave me the wrong order after we clarified what I wanted on my sandwich. A huge disappointment. not worth driving from west Brewster to here ever again.

Great coffee and a nice bulk salad selection. An easy bike ride from our campground… We visited many times during our stay at a nearby campground.

Great deli and convenience store if you’re in the area. Friendly employees and lots of variety for sandwiches. I ordered one of their specials called The Frenchman which was amazing. It had lots of veggies but the artichoke spread on it really made it shine. I need more of that artichoke spread in my life. Sam’s how did you make it?!

Went to pick up some steaks the first night on the cape. Paid $ 60 for 4 Ny strips. But they were amazing. Great place to get a sandwich. Has local Beanstock coffee there. Would be 5 stars, but the prices are just outrageous. But just have to expect that during in season on the cape.

My #1 sandwich spot on the Cape. Don’t let the unassuming storefront exterior and the uninspired name fool you: this is sex on a sandwich. It doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it doesn’t need to: Sam’s Deli has perfected its craft of making affordable, delicious, fresh deli sandwiches. Seriously though, the most unorthodox sandwich ingredient on their extensive sandwich menu is scallion horseradish cream cheese. Don’t expect a radical new sandwich outlook here. My personal favorites are the Nauset Light, Chad’s Idea, the Santa Fe, the Rock Harbor, and Vivian’s Chicken Ranch. However, nearly every sandwich on the menu is good here. One last word of advice from a seasoned vet: get every sandwich on Focaccia Bread. I’m a follow-the-instructions-and-only-the-instructions-on-my-Lego-sets kind of guy, but this is one of the rare exceptions where I’ll concede that an alteration greatly improves the original!

I love this place. Really good sandwiches. Something that has been desperately needed in Eastham for years. Nauset light is my go to but I also really like the basil rathbone. I always call my order in so I’m not waiting and it’s always ready when they say it will be. Pricey cold cuts if you’re looking to buy them here. Good service but gets super packed in the on season.

New for the summer of 2014: ready-made sandwiches for those times when you can’t call ahead or stand in line for one of 30 specialty offerings or a bespoke model. NY Strips went up another $ 1/lb., but that’s inflation, The price is competitive with Stop & Shop, but the quality is much higher. In earlier reviews I failed to mention the wide selection of artisanal baked goods, from ciabatta rolls to bacon and scallion scones in the savory category, to big, fluffy muffins. Still a fan of Sam’s after all these years.

When going to the beach stop here to get a sandwich! Relied on the place every summer and never disappoints. The liquor store connected makes this a one stop shop — plenty of general store essentials as well!

Was recommended to us by a co worker. Busy place with a lot of good options for deli sandwiches and coldcuts. Staff was friendly. Place was super clean and price was reasonable. They have one grinder size which I think is a great idea. Basically a medium filled with a lot of fixings. We both ordered the house Italians. One with mayo, other with traditional Italian dressing. Took about 8 – 10 min to prepare and were very filling. I would like to see what else is good on another visit, but I will say, once was enough for me. No disrespect but it didn’t have any wowing effect on me to go out of my way for it. I would totally recommend.

I would say this is a safe stop for lunch on the go if your starving, can’t drive another mile to eat. It’s clean, prices listed, not many choices for sandwiches. You get a ticket when you order and they say your number to get your food. The drinks and chips are extra. Over 75% of the bottled drinks were $ 2.00. It had a variety of off of to prepare at home. I would not make it my first food stop in the area. But it was warm, filling and the cheese was melted on the meat load. Oh and there is a note on the front door no bathroom– a little tacky in my book.
