Boscov’s Easton

Customer service is excellent Angie in made for tv. Dept is always pleasant and knows her job She has a smile for customers even when issuing returns for the many damaged garden hoses, She is liked and respected by fellow employees. Boscovs has a winner in this employee.

I’ve got a guy who I trust implicitly for eye exams and I never would dream of coming here for one of those. But, while that guy is the best that office charges what I feel is way too much for frames & lenses. Enter a five second Google search and up popped Boscov’s as having an optical center and up popped Boscov’s as having monthly coupon specials which are pretty damn good.
The optical area inside the store is small and seemingly there is only one person working so if things get backed up or if the phone starts ringing things do get a little chaotic but overall both of our visits were fairly solid.
Visit number one we came with the print out of the prescription from the place where the exam was done. We also had a coupon for kids eyewear that said for $ 79 it was two pairs with scratch resistant lenses with a full warranty. Not a bad deal considering the place where the exam got done at more or less offered no frames under $ 200. The only catch was that you had to stay under a certain price for both sets of frames which overall wasn’t too difficult as a good number of frames qualified.
Check out was fairly easy although this is where the one negative occurred which led to the losing of a star. We were told that one pair would be ready in a week at the most since it was the display model and right there whereas the other pair would take seven to ten days and that they would call when each pair was available. That never happened as apparently both pairs came at the same time, two weeks later.
Visit number two was even easier as there was no one else there and we were in and out in under ten minutes with everything being perfect.
Overall this is not my idea of a place where I would shop for everyday things (at least not until I get my AARP card) but all things considered the Optical Center was a good deal and in the future I would have no problem coming back here for that again.
(Also worth noting is that the Optical Center keeps shorter hours than the rest of the store. As an example, the store is open 11 – 6 on Sundays but Optical closes at 3.)

Always a great store. When on sale good sales. Customer service is poor and has been for years. Always check out the 2^nd floor Auditorium for some special deals. Good men’s clothing

My favorite Department store.
I can always find what I’m looking for at Boscov’s and they have great sales. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I always seem to have a hard time finding a sales person, especially in women’s fashions.

Boscov’s knows what’s up in department stores. They’ve got a great mens department, great appliance department, great yard department, and their employees are so helpful. If you’re ever in this store, go to the men’s department and ask for Jon. He’ll bend over backwards to help you!
