Stopped here after work with my niece right when they opened so no one was there lol! We didn’t mind at all, pretty cool sports bar. We went on taco Tuesday all tacos are $ 1.99, food was good. Will return soon, good service as well.

The name alone is an insult to the city. This establishment hasn’t earned the right to call itself«Rivals» in a city that has such pride in its tradition against Phillipsburg. The management/owner has no organization, respect, or integrity for his own business. I’m surprise this dump hasn’t been on bar rescue yet. I had a conflict with rivals two years ago with their shuttle bus that completely ruined plans for a graduation party. Me and a friend called rivals and booked their shuttle to pick us up from a location no more then 2 miles away and had a group of 25 people. We had a confirmation and time slot for a pick up which we thought was all we needed. Just to make sure we went the night before and talked to the management to make sure we were locked in, but to our surprise they didn’t have us down. It was no problem because we ended up fixing the situation and was promised there would be no further problems. Of course the next day around the time we were expecting a pick up there was no driver, no bus, and no phone call saying why they weren’t there. So after we called them multiple times they said they couldn’t get ahold of the bus driver. After two hours we got a call from the driver saying he couldn’t find the bus(which is funny considering it was always parked in front of LA Fitness by the high school). We ended up playing phone tag with the Rivals management and ended up with a dead conversation. So the night ended with us finding multiple DDs and spending our money at Mothers(which I highly recommend over rivals). Overall we never received a apology or follow up with rivals. I guess customer service isn’t part of their business model. I would never recommend this wreck to anyone. Your money is not valued here, and the happy hour deals are honestly a rip-off.

Awesome food for watching a game, and a TON of TVs to keep you busy watching. Really fun place, great management, love it.

I think rivals is one of the greatest bars around Easton! We are always welcomed with our dog, who loves going to! There’s always a water bowl outside and the staff is always so accommodating to us and always comes out to wait on us when we bring our dog! The review done by Alex R. Is one of the most ignorant reviews I have ever seen I feel sorry for his children that they have such judgmental parents.

Enjoyed a few times there and had wonderful foods along with drinks. Bartenders know how to treat their guests easy and comfortably :)

Great place for food and entertainment! Found a seat at the bar on Friday even though it was packed for the band. got my drink right away and food came out in a timely matter despite the 100 people that were there. Over all an AWESOME time to hang dance eat and drink with friends will definitely be back for the other great bands!

Disappointing when you have ZERO customer service. A group of about 12 – 15 of us wanted to play some music so we paid for the music machine to choose our song to soon find out that the management staff would override the machine because in the past people play country music and it makes other guests go home. Sorry but we didn’t select country music and we actually selected some very popular music that all ages and demographics enjoy. Unfortunately we were«out of luck» said the staff because that was not what they would have chosen to play. Why have an option to pay if you just want to basically steal money? Disappointing. The man who seemed to be in charge was more worried about holding a conversation with a random. #roastedwiththefacts Thanks Anthony

We went for Clam Night on Thursday($ 1.99/dozen) and enjoyed it. We also ordered wings and were surprised by how good the peanut butter and jelly wings were! Service was pretty good and the waitress was friendly. We’ll be back eventually for more clams and PB&J wings. Cheese fries were kind of gross and just covered in canned cheese sauce. I wouldn’t pay $ 10 for them again.

Rivals is difficult to pin down. Sports bar at times, family-hangout other times, bass-thumping nightclub other times. Let’s delve a bit deeper. A relative newbie to the Easton bar scene and recently celebrating it’s first birthday(as of this writing), Rivals certainly has a good look. Comfortable seats and tables are arrayed outside of a lively-looking front-face. Stepping in brings you to a large area, with a round central bar with a good amount of seating. To the right are booths and tables, while smaller tables also line the left wall. Past the bar is an open dance floor, along with a small and well-equipped stage. Also in this area is a secondary bar. Lining the walls are numerous enormous televisions, set almost perpetually to any and all sporting events happening at the moment. It looks good in all ways, well-built and very new — standing out from their competition by look alone. The atmosphere is hard to pin down; it seems to drift this way and that depending on the evening. Friday and Saturday evening are without question meant for DJ parties, loud music, dancing, and the crowd these things bring. Other nights are an often-changing lineup of trivia nights, bar bingo, country line dancing, karaōke, standup comedy, open mic nights, bands, and so on. Of late, it appears that many of these activities have vanished or become a less frequent staple of the place — which is a shame, for it was often the only place to find something going on during a weeknight. The crowd varies. The friday/saturday crowd is of a younger set, there to party and dance. Throughout the rest of the week, you’ll find families there during the day and into the evening, while weeknights bring in a fairly small assortment of various types. The music is the standard sort of club stuff you’d expect, though it will often be played even on quiet weeknights at a blasting volume despite an empty dance floor. The dress varies with the crowd, though it skews casual. There is a loose dress code posted at the door and while many appear casual, it’s a presentable sort of casual. The food selections are what you would expect from a traditional bar-food menu, and I’ll say that everything I’ve tried has been good. Their wings are a standout, as they offer a number of interesting sauces to try. I will say that the prices on this fare seem to have escalated a bit over recent months, but they’re still not bad. The drinks are standard. You’ll be able to order any of the recognizable-name beers, and they’ll be quick to get you a shot or set you up with a mixed drink to your liking — though they don’t stock anything too exotic. Again, the prices are average — and they run all sorts of specials from day to day. There isn’t much else to say. Rivals seems to be struggling for an identity and while their experiments can be mildly jarring, they have become an Easton favorite. Drinkys still seems to hold the gold when it comes to Easton’s top nightclub, but that trend seems to be slowly shifting. As for those of us not eager to put on flashy clothes and jerk around to dubstep remixes of 90s rap? It’s worth a roll of the dice. A note: Oddly, Rivals thinks they can get away with charging a cover on Fri/Sat nights. To my knowledge, they are the sole location in Easton to do so — and it’s not looked on favorably by the locals. Especially when there are locations literally ten seconds away that have bands performing or DJ dance parties with no cover fee attached.

Always a good band or dj playing, However they just started charging a cover charge on Friday and Saturday nights. Nobody else does downtown… I live downtown and the cover will reduce the amount of times I go as sometimes I just stop in for a quick drink or two. There are lots of other places downtown with out a cover charge. Please rethink this decision.

As far as Eason Nightclubs go, this is the best you’ll find. The location has shown to sacrifice very little quality to provide a solid nightlife experience. The business has a large stage for live entertainment a large dance area, and good seating around the establishment. They have an outside area with seating and heaters if you’d like to smoke in the wintertime. The bar provides solid service and wait times for drinks are reasonable even when the business is busy. Their drinks are of good quality and served in glassware. The bar also highlights several TVs for the avid sports fan. No matter what the sport, your game should be available on one of the several new HDTVs that are set up around the bar. I’ve yet to have any of their food options, but overall the business provides high quality service and entertainment. I’d recommend this place to anyone visiting the city and looking for live entertainment.

Went for Sunday football and it was probably the best bar in the downtown Easton area. Staff was friendly, wings were meaty but the hot buffalo sauce lacked any heat. Thankfully for the big screen, the Giants/Panthers was on(even though I am a devoted Carolina Panthers fan). Would return back again for sure.

When Drinkys drops the ball, this is a good backup. And when I say ‘drops the ball’, I SPECIFICALLY mean when they decide to host a Silent Disco Competition where people dance to music listened to on wireless headphones where two DJs compete for listeners. That is dropping the ball. Twice. First time here was upon such an evening… place is a decent size. I just don’t know why the bouncers and security guards wear suits. ‘Sports bar’ is in the name of the establishment… not MIB. A lot of people were dancing and the music was good… and then on the other side of the dance floor you can watch the game and whatnot if sports is your kinda thing. I don’t know how it is here when Drinkys is NOT dropping the ball though… Drinkys will always be my first choice in Easton otherwise until I do find out. And believe me… I will.

This place just opened, it smells brand new. It’s a refreshing addition to the nightlife scene in Easton. The wings are great, the beer is cheap, and if you came to watch a fight or a sports game. They have enough televisions at rivals to stock a small best buy. Not to mention, the can accommodate a full band with a raised stage, and a large dance area that will blow your mind.
